The head coach of Real Madrid Carlo Ancelotti has asked the club's management to return Sergio Regilon, according to The Mirror.
Recall that last summer, the "cream" sold the player to Tottenham for 30 million euros. According to the source, the Royal Club can take advantage of the buyback option for 45 million euros.
It is worth noting that Regilon quickly became a key player in the London team and has not yet missed a single Spurs match.

@kassex considering the good work Ancelotti been doing this season, I wouldn’t be surprised if Real Madrid accepted his wishes and got Regilon back to the club. Also is no one here puzzled what’s happening with Van De Beek, because I’m livid at his condition and Manchester United should sell him and end his nightmare.

Sterling is a player I thought Mikel Arteta would rush to sign from City, because the player does not deserve to be benched at the club,he needs to be given more time on the ball to show his quality.I wonder why Pep does not play him, because in my opinion,he is even more better than Grealish.

I think he lost his touch and its hard to keep your place inside the team. City have lot of attacking players and Guardiola prefers adaptability or maybe perhaps strategy and hence sometimes plays midfield players in attack. With that it is hard to keep up the place with the form he has been putting.

Pep is very keen on keeping his strategy and maintaining it throughout the season. But I personally feel like Sterling is a better player than Grealish. He has pace, he can dribble well, and overall very good. But maybe Pep saw something in him that he didn't like but I'm not sure. But I prefer playing Sterling over others. Benching him is a waste of talent. If Pep doesn't want to play him, maybe he should sell him. As a lot of teams would be interested in him.

100% true, it is really a waste. If I were him I would probably leave the club. Sterling is definitely fun to watch and there is no doubt about that I guess.
Grealish is a very different type of player. Not to compare him to Khedira, but it kind of reminds me of the time when Mourinho always let Khedira play. In my opinion Khedira really sucks, but obviously Mourinho had a very different opinion about him. I'd still stick to my guns and say that Khedira sucked hard, but who cares about my opinion anyway! Cheesy
I think in terms of the transfer fee Grealish is overrated.

The Frenchman is seriously considering the option of extending the contract

This will not be an ordinary contract extension, the head of Qatar, Emir of Qatar, really wants PSG forward Kilian Mbappé to stay at the club during the World Cup, which will be held in this country from November to December 2022.

The contract with the Frenchman can be extended by just one season. If the deal goes through, Real Madrid will get Mbappe for free, but after a year as Emir wants Lionel Messi, Neymar and Mbappe to headline the Paris squad. To convince Kilian to stay, PSG will guarantee him the opportunity to leave the club a year later than planned.

The parties will sign a new contract, according to which the forward will become the highest paid player in the club, surpassing even Messi. According to Todofichajes, this figure will be around 45 million per season.

The bad news for Real is that the club will have to wait another year or look for another player.

https://www.readfootball.com/pszh-mozhet-prodlit-kontrakt-s-mbappe-na-1-sezon-244181.html

The $ 45 million in salary does not seem like a lot for Real when they were willing to pay $ 220 million just to buy Mbappe. Taking into account the savings (Real Madrid will get Mbappe for free), Real can pay this money (45 million) as a one-time gift (in addition to the main salary) and still be in profit.

That was how they let Sane leave too,a player that had so much qualities.Mancity needs to constantly play Sterling to keep his mind at the club, because I believe right now,he might be feeling not wanted by the club which is bad.

That was not why let Sane leave. Sane actually wanted to make a switch to german league and Bayern were also interested in him. With his contract about to end, City did offered him contract extension but it was denied by him and City had nothing option but to accept Bayern bid offer in order to save the amount if they would have let him go for free.

Sane never felt not being wanted. He was injured and hence was unable to play just some gameweeks before the transfer.

Sterling should have been sold years ago, or at least sent on a loan which would be a little bad for him since he believes he is a player who should be wanted and bought and played at starting eleven, instead of feel like surplus and sent on a loan.

But anything would have been better than getting him, playing him for a while, get a better alternative on him, then bench him. Dude should be released, sold, loaned or basically any other method where he could be sent away. He deserves to play, he may not be as good as Jack grealish or any other alternatives, but he is definitely not bench material neither, it may look like that on City but there are 10k+ teams in all around the world that would start him, and at least 10-15 teams that could pay his salary and pay his transfer fee and get him and start him as well. So, it is not like he has no option, it is just that City doesn't let him go but still doesn't play him neither.

Well, he's English - that increases his value by that 20 mil for sure. He's still in his best years, he's still a great player, I have a feeling they will get close to what they are demanding.

If he will stay in England maybe, if he goes to other countries not sure.

Noone will pay 60m cash during Covid, for sure.

I agree with you. This pandemic has affected almost every club. The clubs in Spain especially Real Madrid and Barca were the most sufferers. EPL clubs have some kind of stability but there is no way they can afford that much of a salary of his. I don't think even Mancity would want to pay such a high fee. But only time will tell where he will end up to.

It looks like Barcelona are preparing to offer a brand new contract to Ansu Fati. And they are thinking of a one-billion-euro release clause for the 18-year-old just like they did with Pedri. Fati is seen as one of the most promising players for now. Maybe he will not be like Messi but he can really be one of the best players in the world in the future. He just needs to work hard to actualize his potential.

Yeah, something like that was already discussed. Mbappe wants Real, but that is 1 mil weekly salary that PSG is offering - Real cannot go nowhere near as high as that. Since FFP rules have been reduced due to Covid situation, PSG owner will probably be able to find a way to insert that money into the club.
Crazy money, and I'm thinking how Liverpool will pay 400k wekly that Salah is demanding. I already know we cannot, but then you hear about things like these and realize just how much money a few clubs have and how big the difference that really is.

One thing I have to say is that the PSG owners are playing a business game and I don't think if Mbappe accepts the contract it will be good for him. Because let's just say he accepts this contract with this huge salary. And after a year when his contract will be over and Real won't be able to pay as much, what if he changes his mind and stays with PSG then? I could be wrong but this is what I think might happen.

I'm not sure if you're comparing Zidane to Conte, but we all know he's not as good as the media portrays him to be; in his entire coaching career, he only had three years of success, and he's been as horrible as Ole for the past three years, since since Ronaldo left. Fallout between players and coaches happens all the time, and that does not make a coach bad; Zidane had the same issue with Bale. Conte is the man for United if they want rapid success; if they want long-term nonsense, they need Arsene Wenger or Zinedine Zidane.

I think both are good coaches, but Ronaldo suggested Manchester United choose Zidane. Maybe because they've worked together and Ronaldo knows very well how he works. While the latest news that I read, Conte has refused a call from Newcastle United. He decided to wait for a call from Manchester United.

^  Gerrard should prolly go straight to Liverpool if he is good and ready for the EPL.  I think if Newcastle wants a good enough place holder manager to try and to finish the season, they should go for Andre Villas Boas.  He’s decent and somebody a club would not mind giving the sack if things start going south.  Lol.

Right now Bruce has officially left Newcastle after making 1000th game in his career as a coach, Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspur match is his last match at Newcastle, now several names of coaches are reportedly linked to next coach newcastle, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard continues to be rumored to be newcastle coach, however I read @fabrizio Romano tweet saying that currently newcastle is in talks with Paulo Fonseca and also Lucien Favre.
Quite interesting to see who will be the next newcastle coach.

Bye bye Steve Bruce... in Lampard or Fonseca? Ehhh?  Tongue

Pretty sure that there will be alot of clubs but 80m is alot even for Sterling. Somewhere between 40-50 would be ideal

And the salary too. He will never find a club in this moment to even match his salary (unless it's Newcastle but Sterling will never go there).

Salah at Liverpool is battling to get his wages up and he is at least a regular producer and so important to his club. Sterling will always be the guy next to the main guy. I know he's a great player but I look at him and he's always just almost there. But maybe it's wrong to compare him with Tier A+ players as he is more to be compared to B+.

Raheem Sterling is reportedly unsettled at Man City, because he's not getting enough game time.

According to Marca, they've put a price tag on him, and are asking €80 million. Sounds a little cheap, but apparently Barca are interested... He may move somewhere, but I can't see how Barca could possibly be able to pay out that sort of fee. Even if he was €80 (without the million) they would struggle.

Cheap 80m for a player who is out of the team and wants to leave and everyone now knows it publicly?=

They are lucky if they can sell him for 60m.

On the one hand, you are right, but on the other hand, the price of 80 million euros is already a huge discount. Considering that the peak of his cost was only two years ago and was 160 million, I do not think that he will be sold cheaper https://www.transfermarkt.com/raheem-sterling/profil/spieler/134425 He is at an excellent age and is quite promising, plus keeping in mind the inflation of everything and everywhere lately, I would say that this is a reasonable price.

I have said it multiple times already, I'd love it if Liverpool went for him. I know many fans still hate him for the way that he left, but that team was in disarray and Rodgers was playing him as a wing back. Also - that was years ago - he was very young and I would not hold it against him if he came back.
