This is what happens when you are not smart. Gavi should be one of the players Barcelona should be building their future around, yet they cannot pay him because they bring an overpriced old striker as a panic signing on the last day of the transfer window.

When we take this into account, it is quite probable that he would quit his job after his current contract with his team ends. But it looks like the players don't want to let him go yet and they are trying to convince him to stay. In my opinion, he has been the best thing happened to Manchester City so far. Thanks to his system and player choices, Manchester City have dominated the league so far. The only thing absent is the Champions League title now. I also think that only the absence of the title of the winner of the Champions League can make Guardiola think about continuing cooperation with Manchester City. You might be right. Not sure if he is the kind player Guardiola would be looking for? One thing is for sure, there are English clubs that are able to pay him more than the salary Chelsea offered him. In Germany there is probably only Bayern and Dortmund, so you might be right and Spain could be his next destination.

Having won the CL with Chelsea, Rudiger simply doesn't falls to me as a guy who will just make a move to English club in PL. Spain, Paris , Italy, Germany...lot of options for him.

Now that he comes from Germany, who knows maybe he has a great offer from Bayern Munich and actually wants to end his career at the best German club that is out there. As long as they win the EPL then its all good though. The competition in EPL is far harder than any other league so winning the league is pretty much a good feat already

a growing issue he is willing to be extended if his new contract 250 thousand pounds a week, I think he deserves to be paid that much, I think people also agree with me, he's a pretty complete defender with defensive skills, possession of the ball and being able to score goals which I think is incredible. Chelsea should immediately complete his new contract rather than having to lose it on a free transfer or cut from behind by other club.

Which means that they could get 200k per week from Real if they want to, or maybe a little less, as long as there is no transfer fee. Rudiger is a defender who can successfully fight for Chelsea for many years. I like him style.. One of the important generations of the German defense. And if they sign young, promising players like Çağlar Söyüncü or Demiral, Chelsea will not have a defense problem for many years. One of the best options for number 2 is Rudiger.

Even if it is now said that the player did not feel valued by the club, the extension failed because of the player's salary.
