Transfer rumours:

Manchester United have drawn up a four-man shortlist in case 34-year-old Uruguay striker Edinson Cavani joins Barcelona, including Norway's Erling Braut Haaland, 21, Portugal's Joao Felix, 22, Germany forward Timo Werner, 25 and Sweden's Alexander Isak, 22. Manchester United is again very active in the football market and is spending a lot again, but will that help them finally return to the top of English football?
I just saw that they were very ambitious to win the title again after a long absence without a Premier League title. But it's still possible to say they won't be able to do it this season considering Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City all dominate in the Premier League. Buying some new players with guaranteed quality is an option when a team wants to win a title in one of the best League so far. Manchester United might be able to win the title but they have to beat Liverpool, City and Chelsea and I think they just need to buy some good players to get better chance.

Manchester United reportedly seems to be very busy in the transfer market later, apart from being linked with Haalaand, Manchester United will reportedly also try to bring in Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid in January, Joao Felix who has a contract until 2026 is reportedly ready to be released by Atletico Madrid at a higher cost of 80 million euros.

Taking the Daily Mail's news into account, Manchester United have made a list consisting of strikers in case Edinson Cavani leaves the team. And there are four strikers in this list now: Erling Haaland, Joao Felix, Timo Werner and Alexander Isak. Among them, the striker that attracts everyone's attention directly is of course Erling Haaland.  Grin  But he is the most difficult target to sign either. But if they become successful on this transfer, we could start to watch a much better Manchester United as of then.

Haalaand future is currently being speculated, his impressive performances with Dortmund have certainly attracted many big clubs who want to sign him in the winter transfer window, currently Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester City are the leading clubs who might get him in the winter transfer , I think Manchester United, which currently has Ronaldo, will not be too pushy to sign Haalaand, moreover Haaland has a release clause which is quite expensive at 75 million euros, so I think maybe only Manchester City and Real Madrid have a greater chance of getting Haaland.

Tottenham Hotspur have joined Manchester City and Manchester United in closely monitoring the situation of Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen. The 25-year Denmark centre-back is out of contract at the end of this season, although the Blues still hope he will sign a new deal. There is a lot of interest in Christensen. Where will he end up?
Ajax manager Erik ten Haag, 51, has jumped to the top of Manchester United's shortlist as the Premier League club continue to consider options for their next permanent manager. Wasn't he a serious candidate for the Newcastle coach? He doesn't seem to be going to England.
Chelsea and Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku, 28, will return to Serie A before the end of his career, his agent has said. Does that mean Lukaku is returning to Inter?
Paris-St Germain and Argentina forward Mauro Icardi's wife and agent is holding talks with Juventus over a potential return to Italy for the 28-year-old. Is Wanda bored of life in Paris and wants to return to Italy?  Grin

Actually last season Cavani played quite well with Manchester United last season, the proof is Cavani was able to score 11 goals, but with the arrival of Ronaldo, of course, Cavani is currently struggling to compete in the Manchester United main squad and maybe it's better for him to leave Manchester in January.
If I look at the list of targets for buying Manchester City players in January, of course, Haalaand is the best choice, but as you said if it is indeed Haalaand it is certainly very difficult to get, but I think Manchester can use Sancho to persuade Haalaand to join Manchester, because all this time We know that Sancho and Haalaand had a very good and close relationship when they were both Dortmund players.

Haaland is a really difficult target for Manchester United to reach an agreement indeed. Because there will be some other big clubs on the line to make a serious effort to sign him too. In this case, we don't know what club Haaland will decide to go. There are some claims like Rangnick could convince Haaland's parents to sign a deal with Manchester United but I don't know.

Recentl news says that Corinthians submitted an offer to Cavani, giving him a contract until 2024.
The news is talking about a good financial offer that might persuade him to go to Brazil, to live closer to his country, Uruguay, which he wanted to return to had it not been for the arrival of Man United's offer.
It will be interesting to see if he is going to choose to stay or leave for a place close to his home or join Barcelona because they clearly need a striker to survive this hard season they have.

Despite having ownership change,  the New Castle United club is still struggling to show up some good performance. The only thing they are doing is either losing the match or a draw. The fans were expecting new players and management to join in after this ownership change but still nothing has been done. Anyone following this club? are there new players coming in.
For now newcastle can't do anything because they haven't been able to improve their current squad, the transfer of ownership of course doesn't really affect the team's performance because they really have to wait for the transfer market to open later, I think we will see a lot of changes in newcastle later on January and with the amount of money they have of course they will be very active later in the transfer market.

Thanks for the update that transfer will be in Jan 2022, so we have to wait for that transfer. The new owners are from ksa so it's expected that lots of money will flow in just like UAE owners of Man City did. The team badly need new quality players along with good management, all this of course need money.
But the only downside of having new capital pumped into the team is results won't be seen immediately as most of us would expect... Its a long ptocess as in the case with Manchester city who first accquired the players and then got a coach that would build the team based on his coaching style and this is exactly what Newcastle will go through before the guys play as a team. A season or two should see Newcastle as a better team.

Some more Erling Haaland news: The German newspaper Bild is reporting that FC Bayern isn't interested in signing Haaland in the summer. Instead of signing Haaland, the FC Bayern management led by chairman Oliver Kahn prefers to extend Robert Lewandowski's contract, which expires in 2023.

Despite Mino Raiola's latest statements mentioning Bayern as a possible destination for Erling Haaland, FCB's priority is and remains to extend Robert Lewandowski's contract beyond 2023. Oliver Kahn especially prefers the Pole over Haaland [Bild]

Source: https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1469416694661718018

I think this is the right decision by FC Bayern. Robert Lewandowski can play at the absolute top level for a few more years. In addition, the transfer poker for Haaland is likely to go crazy and the transfer fee will end up being well over €100m.

What do you guys think?

Finally! I was really scared of Bayern Munich to sign Erling Haaland too. It is really boring to see Bayern Munich adding all the talented players into their squad in the Bundesliga. For example, Lewandowski was playing at Dortmund and then transferred by Bayern Munich. I wouldn't like to see the same thing happening to this very talented and young player Erling Haaland too. I want to watch him playing outside the Bundesliga also.

I think this is great news! Lewandowski must end his career in Bayern Munich and become the best player in their history (by the number of goals), he has time to make it. Haaland hopefully will move to Real or any other team, but the main thing is not to Bavaria (this tradition must be broken when the best players leave Borussia for Bayern).

According to El Nacional, West Ham made an offer worth £21m for Real Madrid winger Eden Hazard. But it was rejected by Real Madrid. He is 30 years old now and he has a contract running until 2024. I wonder if Eden Hazard would like to come back to the Premier League. If he does, then Real Madrid would have no choice other than finding a club for him. But I think it is better for him to stay here rather than joining West Ham.
Hazard opportunities in La Liga and Real Madrid seem to be a bit deadlocked. not without reason, because while he was in the Real Madrid uniform, his performances over the past few seasons were far from impressive and unlike when he was at chlesea.
I think Madrid should let this player go if there are still those who are interested and able to pay his expensive salary.
So far he's been one of Madrid's failed signings I think

I agree that Hazard doesn't seem suitable to play in La Liga, his form continues to decline compared to when he played in the Premier League.
It is better if Real Madrid immediately release Hazard, because Hazard does not have a good contribution to Real Madrid. I think Real Madrid rejected
West Ham's offer not because they wanted to keep Hazard, but because West Ham's offer was too small for Real Madrid to accept. Besides
Hazard's remaining contract at Real Madrid is still quite long, Real Madrid also bought Hazard at a fairly expensive price. Real Madrid will sell Hazard
but not for too low a price. Supposedly if West Ham are serious about getting Hazard, they have to adjust the price that Real Madrid wants. According
to rumors not only West Ham who want to buy Hazard, but there are several other Premier League teams who are interested in buying Hazard too.
Hopefully Hazard can move from Real Madrid soon, otherwise his career will be ruined if he continues to stay at Real Madrid.
Yep, several big clubs want to bring in Hazard in the January transfer window and even I heard some news that he is now being targeted by Juventus as a replacement for Cristiano in the front lines.
In addition, this season's rich club, Newcastle, also wants the services of this Belgian-blooded player.
when the price that Madrid wants is reached I think it is very likely that he will leave Real Madrid.
On the other hand, Madrid will get a little profit when they manage to sell madrid even though the price is not according to the purchase a few seasons ago, but at least they can cut a big salary from this player

at least they should be able to overhaul their line in the transfer market in January because indeed they have to be able to survive in the highest caste because it is not funny that a team as strong as newcastle in financial terms has to struggle in the second tier.

They are preparing to bring in several players at the moment and of course with a tempting offer

Haaland going to real would be a bit of a tricky situation but not impossible neither. Real is looking to unload some players and if they can achieve that this means they will have space to get Haaland. They are famously looking to acquire Mbappe, if they get Mbappe then it will be very difficult to get Haaland together, not impossible, in fact if it was just up to them then they would get them both without a problem at all.

They have so much money that they could literally get both of them and get another superstar just for the fun of it, but there is a salary cap in place at La Liga which means that they need to be very careful about who they get and who they are paying.

If they get both of them and that covers 50%+ of the whole salary cap, then who are they going to fill the other 9 positions? What about the bench and the extras? I mean sure they could get a few players for just a million or two each, but that can't be the main core, so the other 9 players will need to be like 100 million a year, and that can be done but will be very tough to fill the bench after that and so forth. Which is why I believe if Madrid gets Mbappe, they will not try to get Haaland with him together.

Erling Haaland already has a release clause which is worth around €75m according to I have heard. If this is really true, then Real Madrid would be able to make the necessary offer very easily I guess. Because they are a very rich club and I've no doubt that they have enough funds to be able to sign him. They are after Kylian Mbappe too but they are going to be able to sign him without paying any transfer fee. So this could mean that they can afford both of them.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/17007589/newcastle-lingard-transfer-man-utd/

According to this news, Newcastle are aiming to sign the 28-year-old Manchester United attacking midfielder Jesse Lingard. So far, we haven't seen him playing very effective at Manchester United. He was loaned to West Ham last season and his performance was just great. He scored 9 goals and got 5 assists in the PL. This shows that Lingard is playing more freely and better at smaller clubs I think. And he may be a nice choice for Newcastle in the coming transfer window.

Is this deal planned by current owner or new Saudi owners? The new owners will definitely plan something bigger if they want to take the club to the top. Lingard was just an average midfielder in MU AFAIK. If he is a great player for smaller clubs then New Castle United is the place for him.

If the "blue garnet" cannot agree with the "townspeople", they will buy another player.

It is important to understand that Barcelona are not having their best period right now. First of all, this is due to the financial problems of the club, because because of them the team cannot afford a decent strengthening.

Recently, the media reported that the "blue garnet" are trying to negotiate with Manchester City on the transfer of Ferran Torres. “Citizens” want to make at least 60 million euros on the deal, which is quite an unaffordable amount for Barcelona.

The publication Sport reports that the Catalans know who to replace Torres, if an agreement with City fails. According to the source, the Catalans will try to sign Anthony Martial of Manchester United.

What you're saying makes sense, I was too quick to conclude that Hazard doesn't fit in with La Liga. It's possible that Hazard just doesn't suit
Real Madrid's style of play, but he could have played well when playing for another La Liga team. We'll never know, unless Hazard's new team is
a fellow La Liga team, but I doubt any La Liga team would be interested in buying Hazard.

It is true that Newcastle are one of the Premier League teams who are interested in buying Hazard, with the financial strength that Newcastle has,
it will not be too difficult to agree to the asking price that Real Madrid wants. The problem is I doubt Hazard wants to play at Newcastle, because
we know that the possibility of Newcastle being relegated is very high. Apart from West Ham and Newcastle, it is reported that Everton and Chelsea
are also interested in buying Hazard. I really hope Hazard can leave Real Madrid soon, which team Hazard chooses doesn't matter, because if he stays
at Real Madrid for too long, Hazard's future will be ruined.
Under Carlo Ancelotti Hazard was not an important player or part of his strategy with Madrid, this season Hazard has rarely started and has been a substitute. The pretty good performance shown by Vinicius Jr made Hazard's position even more marginalized at Madrid and he was rumored to be moving to West Ham United, I think the right choice for Hazard to move in the January transfer window and have the chance to play in the world cup with Belgium.

I agree it looks like Ancelotti doesn't really believe in Hazard's abilities, because so far Hazard has been a substitute more often. If Hazard rarely
give playing time, it will be difficult for Hazard to find his best form. Like I said before, staying at Real Madrid for too long will destroy his career
as a footballer. Moreover, Hazard is already 30 years old, so his time as a professional player is coming to an end. Therefore, Hazard should be able
to move in the January transfer window, choose a team that can guarantee playing time.
