Some news sources claim that the Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba could join Barcelona too next summer. Paul Pogba's contract with Manchester United is ending this summer too and Barcelona might afford his demands maybe because of that. But they are still not strong financially now. I really wonder what team Pogba will choose to go. Or maybe he will reach an agreement with his current team for a contract extension. I don't think that he will stay as long as his team don't qualify for the CL.

I think Pogba will leave Man Utd in the next transfer window his time is really limited and he needs more play time. Barcelona is getting free transfers only so this is a big chance for them to grab a high class player for free. So i wouldnt be surprised if he joins Barca

I'm thinking that Messi isn't going to stay at PSG anymore by this summer. But it is hard to answer what team we can see him at next season. Because I'm not expecting Barcelona to even make an offer for him. Because Xavi is trying completely new things at the team and this has started giving positive results already. He wouldn't change his plans by adding his old teammate to the team again. So the biggest possibility and the best choice for Messi would be Manchester City. He should have gone there in the first place already.
With haaland currently on its way signing a mega contract at manchester city ..

They are unstoppable ! Pep guardiola .. the best coach in the world , erling haaland a youngster beast currently the best young player with tons of achievement and if messi join the force then i dont know what to say , especially if they failed to win the champions league.

On the contrary, the chances are high that he will return to Barcelona. Many media reports say that Messi's people have already contacted Barça and Lionel probably won't even care about the salary because he is madly in love with this club and is ready to play there almost for free (at least that was what was discussed when Messi left the club). I think Xavi won't have to change his tactics or change his plans too much, Messi will fit into any scheme

Do you think Messi is still interested in a move outside PSG?I don't really think that is in the Argentine man's agenda. He is a player in PSG and therefore remain committed to the team, and secondly,i don't think Guardiola is ready to add a player like Messi to their profile. He might be interested in Haaland because Haaland is still very young, and he hasn't gotten to the level of Messi.
Why not? If he starts to feel uncomfortable at PSG, he is very likely to consider leaving. He is no longer young, he must think of moving to another team if he thinks PSG isn't an appropriate place for him. What for spending much time in PSG? This team has no capability to win UCL and other international trophies. So, better to move to another team that has a better quality/capability.

Regarding Guardiola, he should consider Messi if he thinks it is possible to sign him. Messi still has a good performance, he still can compete in the top football competition. He only decreased his individual record because he has no good partners in his current team. By the way, I doubt if Man City will be easy to sign Haaland. Remember that Bayern and Real Madrid are also trying to sign him.

I don't think Lionel Messi is going to be the preference for any club at the moment especially when they have the option to go for Haaland. Do you understand Messi is not getting any younger and with Haaland, that club can get years of good service. I don't think Real Madrid will be able to sign Haaland. And I also think the player will always prefer Manchester City over Bayern Munich.

According to several sources, Rudiger is basically a new Juventus player.

Smaller rumors? Juventus is going for Momo Salah.

Wow! Juventus going for Mohamed Salah is really surprising to me. And I really think that Liverpool should fix the problem with him about his contract. I think Juventus is just a start. If his contract does not get sorted out I think he will be approached by other bigger clubs as well.

Real Madrid are losing hope of beating Manchester City to the signing of 21-year-old Norway striker Erling Braut Haaland from Borussia Dortmund. It was obviously an unrealistic expectation that Real could bring both him and Mbappe.
Exactly! It was already seeming like a mission impossible for Real Madrid to sign these two stars both at the same time. I don't mean the money of course as Real Madrid would afford them both as well. They are one of the richest clubs in the world now. I mean that there will always be other teams after both of these players. Mbappe is a sure deal for Real Madrid maybe. But Haaland is not like that. His situation is not the same as Mbappe's. We might really see Haaland at Manchester City next season as the English club changed their route from Harry Kane to him now.

I knew that if Real Madrid tries to bring both Mbappe and Haaland, it's not going to work out, and that's exactly what has happened. But Manchester City is going to be a good place for him.

Lionel Messi does want to come back to Barcelona and I think everyone in Barcelona also wants that to happen but it seems highly unlikely because his salary is just too much for Barcelona right now.

With or without taxes?

It seems that the €15m are after tax. So €25-30 before taxes. That would be more than Robert Lewandowski earns and therefore completely unrealistic. But I can' t judge how serious the numbers mentioned are, tbh. The German sport news website Sport reports that Rüdiger wants quadruple his current salary of €6m. Absolutely insane.

Source: https://www.sport.de/news/ne4741675/irres-gehalt-fuer-ruediger-wohl-kein-problem-fuer-den-fc-bayern/

If it is with taxes I think is a normal price in the current state of the market.
It is a normal price for a free agent, a good player in a top team.

You're right, but he's 29 years-old already. Might be his last "big" contract, but these numbers are just ridicolous, IMHO.

It looks like the transfer race for Pedro Porro has begun. Porro is currently on loan from Manchester City to Sporting Clube. Sporting has an option to buy, but is considering selling the player on at a higher price in the summer. FC Bayern, Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are interested in signing him.

Pedro Porro is at the top of Bayern's list of candidates for the right-back position. Porro fits perfectly into the profile of a right wing-back in a back 3 system that Julian Nagelsmann is looking for. Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atlético are also interested.

Sporting have yet to activate their buy option for Porro, who's still on loan from Manchester City. The Portuguese club knows there's profit to be made. They will buy the player permanently, then listen to offers. The race for Porro is just getting started [@JorgeGarciaH_]

This could be interesting. Pretty much every top club is interested in signing him. Does anyone know the player better and can say something about him?

These rumours are just coming due to not much impact of Messi at PSG. I think these are just rumours not coming out from strong sources. He is a PSG player now and continue to remain there until his contract runs out. The only thing Xavi said is that he is welcome here anytime he wants to comeback but now depends on Messi what decision he makes and I think he will stay. Messi to City , seems hard to see that happen.

Xavi has certainly done really well with the current Barcelona squad. I can say that people trust him. So do the players.

But I really don't think that Messi to Barcelona is an option right now. his salary is not affordable by Barcelona at the moment.

And the coach mentioning his name does not mean he is coming back to Barcelona.

I don't think Messi will move to Manchester City or any English club because the competition is a lot higher in the English Premier League which certainly doesn't suit Messi at the moment.
I can remember that there would have been Messi who would basically want to play for Barcelona for free when he had to leave, but that was not allowed because you have a percentage that you have to pay at least compared to last time. Since he has moved to another club, does it seem to me that the previous percentages of a salary no longer apply? Perhaps Messi should accept that PSG was a bad choice and return to Barcelona. If the rules allow that, of course.

I really don't understand why Liverpool is not sorting out the problem with Mohamed salah's contract because he has done quite well with Liverpool.
Well, so Liverpool certainly wants to extend with Salah. If that hasn't happened yet, then there are only two reasons for me: Either Salah demands so much money that even Liverpool doesn't want to pay that much, which is rather unlikely for me, or Salah doesn't want to extend and is waiting for good offers from other clubs. The last option seems the most likely to me.

I don't know if any other team has shown interest in Mohamed Salah but if his contract does not get renewed I think he will be approached by other big teams. I think Bayern Munich and PSG are on that list. And probably Chelsea has a chance too.

-
They are trying - but Liverpool is not a financial giant like Real, PSG or City. You saw what happened to Barcelona with their huge contracts - Liverpool cannot afford to give Salah an astronomical salary.

Salah wants one though because he knows he can get it in some other clubs, so they are still working on it. Salah wants to stay, Liverpool wants him to stay, but so far neither side is willing to make a big compromise.

I still think he will stay - but it will be a hard deal to negotiate.

I understand the logic of both parties here but one will eventually have to compromise. Otherwise, I think Mohamed Salah is eventually going to be approached by other big teams who will be able to give him more money. I don't think it will hurt Liverpool to give him a little more money but once they do that other players will also make their demands.

Am looking forward to seeing when Chelsea will finally come out of this section of them being banned to buy new players because of the Russian involvement of the club owner, I know this will be a big drawback for Chelsea as a club.
Apart from that, they also cannot extend their contract with their current 3 main pillars namely Rudiger, Christensen and Azpilicueta.
The problem with this is their 3 core defenders which I think will be very difficult to replace just like that.
This is clearly a loss for Chelsea because indeed they have to be affected by what they actually have nothing to do with it.

I think so, the great PSG shirt 30 has already shown that he is very dissatisfied at the club, and will probably return to Spanish football next season, that's my guess from what I've seen happening.
Messi arrived at PSG at zero cost and created a lot of expectations there after leaving Barcelona. But when Messi's numbers playing for the first time outside of La Liga are very weak, despite his good participation in games, his campaign at PSG in the Champions League is very modest for Messi's level.
I would bet on Barcelona, even more with Xavi in charge it would be easier, the problem is the financial crisis that still rages,

The way PSG play is not the same as the way Messi plays in my opinion so if things like this can't be put together it will be very difficult for Messi to make something interesting there.
Even if he does move he is also likely to be quite confused about where he is going now and it would be great if City still want to use this player.
But indeed if he is still quite happy with PSG's finances then it will be quite difficult in my opinion

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has played down speculation linking him with Manchester United, saying the Stamford Bridge club "has everything it needs to make me happy". Tuchel is leading the club well so far, but the question is what will happen to Chelsea by the end of the season due to financial sanctions and how it will affect the club's results.
Brazil defender Dani Alves, 38, says former Barcelona team-mate Lionel Messi is not enjoying himself at Paris St-Germain and hopes the 34-year-old Argentina forward can return to the Nou Camp. Can Messi really return to Barcelona after only a year?
Manchester City have agreed a £5.4m deal to sign Atletico Mineiro forward Savio, 17, who has played for Brazil at youth level. Can Savio be the new Messi or Neymar?

Getting Luiz Diaz at the transfer window, made me think a bit about Liverpool's plan for Mohamed Salah.
I see he hasn't signed a contract up till this moment, and with he's age fast going,I find it difficult to say Liverpool will offer him a new contract.
With all this, I think if the contract doesn't goes through, the best place for him to finally end is Paris saint Germany.
If Mbappe leaves, of which I'm sure he will, they need a pacy and goal scoring attacker to replace him, and Salah suits better for this position.
Even if they are going to let him go, I am confident they will offer him a contract extension, because the club would like to make some money from selling him off, if that is the case. Mohammed Salah is not the type of player who will be let go for nothing, thus I expect a contract extension for him.

Listen to yourself, make money from this old player ?
I don't think so, I think he'll make a move out if a god deal with Liverpool is not yet agreed.
I see he has got he's eys on the Golden boot having 20 goals in the premier league.
No player also is bigger than the club, all they should ensure is to get a perfect replacement if he does leaves the club.
