Salah's demands for contract extension are slowly coming to light. Apparently he's asking close to 400.000 pounds per week - he's looking to match De Bruyne's City contract.
He's currently on around half of that, I think current deal is 220.000 per week. It is a big increase but I am hopeful Liverpool will be able to lower that a bit to a more acceptable 350.000 range and that he will stay with us.
Liverpool is in a tricky situation - with 3 expiring contracts in summer of 2023 - Salah, Mane and Firmino. We must be careful with our decisions, we cannot extend all and give all of them new big contracts.

This is gonna be hard for Liverpool to match Salah's demands. Liverpool still knows that Salah is an asset for them and will still be if they are able to keep him for 2 or 3 more years. It also makes sense for Salah to demand such wage as he is contributing a huge lot to Liverpool's success. But teams like RMA or Bayern are also there to pay Salah what he wants or maybe more than that.
So I think that Liverpool should extend Salah's contract at least as soon as they can as a trend has started about players not extending their contract and going to another club for free. Liverpool would surely not want that.
Liverpool must move quickly to extend Mohamed Salah's contract, because Salah's contract period will expire in the summer of 2023. This means
that there are 18 months left for Liverpool management to extend Mohamed Salah's contract. Actually, Salah's agent has opened negotiations
with Liverpool's management. But negotiations were hampered by Mohamed Salah's fantastic salary increase request, and that's a natural thing
for a star player like Salah, he deserves a high salary. But according to Klopp there is nothing to worry about, everything will go normally.
Because Salah wants to keep playing for Liverpool and so Liverpool want to keep him. It is only a matter of time until both parties will find
an agreement. Klopp also insisted that negotiating a new contract for a player as important as Salah would not be easy. There are many things
to consider and discuss, Jurgen Klopp is also very confident Salah will extend his contract with Liverpool.
I have already expressed a similar opinion and I am glad that my opinion completely coincides with this information 
It is not necessary to formulate and assert so crudely that Haaland is afraid of competition with Mbappe and therefore does not want to play with him in the same club. There is simply nothing wrong when a football player wants all the attention and love of the fans and the management of the club to be turned to the only modest and irreplaceable person and not sprayed in vain in other directions
