The main point is not to let Pogba go for free this summer.

Actually they would make use of a top striker for the next season. I know that they have Cristiano Ronaldo but he won't be enough for them. Cavani will most probably leave the team and Rashford is better as a winger. As Ronaldo is not playing like in the old days anymore, this could lead to a big scoring problem for the team. And if they want to play bigger than this, they should be looking for a top striker. Maybe they won't be able to sign Haaland as the other teams like Real Madrid, PSG etc. are also in the race. But there are still alternatives of course.

Kessie is a good midfielder, he seems to be suitable with Real Madrid. But I think Real Madrid has a big chance to sign Pogba if Pogba decides to leave Manchester United. So, I am not sure Real Madrid will sign him once Real Madrid already gets Pogba in the next transfer window. Actually, Real Madrid still has some good midfielders and they are not in urgent of a new midfielder.

It is said that Manchester United have ended their interest in Erling Haaland for now. It is normal obviously as Dortmund don't want to sell him already now. I know that Haaland has a release clause also but he also doesn't want to leave the team in the middle of the season. I assume that the rest of the teams have lost their close interest in him for now too. But in this summer, I expect many big clubs to get in the race to sign him.

Franck Kassie is good option for Madrid midfielder after this position have over player filled by Madrid midfielder like Toni Kroos and Modric have pass more than 35 years old. I think Kassie get problem with extended new contract with Ac Milan and right now he still not trying for stay in With Milan, trough salary problem maybe he want join with other club can give more chance to get trophy like Real Madrid.

He is not even as big as Willock who they got at the start of the season (well end of last season could be true as well) and by that time they didn't know they would relegate and they didn't know they would be certainly sold as a club, there were talks for years but the decision was made early into the season.

So, this transfer means absolutely nothing at all by itself, they should have a lot more players that are great in order to actually show some promise.

Gerrard must have asked for it specially. Coutinho played successful games in Liverpool. I think he will be Maestro in Aston Villa. He has a football mind that can run the game. It looks like there are two big teams after the 17-year-old Barcelona midfielder Gavi to sign. It seems that he has a 42 million pounds release clause. Yeah the guy is in form and he is still 21. There are many more strikers on the list that are under Arsenal's radar but Vlahovic is the only one who is young and quite in form as well. His situation with the current club is also suiting Gunners. With Auba and Laca getting old it was evident that Gunners will start looking for strikers at a point. Nketiah could have been an option but that's not an effective option right away. Regarding Lucas Torreira, I am not sure how he is doing at Fiorentina, but if Fiorentina are happy with his performance then that's a good deal also. I hope this one gets done as quick as possible as it will make the Arsenal all set in my opinion.

I am still very surprise why Coutinho joined Aston Villa on loan,when Arsenal were interested in his signature.
He is a good player that can play either position upfront,and his style of football would have really suited Arsenal's pattern of football,But he opted to join Aston Villa on loan.He is a good player that will really elevate the club he has signed for.

I think join Aston Villa although as loan option is the best decision taking by Coutinho and leaving Barcelona is good option for getting chance to be Brazil squad for World cup on Qatar in this year, maybe keep stay on Barcelona will not give solution and get chance to be Brazil team for world cup because he can't get minutes playing there. I hope he can playing well and show best performance on primer league after his magic gone when moving to Barcelona, many player have bad career after moving to Barcelona and need to out from this team to get back top performance.
