Probably the closest one is Conte, he has already given some indications that he is interested in the job. and he is best for the current situation to raise a team in a short time and make some instant results.
In a long term, Ten Hag is also an option. Probably the best choice currently, but he is taken, and it's not realistic to expect to resign at the current club, where everything is going well, and to accept such a demanding job.

Exactly what I had wanted to say, the coach had had enough time to Proof himself but all to know avail and I don't think giving him more chance will do more harm to the club that good if care and urgent action is not taking. I don't care whoever will replace but just need to go and let the new man try his best let see if their best will be enough.

Rooney was one of the best player who have ever played for Manchester United but his managerial career is not proven yet. Look at how Derby Country perform this season, they are on the bottom standing table right now. It will be a huge gambling if Manchester United choose Rooney as the next manager (in case of get sacked).

Perhaps you mean the upcoming matches against Tottenham and City? I would be glad to be wrong, but I doubt that United will be able to take at least 3 point in these two games. If the match with Tottenham looks random, then with City it seems that everything is a foregone conclusion. What do you think, if United win against Tottenham but lose to City, would that be enough to keep Solskjaer at the helm?
