I am also surprise at reported transfer fee for Dominic Solanke. While he had breakout season last year I do not think his past performances warrant price tag over £50M. Solanke has shown promise but he is not yet proven goal scorer and his track record does not justify such high valuation. That being said Tottenham management must see something in him that they believe will make significant impact on their team. I hope for their sake that Solanke lives up to expectations and delivers in ground making investment worthwhile.
In this season transfer market, Spurs are not very active in hunting players, but once they are active they make reckless purchases by spending more than 50 million just to bring in Solanke. I don't care if his statistics are good because he collected 19 goals with Bournemouth. Spurs are one of the clubs that are monotonous and stingy about transfer fees, maybe this time they are a little jealous seeing other clubs active in the market and trying to add new strength. What is clear is that I will not expect much from Dominic Solanke move to Spurs.

I dont think Guardiola can decide a lot in the current situation.
Besides the fact that Manchester city is still under investigation for the Financial fair play violation, he is expected to leave the club at the end of the year as he said.
Guardiola contract will end next season but he said that he is not leaving the club since the management have decided to extend his contract. This is why he will stay because he still loves to coach in City.

The club needs him just like he needs them too and since he is not retiring from coaching, he will definitely enjoy coaching his team which he has built. I don't know how he will face the charge on him for financial fair play violation.
Though even the best have to change, Pep is a fantastic manager; with these FFP issues hovering over City, Pep has to make a decision.

Staying at City is a risk. Should such charges be valid, there might be anarchy. Pep prefers consistency and a stage on which to grow. Like England, national team employment offers that. Different challenge, perhaps, but perhaps after all these years at the pinnacle of the club game he needs something like this.

Thats wise; he isnt rushing toward anything. Pep has always been measured, considers his alternatives. This gives the entire dish some of the kick. Whichever he decides upon, it will be fascinating to see. The man's a winner, and winners always find a way.

Bryan Zaragoza the palyer of Bayern Munich officaly jonied Osasuna and he is gongito paly there for loan while I think Zaragoza c0uld have better options. But duringthe time when Tuchel was working in Bayern mUnich Zaragoza couldn't make Tuchel to let him paly and he was out of the team but even after Tuchel left the team Kompaney starte working there still Zaragoza coludn't make Kompaney to use this palyer nad it seems Bayern Munich still won't need Zaragoza in the team.
That's why Zaragoza is goingto paly for Osasuna while inthe last season he was palyfor Girona.

Manchester United is still looking for a new CB. They are just so unlucky with Leny Yoro. Only like 10 days after they signed him, he got injured and he isn't expected to return in less than three months.  Sad

Branthwaite and de Ligt are still the names stepping forward. I have heard they are still pushing for a de Ligt + Mazraoui deal as well. It would be better honestly. Mazraoui would be better than Dalot and Wan-Bissaka both.

Sancho still remains. They say he has rejected PSG. I hope he finds himself a new team as there is no future for him there. I wonder who will be playing beside Mainoo in central midfield this season too.  Huh

I’ve not heard any recent news about Merino to Arsenal. This guy is someone I’d like Arsenal to get. They should have been done with this deal by now. At first I had my doubts about this Merino guy. I was not sure he’ll raise Arsenal’s levels by much. My only conviction was that I trust Arteta and I want to believe he knows what he’s doing.

There were signings I didn’t support that have come good - Ramsdale, Ben White, Kai Havertz. I hope this one comes good too.
Xhaka wasn't a world beater. But what he knew how to do, he did EXCEPTIONALLY well. If Merino can bring that, with professionalism, and the industry of rice and Odegaard in the midfield, they will be okay.
The latest report that I have heard about Mikel Merino is that Arsenal have already agreed a fee of £17million with his club Real Sociedad, and that it just remains the final details to be agreed on, but he is expected in Arsenal for medicals shortly.

£17million for a player like Mikel Merino is a very good business for Arsenal.

news

With Mikel Merino, Kia Havertz will have to work extra to keep his first team position.
Arsenal fans will be expecting Gyokores next.

Finally Pepe has been give up that at 41 years old he finally decided to retire from football apparently Euro Cup was became an his last appearance for big tournament and this is so special for Pepe because at his age Pepe can playing well with Portugal and can guarded Portugal defensive lines with very well too

Pepe is Real Madrid legend because he spend over than 11 years with this team from 2007 to 2018 and his duet with Sergio Ramos has been help Real Madrid to gets plenty of trophies and one of them is Champion League trophy and with Real Madrid Pepe was playing 252 matches

My agressive style of play has got to be from the likes of this legend ( Pepe ) and ( Sergio Ramos ). I will never forget how the both of them bullied Diego Costa and also Lionel Messi on the pitch.
He was just not great for Real Madrid alone during his playing days but also did for both Club and Country. Finally, his hard work paid off and was seen as one of the best defenders during the recently ended Euros Championship.
pep was indeed a true legend in the world of football. He is one player that did too well throughout his prime and even when he approached the age of retirement, his passion was still top-notch. I knew he had plans of retiring after the euros when he cried seriously after they lost against france at the Euros quarter finals. Time is really running too fast and gradually, most of our top legend are gradually exiting our screen and a new era has fully began for us to embrace the generation that's coming. The likes of musiala, yamal, Kobbie Mainoo, Cole plamer, Jude Bellingham, foden and saka will now stand as the face of football the younger generation will be left to look up to.

As expected, I know that Tottenham will be the best to Dominic Solanke because the player will be well valued there and will surely get enough playing time than if he joins Arsenal because Arsenal will play Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz ahead of him; while he will have time to play in Tottenham because since Harry Kane left, they are struggling for a reliable top 9 to replace Kane because Richarlson is not playing well as expected since he is not competitive enough to score above 15 goals a season in the Premier League.
While I agree that he is a decent player, I am not entirely sure that I believe he is THAT good, like not 65 million worth player, we are talking about a huge huge price there and the fact that they are willing to spend this much on the player shows that they are not just buying him for what he is today, but they are buying him for what he could be, he is not that old and if he shows himself to be a great player, then the price will be worth it.

However, for that kind of money, he needs to provide something huge for the team and do a lot better, like actually be invaluable to the club and do something huge, they can't just end up being "decent" level player, he needs to be a star in that club if he actually deserves that kind of amount.

If you look at football now, sometimes it is confusing because the price for a player can change so quickly and maybe if you look at the quality and experience, the price could be said to be too high or too low. But the price of £50 million is not too high and in my opinion it is quite commensurate with the quality even though if you look at the quality of scoring goals, it is still less than other strikers.

Sometimes coaches also have an impact on players and it depends on how they can utilize the players' skills. Solanke needs to prove his best quality because perhaps his performance was not so consistent last season so this season will be a good start for him to develop further.

I'm loving the Solanke move to Tottenham Hotspur, they'll try to fight to win a trophy this season. Will he be the right Harry Kane replacement? No! But Goodluck to him.

I stand with Palestine.
Last season in the English Premier League, Dominic Solanke had his best campaign in the league so I was expecting one of the top  clubs in the league to come for his services but looking at your report regarding his the amount Tottenham are about to pay Bournemouth to secure the services of Solanke, I personally feel that the price is outrageous. I know Solanke right from his days as a Chelsea player and even when he was at Liverpool till last season that he had his breakthrough season and never has he shown enough result to be considered a striker that should cost past £50m. However, Tottenham Hotspur management knows how important he is to their plans for next season and I hope Solanke delivers for them.

Chelsea has been actively scouting for players in an ever increasing pace in preparation for the coming season and they've agreed  on a deal to sign Pedro Neto on €63m deal from Wolves

According to Fabrizio Romano,Official bid has been accepted… as final package will be worth €60m fixed fee plus €3m add-ons,

Pedro Neto already agreed on personal terms as his agent J. Mendes got deal done with Chelsea today.

👀 Wolves want Carlos Forbes from Ajax to replace Pedro Neto… who’s set to travel to London today.
Medical tests for Pedro have been already booked.
source: Fabrizio Romano.

I can't believe it, how many players have been recruited by Chelsea so far? Are they planning to have two or more teams in the same club? Pedro Neto is an injury-prone player, and it is also a giant red flag for him. I don't know why Chelsea was recruiting him from Wolves. This recruitment is not that bad, but it's not that good as well.
The only problem is that if Chelsea recruits him with an expensive fee, which is around 60m. It's too expensive for a player with injury concerns. He hasn't done much to warrant it, and we have a surplus of players at his position.

It's weird how this team recruits anyone. There were no PSR rules to limit them. Chelsea is buying like it’s Black Friday! And selling no one!! I'm sure FA's eyes are on Chelsea now.

Dominic Solanke has developed into a very good striker over the years and last season we saw how he was a excellent and scored a whopping 19 league goals. He is going to be the most expensive player that’ the Bounrnemoth club has aver sold and also the most expensive player they the Tottenham club had bought. It the amount with the way players price are easily been inflated Solanke for $60m isn’t just off it. Moreover I trust the director for Tottenham Levy on how he signs players I know that was the best deal he could ever get for the player.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
I dont think Guardiola can decide a lot in the current situation.
Besides the fact that Manchester city is still under investigation for the Financial fair play violation, he is expected to leave the club at the end of the year as he said.
Guardiola contract will end next season but he said that he is not leaving the club since the management have decided to extend his contract. This is why he will stay because he still loves to coach in City.

The club needs him just like he needs them too and since he is not retiring from coaching, he will definitely enjoy coaching his team which he has built. I don't know how he will face the charge on him for financial fair play violation.
The FA Federation is also waiting for Pep Guirdiola until next season to get him so that he can train the England national team that is expected, this is a rumor after Southgate resigned from his coaching, of course this is not certain which one he will keep whether at the Man City club or take a job with the England national team.

Financial fair play violations then the club will be punished, while Pep Guardiola can think of another job because it is clear that the charges according to news sources are many demands faced by Man City at this time.

The PFF case will be long unfinished, whether it will be proven or not.

I don't know which one will happen but I think Chelsea wants some titles or results, not money because they already have the money. Whoever is the person in charge of these transfers, that person isn't someone who is looking to get results today, it's someone who looks to be good,, even great in the future. That is why this isn't really a bad idea, it's good for their future and I believe that they are going to get a good result one way or another, should be a good thing eventually for sure.

The problem with this type of strategy is that all these young players they are buying are not players who can give a 100% guarantee that they will play well in the Premier League and for Chelsea in the future. When you think too much about the future like this, you end up making serious mistakes, such as having a young and weak team. We saw this with Barcelona, who wanted to rejuvenate the team and removed the old players by putting in young players, but this destroyed the team. All teams need to focus more on the present. If Chelsea really wanted to win titles, then they would focus on signing good players with the clear objective of winning titles now, and as time goes by, they buy younger players each season, something like buying 1 young player each season.

see for example this case:

Gabriel Slonina has signed in as new Barsnley player on loan from Chelsea.

No buy option clause included in the deal.

source: https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1821984349173977219

He is 20 years old, if Chelsea's intention is to have a very young squad, then why are they putting Gabriel Slonina out on loan? It seems to me that Chelsea's management doesn't have a big plan, they make decisions randomly. And once again Chelsea made another signing, they signed Pedro Neto, who is 24 years old and is a striker. In this transfer window, Chelsea surpassed all teams in terms of the number of players they signed, but the question I ask myself:

Have all these signings that Chelsea made in this transfer window turned Chelsea into a team capable of winning the Premier League?

Tottenham is about to complete Dominic Solanke deal. But for a huge amount like £65m.  Shocked

I mean he had a great season the last time. 19 goals in the PL. Pretty good work! But do you think he is really worth that much? It looks like Bournemouth officials will be very satisfied with this deal considering they bought him for an amount like £18m.  Smiley  I don't know if Solanke can make an impact like Kane. But he doesn't have to play at that level. Even if he maintains the last season productivity, it would be great for Tottenham.

I didn't even know Fiorentina was interested in De Gea.  Grin  I only heard about Genoa but they gave up on the transfer after so-called high salary demand. I wonder how much he wanted from them.

Anyways, this is going to be the first time in his career to play in the Serie A. He started his career at Atletico Madrid but his whole career continued at Manchester United. Having some change might be nice maybe. He is 33 years old. I don't believe it is too much considering he is a goalkeeper. The only thing I'm curious about is how good he will perform. He hasn't been playing football for more than a year. I hope he adapts quickly again.  Roll Eyes

Now David de Gea officially plays for Fiorentina I have checked it on transfermarkt, David de Gea seems confident that he still has the ability that's why he asked for a high salary and without a club for a season doesn't mean not playing at all of course he remains active in personal training sessions unless he decides to retire he probably won't do much. Previously after Genoa there was another club from La Liga that was interested in him but for some reason he prefers Fiorentina yeah maybe because the salary is 3 million per season.
De Gea is a very high quality goalkeeper, there is no doubt about that, but he has been away from football for 1 year. This is a disadvantage for him. I think his salary is also high accordingly. Fiorentina must have great confidence in his abilities. I hope they will not regret this choice. I am sure that he will make important contributions when he fixes his deficiencies in Fiorentina after a while.
I admit De Gea has high productivity, but that was in the past. And now, he has not had it all since leaving Man United. From here we can see that if De Gea still has a good appearance, Man United will definitely not let him go and I was also a little surprised at that time De Gea was still enthusiastic and said that if a European team recruited him, he was willing to get a small salary as long as he did not leave the European team. But after another team made an offer, he demanded a very high salary.

Well, hopefully Fiorentina already knows why De Gea left the EPL team and De Gea should not disappoint his current team and give maximum contribution.

Spurs have not signed a quality striker since Harry Kane moved to Bayern Munich last summer. They put their faith in Richarlison and Son Heung-min but these two are not enough. That's why coach Postecoglou wants a number 9 player that suits his playing style. And Solanke's profile fits the team's needs. Solanke is very familiar with the Premier League, Solanke could prove to be a game-changing addition for Spurs as they aim to return to the top four this season. Solanke will be Tottenham's fourth new signing this summer after Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall and Yang Min-hyuk.

And I think Tottenham should sell Richarlison this summer to raise funds for this expensive signing.
