Rodrygo should be very careful if he considers joining Manchester City. They are facing 115 charges for fijancial irregularities aka cheating.

I don’t think he would like to sign for a club that then gets relegated multiple divisions as punishment.
You and i know City would never face such punishment and it is nothing but "charges" for now, let the EPL prove their case if they are so sure City committed these offences. This case has dragged on for so long, and i hope we get a verdict this year.

I understand how Arsenal and Liverpool fans feel anyway, there is almost no way to stop City, so better to hope they get punished or are found guilty, which i don't think will happen.

It's a big pill to swallow for Manchester City until now and maybe public pressure and pressure from within the Premier League might lead to a conviction this time. So far I was pretty sure Manchester City would get away with it as the most important representative from the Premier League in the Champions League. But pressure might be mounting this time. Still wondering though whether other clubs are having a sweat, too as that might get the ball rolling. Manchester City might not be the only club that is facing charges.

But 115 charges is quite the number. Realistically, it would be impossible to see how someone facing 115 charges would get away with zero convictions in the end. 115 is just too much to not be true at all.

Tottenham is about to complete Dominic Solanke deal. But for a huge amount like £65m.  Shocked

https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1821937036237935008

I mean he had a great season the last time. 19 goals in the PL. Pretty good work! But do you think he is really worth that much? It looks like Bournemouth officials will be very satisfied with this deal considering they bought him for an amount like £18m.  Smiley  I don't know if Solanke can make an impact like Kane. But he doesn't have to play at that level. Even if he maintains the last season productivity, it would be great for Tottenham.
It's clear that Tottenham desperately need a striker since Richarlison performance wasn't good enough, played 66 matches and only scored 15 goals. Postecoglou has tried to rotate some of the players to fill striker position, it starts from Son, Kulusevski, and Johnson, but the result is nothing different.

Although Dominic Solanke didn't qualified for England senior team, but he can compete with other England teams.
This is a very good signing for Tottenham. We witnessed his resurgence last season in the EPL and it was evident that a top club was coming for him. I think if he can replicate his last season form, then it’ll be a banger.

Tottenham have some creative players in Maddison, Klulusevski, Johnson, Pedro Porro and Son. He’s a type of striker that loves running around the box, so with the way Tottenham set up, I expect a lot of goals this season. They’ve been playing without a Central striker since Harry Kane left for Bayern Munich so Solanke would be expected to lead the line.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Koopmeiners is now 1 step close in to joining Juventus.
The official bid from them to atalanta is set to 50+5€ in addons.

If they player will come to Turin, Juventus will maybe have the best midfield in Italy but they will lack in attack

Thuram - Luiz - Koop is a very strong starter.

I don't understand what Chelsea's current way of thinking is towards the player purchases they make, because they are like fomo and like feeling something is missing when they don't bring in players.
Currently, there are rumors that Chelsea have agreed to bring Mike Penders, who is a goalkeeper with a price tag of 17 million.

Well, this is absolutely crazy and stupid at the same time, because the hierarchy of Chelsea football club don't even know what they are doing, they are just busy assembling bunch of average players into the team and by doing so, they are practically turning the team into an average team, ok let's look at how Chelsea have been since Todd boehly and co took over the club, with the kind of players he is signing into the club, I don't see Chelsea winning anything tangible in the next ten years, unless this clown of a club own keeps off from the day to day running of the club, because from what I have seen so far, and with the kind of stupid decisions being taken daily,  I think they are gradually establishing themselves as a mid table team, because they can't be assembling bunch of kids and be expecting to achieve anything tangible with them, so in essence of what am trying to say is that until Todd boehly and co remove their filthy hands from the day to day running of Chelsea football club, Chelsea football club will keeps on struggling under his reign.
I don't know what the right sentence is to describe Chelsea situation this season because their actions have gone beyond the limit. In my opinion, Chelsea player purchases are more than enough, even all the available players will not all play in one full season. What kind of rotation does Chelsea really want. Plus Enzo Maresca must be very stressed managing more than 44 players and must be able to find the right criteria to go through the EPL season. Todd Boehly thinks this is still lacking and I suspect this player purchase will continue to increase.
Right from the very first decision of overhauling the team on arrival I knew there was going to be problem. However, Todd Boehly is not really whom I blame for whatever may be-fall Chelsea FC in the coming years whether they turn mid-table team or get relegated to the championship ranks, this is what England and the premiership management had wanted from the very moment they had to deny Roman Abramovich a further ownership of the club, a man who was passionate about the club, for him it wasn't business as usual but rather towards trophy winning. Most of the players in Chelsea now won't have to see a shirt in the team in the reign of Roman Abramovich  because he is always after class and not average players like I see Chelsea today. I wonder how the club legends would be feeling seeing the set of players that plays in Chelsea's first team today.

Rodrygo only praises the Manchester City team but he will not join he prefers Real Madrid because it is better there and not necessarily the same in Manchester City.
Imagine if the 115 demands are true it will drop drastically to the lowest division all the valuable players will not be happy and they will definitely leave.
Until when will this lawsuit be completed?
Everything seems easier to achieve when deciding to stay with Real Madrid, although moving to Manchester City is not a bad option. Rodrygo position in Real Madrid front line will not be replaced, although Ancelotti now has several other options in the team. Pep Guardiola is indeed looking for a coating for Halaand, because they have released Julian Alvarez to Atletico Madrid. But Rodrygo is too luxurious to just be a replacement, and it is not certain that Real Madrid will want to let go of the Brazilian player. Real Madrid has stable finances, so they don't have to let go of their key players to get benefits. Unless Real Madrid wants to streamline their front line, then push Rodrygo out of Santiago Bernabeu. All players have ambitions to play in the Premier League, including Rodrygo, although the opportunity is very open, I don't think Rodrygo will leave Real Madrid in this transfer market. So far, the allegations of FFP violations against Pep Guardiola squad have not been proven, so it is still very safe to join in Etihad.

The riddle about Matthijs de Ligt seems to be starting to unfold. Sky Sport reports that Man United agreed to a price of €50 million. Reportedly in these 24 hours Matthijs de Ligt will undergo medical tests. Of course, this is also an anticipation so that Matthijs de Ligt can be registered before the closing of player registration on Thursday. It seems that de Ligt could be a helper for Yoro who was injured. Then another news is that Aaron Wan-Bissaka will go to West Ham.

Just confirming this on Fabrizio's X handle and I couldn't help but smile at the awesome move by and effort Ten hag has been making thoughout this transfer window to bring in great minds into his Manchester united team.  Matthijs de Ligt seem to be one of the best central back in the Germans bundlesliga with lot of experience and it's with no doubt he going to cook in the defense at Manchester united adding some improvement to that position. In as much as am no UTD fans I still can't wait to see Ten hag succeed this season with all the new signings he has been able to bring to Old Trafford.

The two Bayern Munich players have agreed all to 70 million plus additional bonuses, so Manchester United made two signings at once because they probably knew that Aaron Wan-Bissaka left so the replacement was still there, there was no need to look again.

After this recruitment I think Manchester United's back line squad will not be weak anymore because they have added some of them, so they can be confident to start a new season for the Red Devils.

Real Madrid is not opening the door for him to leave. Madrid rejected a lucrative offer for him from Liverpool. I don't think City will be crazy enough to bid higher than Liverpool's offer. City's punishment is likely to prevent him from leaving Madrid.

I'm sure Rodrygo will stay. I can't imagine. If Rodrygo moves there, City will get relegated for breaching PSR rules over a hundred times. That's gonna be crazy. Rodrygo goes from Hero to Zero.

We recently saw some news about Rodrygo the player of Real Madrid moving to Manchester City. Rodrygo is instead to Manchester City and he would like to start playing there maybe that's because of Pep Guardiola working there.
Even a few months ago, Rodrygo started talking about Manchester City and he said Manchester City is the best team in the world. This made us think Rodrygo is interested in playing for Manchester City soon. But he recently said he won't leave Real Madrid and he prefers to stay in Real Madrid for a longer time even if Guadiola calls him.

The story isn't clear as it is and by now I saw this kind of move like Rodrygo would look for a way to leave Madrid because the Mbappe move made things to turn around for the player Rodrygo. A good player that wants enough playing time doesn't need to be in the bench and it would have been better to join the Citizens because he would get more game time but I can't tell if he's even sure of leaving the 15x champions league winners, if he stays I don't see him having that energy of last season, without any doubt I think this player might force his way out from Madrid at time soon.

Just because we have Mbappé came to Real Madrid, and you believed that if Rodrygo will be benched. Rodrygo is a very important player of Real Madrid, and he was also very well developed by the club. Manchester City's offer for him won't work.

Liverpool had ever sent him an offer, but Madrid and Rodrygo rejected it. Also, his versatility gave Real Madrid more advantage.

Even if City offers Madrid 150 million, it's unlikely they'll accept. It's a degradation for Rodrygo's career if he goes to City.

I think Manchester United is doing the right thing by signing him because last year they seemed to have serious problems in the defensive area. This year De Ligt will bring some order to that area. They have quality players in the attacking side and maybe if another defender joins Manchester United they will look like a stronger and more prepared team this year.

After going through a fairly complicated round, it is now certain that Manchester United will bring in De Ligt from Bayern Munich. Smiley

The details are as seen in the picture where Manchester United will pay 45m euros plus 5m euros add ons and this makes it one of the most expensive recruits this summer. Manchester United are required to bring in a new center back considering that Leny Yoro is certain to be absent for a very long time and this could be a solution to overcome the defense line.

In addition, this will also be a reunion for Erik ten Hag and his former player who also used to defend Ajax and it is hoped that after this Manchester United can advance without experiencing other obstacles.
For real though, after getting the deals for Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro done, Manchester United had been quiet in the transfer window, reading this update brought peace to my heart because I have been worried about the season ahead.
No, the initial plan has always been to bring in two solid defenders, not because of the Injured Leny Yoro. All I'm praying/ hoping, is for de Ligt to give Manchester United solid defending duties for three months consistently before Leny Yoro jumps back in fully fit with the squad.

de Ligt knows the manager well, the project and having Lisandro Martinez andAntony will definitely help de Ligt settle in and prepare for the great season ahead. Mazraoui also has been added. I see the plans of Erik Ten Hag to make use of both Mazraoui and Dalot as fullbacks.
One more addition I'm keen to see happening would be that of a new defensive midfielder. I don't trust Casemiro like I did during his first season. Getting Top Four should be the long goal for United this season.

Manchester United definitely brought in a very good player. And I believe he is going to be very useful for Manchester United. Manchester United is actually pretty lucky in my opinion. Because this is a time when Manchester United not being able to convince a lot of players to actually join their club. and under the situation, they have actually got a very good player to join their club and they should make sure that they are able to use the player properly.

The coach has previously worked with this player. So probably it is not going to be a big problem for the coach to properly use this player. But many people thought the same thing about Antony.

I don’t think this is going to end the struggle of Manchester United. But it will probably be a little less.

Manchester United's de Ligt signing is smart. Very smart. 50 million euros? Thats cheap for a player like him. With Yoro out, they needed someone to step up, and de Ligt has the expertise.

He's played under Ten Hag at Ajax and knows his system and expectations. He played for Bayern Munich, a world-class club. He's genuine.

Imagine de Ligt, Martinez, and possibly Mazraoui. All Ten Hag guys know his style. That defense will be solid. Remember their Community Shield performance versus City? Imagine adding de Ligt.

This isnt merely a good season. This is about challenging for the title and possibly reaching the Champions League final. However Ten Hag is green and has a lot of football to play. We'll see what happens. I enjoy United's performance so far. They're winning by making the proper moves.

After having explored various elite European leagues, now Alexis Sanchez has returned to his first club in Europe, where he previously played for during the 2006-2011 period. Alexis Sanchez rejoined Udinese after his contract expired with Inter Milan, signing a two-year deal until June 30, 2026. He is still able to compete at a high level even though he is already 35 years old, Udinese is also very lucky to be able to bring back their former player for free after strengthening a different club in a different League. Now he has returned home, maybe he will also retire there after his contract ends.
Alexis Sanchez's performance is definitely not as good as before due to his age, which can be said to be no longer young, but his playing ability is still worthy of being brought back by Udinese. Now he will play two seasons there and if you look at Serie A, I am sure he will adapt easily because he already understands the pattern of play in that league. But to increase competition, perhaps Udinese needs to look at other players as competitors for Alexis Sanchez so that they can play alternately when needed.

Two seasons were enough for him to make the decision to retire, but if there is another offer as a definite step I am sure he will accept it. Now going to the Saudi Arabian League is a dream for some players who have entered old age because there they can make enough money and the clubs there are also able to provide large salaries to any player they want.

If it was the infinite money cheat only, then something's utterly wrong with Chelsea. Correct me if I am wrong, but there is a number of teams in the Premier League that has spent far more than Manchester City in the last five years or so. But I am not sure though and sources differ, I am only certain that if the money hack were to be true automatically, Chelsea should be in front of Manchester City almost every single season for several years now. Manchester United also had record spending in one of the last few seasons.
It was not cheating. But, like Chelsea, the club abused a loophole in the PSR rules. I remind you that if when you buy a player, then the cost  of transfer is spread over the length of the contract. Also, when you are able to sell a player, then it's counted as immediate profit for that year's accounts. So, when Chelsea buys Jorgensen for 20 million with a 7-year contract, then it must be like 20/7. But when they sold Maatsen for 35m, and it's immediate profit for Chelsea.

You didn't understand what KTChampions was referring to when he talked about the "infinite money cheat". He didn't literally mean that any team with a lot of money cheated. He meant that in comparison to other teams, those with sheikhs backing them have essentially a "money cheat" and can base their success on unlimited resources. I contradicted and said if it was that easy, Chelsea should have won several titles by now. PSG should have probably won the Champions League.

I am fully aware of the accounting trick that Chelsea applied, but this is not what KTChampions was talking about. That would have actually been available to any club, but Chelsea was the first to exploit it that way.

West Ham seems to have successfully hijacked the transfer of defender Todibo from Nice to Juventus. According to reports, the player has said yes to West Ham after Juventus failed to find an agreement with Nice for weeks. It seems that the two clubs agreed on the transfer fees and bonuses but Nice insisted on a higher sale percentage than Juventus initially wanted to offer. West Ham came in at the last moment and accepted West Ham's terms. After Calafiori (who signed for Arsenal), this is now the second defender that Juventus will miss out on due to overcomplicating things.

Quote
West Ham have completed a loan deal with Nice for Jean-Clair Todibo with an option to buy;
he is the Hammers' seventh summer signing; Juventus had been unable to reach agreement with Nice
Source: Sky Sports

Well, Juventus was negotiating a little too much, and West Ham to advantage of that situation. But I also understand why Juventus was negotiating so much. They need to save as much money as they can. But at what cost did they do this? Juventus needed to make their defending lineup strong. But it seems like they are missing out on defenders one after another. That is a problem when you try to negotiate so much. There is always a chance of you missing out on the player that you actually want. I wonder now which player is going to be the target of Juventus. And will they be actually able to use that player properly when they eventually get him? Because he wouldn’t be the first choice of Juventus for sure.

Alexis Sanchez is now 35 years old, he is an experienced player and has felt the atmosphere of playing in the big leagues, the English League, La Liga and Serie A. Now he will return to Udinese as his first club to carve out his career. It seems that there is a plan for him to retire at Udinese if he can show good play and the duration of the contract is extended by Udinese or with the contract he has now signed will be the last contract in his career and he will decide to retire.

Udinese's performance last season was not good, so it is hoped that the presence of Alexis Sanchez in the squad will help Udinese a lot to be able to play better and compete in the competition. His experience will be greatly expected to bring fresh air to other players, because apart from the game, experience will also be an important factor that can be applied in a club's playing pattern.

Pepe was definitely one of the most known defenders of his era, he was known a bit about his aggressive nature and between him and Ramos, they built one of the most hated defences in history probably because of the way they handled all of this, that seems like a big deal. I know that it is not going to end up being that easy to handle, but we are talking about something that will take a lot of issues about it because that's how they played and they still won so much together.

I believe that he had a good career, and he won a lot, and he earned a lot and that's all a player can hope for. Glad that he finally decided to hang the boots, lets see what his future is looking like, he didn't look much like a manager to me, so I wonder what he will do.
