I have to say that I do not understand him. He is either incredibly brave or incredibly stupid - I cannot imagine him sprinting around 90 minutes every game after an experience like this.
I know some players play with it - Blind for example. But Blind never had such an experience - he simply had it implanted before anything happened.

All the best though Smiley

There is some interesting news about Christian Eriksen now. It is rumoured that he will be reaching an agreement with Brentford soon. This is really interesting as we haven't seen him playing for a long time. As you know, he had cardiac arrest in the Euro 2020 and hasn't played in a game since. Now, it looks like he is returning to football again. I thought that he would retire after having a serious health problem. But if he wants to come back, then I would like to see him playing at a bigger club than Brentford.

https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/christian-eriksen-brentford-transfer-done-26021119

Sky Sports News did report that Christian Eriksen would soon join Brentford, Eriksen is currently in the process of negotiating a short-term contract
with Brentford. It is possible that in the next few days Brentford will introduce Eriksen as their new player. I didn't expect that with a heart problem
like that Eriksen still wants to play professional football, I thought he would follow in the footsteps of Aguero retiring. Maybe because Eriksen is
only 29 years old, so he still has unfulfilled ambitions as a footballer. One of Eriksen's ambitions is to return to the Danish national team, because if
he officially becomes a Brentford player, it will open up opportunities for Eriksen to defend his country in the 2022 World Cup. After all, Brentford will
also play better if they manages to bring in Eriksen, because we know how Eriksen's playing ability is. So I believe Eriksen can make a big contribution
to Brentford.
Regulations at the FIGC or the Italian Football Federation do not allow Inter Milan to play Eriksen because a heart attack forced the player to look for a club outside Serie A to continue his career. I think Bretford is a pretty good choice compared to accepting a proposal from Ajax Amsterdam who are interested in re-signing Eriksen. But it will take a process to see Eriksen back to his best because he has been out for more than 6 months after the incident that happened to him at EURO 2020.

But I think that sending him from the club is the best thing that Barcelona can do now. Because he is a big disappointment and he should get going very soon. Barcelona can find a much better winger than him.
Barcelona doesn't need to find another one to replace him, don't you forget Ferran Torres? I am sure Barcelona sign Ferran Torres NOT as the substitute for Dembele, but they plan to replace him with Ferran Torres. Since there is no need to have Dembele in the squad, the best option is to put him on the transfer list. I bet Dembele agent is aware of his client's future in Barcelona, that's why he doesn't want a contract extension for the next season. He realizes that Dembele probably sits on the bench if Ferran Torres performs well.

Should looking new player replace Ansu Fati position trough he out until end competition after injury, I think Ferran Torres is not left winger position he only playing well as forward. Although still have Memphis Depay looks not make Xavi really happy because he not as priority for regular player under Xavi. Bad news again with Dembele not try to extended new contract and will sell before window transfer close will loss many left or right winger position on Barcelona after loan Coutinho to Aston Villa, just left young player only on Barcelona team right now and I think is not enough for them keep talking more on La Liga.

Yes. The signing of Ferran Torres by Barca helps make Dembele's exit less painful. He has enough talent to make a success of Dembele's place at the club. But, to be fair to Torres, more games will be needed to know what he's about. He will definitely get a chance to impress this season.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti says Eden Hazard is set to stay at the club. The 31-year-old Belgian winger has been linked with a return to the Premier League this January. This is a surprise to me, I thought Real wanted to get rid of him.
I'm actually surprised with this news as well, I mean Hazard has more or less contributed little or nothing to Real since joining them, and personally I think it's about time the two parties sever their relationship, it could even be good for Hazard, it's very possible that he moves to another team and maybe rediscovers his lost form and fitness, sometimes a change of club, maybe country can help a player, and that very well could be what Hazard needs. Well if Real still wants him, then maybe they have plans of playing him more frequently whenever he is fit to see if he can actually come good again, we'll all have to wait and see.
These words of Ancelotti also sounded quite surprising to me. Another question is that it seems that the conversation was about a transfer to Newcastle, which is now in distress and Eden Hazard himself did not agree to this transfer, not wanting to spend the near future of his career fighting for survival. It could also be said that the new club would not be able to pay the same money to Hazard as Real Madrid, but it seems that this does not apply to the case with Newcastle and the club could pay even more to the player himself. Also, Ancelotti's words sounded a certain surprise to me that Hazard is included in their plans for the next season and Ancelotti himself can confirm this.

Manchester United have pulled out of the bidding war to sign Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland.

Haaland is leaning towards a summer transfer to Real Madrid and United are ready to turn to other targets, according to ESPN.

And Red Devils chiefs believe they will not be able to persuade the centre-forward to snub a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

United have been keeping tabs on the Norway international since his days playing at Red Bull Salzburg
https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/17071013/chelsea-transfer-news-live-bellingham-real-madrid-haaland-newcastle-lingard/
Everyone and their grandmother wants to sign Haaland. That is not a secret and he is a great player and every single team on the planet would love to have him. Real Madrid story has been out for a long time, Real wants to get Mbappe, and Haaland wants to go there as well. Could this technically happen? It could, and it would guarantee another 10 years of success for Real as well, but I am not sure if it will happen.

Yes, Real has enough money to get them both, Mbappe will be free transfer this off-season and they will pay him a great salary, and Haaland will be needed to be bought but Real has enough to offer that much, then some for Haaland as well. But, do we really think that they are willing to spend close to 300 million in a single offseason? Between around 200 for Haaland, and maybe like 50 and 50 for both salaries, I guess it will be somewhere between 250-300 million. That's way too much for a single off-season.

Wow, my dreams are slowly turning into reality (Mbappe + Haaland at Real Madrid), although I would not mind if Haaland moved to United as this team is from the pool of teams that I support. It looks like Real Madrid is ready to assemble a new galacticos, hopefully their results will be better than other recent similar projects (PSG).
if indeed this is realized well then indeed the era of galacticos will return again and it is very nice to see Grin
But on the other hand there needs to be sacrifices there, in the past when the galacticos era existed there were a number of good players dumped by madrid like Sneijder and robben, and when now they are able to bring the galacticos back of course there will be more victims like that year.
very interesting to see what will be like in the future.

Manchester United have pulled out of the bidding war to sign Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland.

Haaland is leaning towards a summer transfer to Real Madrid and United are ready to turn to other targets, according to ESPN.

The question is whether Haaland wants to join Real Madrid. He has always indicated that England is his destination, as his father was already a player in the Premier League and he himself lived there for a few years. Haaland has also proven in the past that he doesn't necessarily follow big money but what he wants. He went to Dortmund although he has been chased by all the top clubs and even could have gotten more money elsewhere.
I'm still not sure about this because even though Madrid are preparing to sign Haaland, on the other hand, there are many teams who are ready to join in on the signing of this young player.
on the other hand madrid is also a little more sure to get mbappe I think.
I quite agree with what you said about haaland most likely joining the EPL

I guess it all depends on the recovery on Miniola, he I the boss behind the scenes and he will also make the deals.

Raiola said last year he will not give more players after Pogba to this Manchester United.

I think we can already cancel this rumor.

There is no way that any top players would even consider United as their next team especially with how bad United currently is. Its a fact and yeah United could literally sign most of the top players but pretty sure the youngsters are not going to be sway away with only money though. The team cant win the EPL thats for sure as long as City keeps on dominating and its going to be hard in UCL as well
I also agree with this because Manchester United, instead of having a lot of star players in their team, it seems that nothing is working correctly as it should and the chemistry between the players doesn't seem too good. And I think, thinking that Erling Haaland is going to move to Manchester United is a kind of fantasy.

I think ok at his age when he was chased by a lot of bigger clubs it was easy for him to follow the money but he made the right decision. But even though he wants to be in England, Real Madrid is not going to be a bad destination for him either in my opinion.

Haaland will pick a top club, United currently isn't one. I see only 4 options for him - that are City, Real, Liverpool and PSG. I doubt that he would go to France and I think Real will prioritize Mbappe, so City is my favorite for Haaland - but I really hope Liverpool will enter the race as well.

I just saw that Tottenham bought Adama - what the hell are they thinking? I am positive that Conte will put him in as a wing-back, maybe he'll even be decent there. Imagine him upfront, combining with Kane and Son.

Well they are almost out of it though

Sigh, I just read the update about Ansu Fati getting another long-term injury. And with the Dembele saga looking like we'll lose another familiar face. I mean yes, yes he was on treatment a lot but still this season I felt like I was getting used to him also. I feel like we're in such a nightmare there's no ending at all. When we reach a stage like this, fighting with players, I think we really are lost in the jungle. Poor Barca.
Yeah, I see that Fati is out until mid February. He is a very unlucky guy that he experiences this kind of injuries. I hope that this doesn't affect his performance badly in the long term. He is a very promising player. Some people claim that he is the new Messi for Barcelona but I don't think so. It is really hard to see a very special player like Messi there for a long time. But one thing is certain that Fati has a good potential and Barcelona can even sell him for insane amount of money in the future if they'd like to.
I do not think that this injury specifically will impact his future, it is probably a minor thing and he will be back soon. However, the fact that he is prone to injury could impact his future. He was branded as the "next Messi" for Barcelona, we all knew he wasn't that good, but at least he was a bit good, like still a star player to be fair, Messi is just otherworldly, even most star players that we know do not end up being close to him.

However, if he keeps getting injured all the time constantly like this, then I do not think that he will be any good. Doesn't matter how good you are if you keep getting injured all the time. Fati needs to get better in shape to be stronger so he doesn't get injured like this constantly.

^ Ansu Fati is a really good player, but do you remember we also said that Gareth Bale, Eden Hazard is going to be the next Messi and Ronaldo but they all just got lost in time because of injuries, and I hope that the same thing does not happen to him.
A lot of good players who had some real potential could not be the greatest or maybe the Legends of the game just because of being injury prone.

But if he is really able to stay in shape and play for a longer time and also stay healthy then he can be a really good asset for any team.
