According to rumors, Pogba is now close to Real Madrid.
He can go to Spain on next summer for free, his contract will expire on the 30th of June.

In the end, it will one of these 3, Real, PSG, Juve.

This rumour surprised me actually because I heard some time ago that PSG were interested in him very much. And it has been still speculated like he would join PSG next summer. If your source turns out to be right, then Real Madrid are preparing to play big in the next season. Because they are after Mbappe also. And I heard some rumours like they can sign Lewandowski or Haaland too. I can't wait to see their next moves.  Grin

Marco Asensio is actually a very decent player but Real Madrid have many alternatives for the right wing like Rodrygo, Gareth Bale and Lucas Vasquez. Asensio can play as a left winger also but they have Eden Hazard and Vinicius Junior there for him to compete with.
Bale, Hazard, and Vázquez deserve to put on the transfer list, they are no longer young and cannot show the best performance. I think Real Madrid may consider selling these players in the next transfer window if there is no improvement in their performance. So, Asensio is better to stay in Real Madrid because they probably give more chances for Asensio to play in the next season. To remember that Asensio's position is a right-winger (the same as Bale, Vázquez, and Rodrygo). While Hazard and Vinícius play as Left Wingers. Basically, he doesn't compete in the position to play with Hazard and Vinícius.

It is claimed that Bayern Munich are interested in signing Chelsea striker Timo Werner. Since he came to the Premier League, he hasn't get accustomed to the team and the league and he has performed really bad. Before coming here, he was really great when he was at Leipzig. He scored 28 goals in the Bundesliga in the last season before being signed by Chelsea. Maybe he will start playing like before if Bayern Munich sign him. He was doing great in the Bundesliga in the end.

[...]Sure a Neymar-Messi-Mbappe trio is as scary as it gets for all other teams, and I definitely believe that they will win the league for sure, there is no way they would let that go.[...]

I'm curious to see what the game against Clermont will be like tomorrow.
PSG will spare Messi and Neymar and there are also doubts whether Mbappé will play because of the pain he felt in his calf.

What will PSG become without these three players? That's what we'll find out in PSG's last match before their Champions League debut.

Meanwhile, PSG is still looking for ways to hold Mbappé, I heard the club is considering paying him more than it pays Messi and Neymar today.

https://www.espn.co.uk/football/soccer-transfers/story/4471311/chelsea-to-reignite-jules-kounde-interest-if-sevilla-lower-demands-to-50m-sources

Considering ESPN, Chelsea are preparing to offer a new deal to Sevilla centre-back Jules Kounde. Bu they are hoping that Sevilla decrease their asking price to €50m. I think it is already obvious that Sevilla don't want to sell him normally. They would think of selling him if he performs really bad. And a club can get him by paying the release clause also. But it must be over €70m now and it is really a huge amount of money for the player.
Sevilla don't seem serious about selling out the player to Chelsea. Chelsea is quite interested in Kounde, and are ready to pay €50m for the player, but Sevilla wants something higher, but i don't think Chelsea will be offering anything above €50m. Following the transfer of Kurt Zouma to West Ham, Chelsea needs someone to replace him. If Sevilla agreed on signing Kounde out for €50m. Chelsea will definitely go for him in January.

Having big names in your team is good for marketing and to stir interest in the media and the fans, but it does not automatically mean that you are the crystal clear favorite for all titles and that you become unbeatable. Messi is a great player and without a doubt in the top 5 of all time great football players but he is already 34 years old now and probably behind its peak. I still think it was a good transfer for PSG because of the media and fan attention and of course they did not have to pay any transfer fees for him. I don't know though how how the salary for messi is per year. If he earns as much as he did in Barca back in the day (up to 555 M€ for 4 years), then that would be way to much for a single player.
Ramos is also still injured, I mean his injury is probably over by now, but he is not 100% back and that means he needs to keep practicing to get back into shape and be better and have 100% of his body back to full again. This means that he will not be playing until early October, and then he needs to get into match shape because no matter how much you train, a real game is always different.

Long story short there is a good chance that PSG will not be as great as people imagine they would be. Sure a Neymar-Messi-Mbappe trio is as scary as it gets for all other teams, and I definitely believe that they will win the league for sure, there is no way they would let that go. However UCL is a different beast, one game where they are not communicating perfectly and they are gone. You can be the best team in the world, have the greatest player in all positions, and you would still end up losing if the team is not playing perfectly together.

I guess it depends how Chelsea will be playing and ends up the league , possible we will see him in Chelsea for another 2 years because there are some German Friends playing.
He is a very good player and he showed that lately in the National Team , also it looks like Werner can score again Goals.
Maybe the German connection will hold them together .
Maybe you're right, it happens a lot with many other players on different teams. Although it is not possible to determine whether a player's performance is good or bad, but having compatriots like them can connect well on the pitch. Sometimes it doesn't just happen between players because some coach are also quite happy to bring some good countrymen into the team he coaches.

It was reported that PSG are willing to sign Chelsea centre-back Antonio Rudiger. And he has only one year left on his contract. It seems like he is not Chelsea's number one choice for the position considering the number of matches he played in the last season. He played for only half season. It would be a nice transfer for PSG and they wouldn't pay any transfer fee. I don't think that he would be in the starting eleven but he would be a good alternative.
Dude shut up you do not watch Chelsea games, Rudi never missed a game since Tuchel took over 6 months ago his is one of the best performing defender in Chelsea and Germany right now, Chelsea are still in discussions with his agent to find an agreement over his new deal. pSG will only make a move if the deal with Chelsea over new contracts crashes and not because of playing time. Rudi will work into any team starting 11 now
his contract. Unfortunately until now Rudiger has not agreed to the offer given by Chelsea, because it is still far from the expectations that Rudiger
wants. Unlike his colleague Christensen, who reportedly has his contract extension going well. I hope Rudiger and Chelsea reach an agreement,
Rudi is demanding 200k/ week is not that bad considering how good he has become, I think he deserves it but I don't know why Chelsea is taking too long to strike a deal with him and his agent, Rudi is not someone a team should lose at this time, Rudi is earning lesser but deserves better.

Marco Asensio does not get a chance to perform in too many matches at Real Madrid. Real Madrid has more talented players than him. He gets a chance to perform if the key players become weak or injured. At age 25, he should now join a team where he can play a full 90 minutes. This will enhance his experience. But as far as it seems, he is interested in staying at Real Madrid. If he wants to consolidate his place in the Real Madrid squad, he has to perform better.

Marco Asensio is actually a very decent player but Real Madrid have many alternatives for the right wing like Rodrygo, Gareth Bale and Lucas Vasquez. Asensio can play as a left winger also but they have Eden Hazard and Vinicius Junior there for him to compete with. In this situation, it is not logical to wait for him to get too many chances here. I agree that it is the best for him to leave the team as soon as possible.

Billy Gilmour and Conor Gallagher have been sent out on loan to Norwich City and Crystal Palace respectively this season with their chances in the first team eat Stamford Bridge so far having been rather limited.

And if Saul makes his stay permanent, having arrived on loan from Atletico Madrid, and the club said to be lining up a move for England midfielder Declan Rice, the pair may decide to move on permanently.

Many in the gambling thread especially for sports do not gamble and do not watch,,, they just comment after googling some news which of course does not carry any of the context or considerations of injury, suspension, management change etc.

He also forgot Chelsea did their best while he was playing, lost 3 times with him and 6 times when he did not play.

I must agree here. Mbappe, Neymar and Messi sound frightening, but they do not help much in defence, and sometimes it takes the whole team to defend. Ramos is injured one year, the big question is when and how he will return.
At this moment, I think they can't beat Chelsea or Manchester City.
Mauricio Pochettino knows his players, he knows how defensive and offensive each of them are. But the best formation to play in this Paris Saint German side is a flat 4-3-3 formation. That is what he has been playing. He is aware that the front three won’t do much defensively, so he has to play one than one defensive minded midfield on both sides of the midfield. Idrissa Gueye, Or Leandro Paredes, Marco Verratti and Georginio Wijnaldum or a Ander Herrera can also pair in the midfield. These are all defensively minded midfielders that can cover up for Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Meesi. Sergio Ramos return won’t affect their performance because he hasn’t featured in any of their games. They still have Presnel Kempembe and Marquinhos at the center of the defense. They’ve been playing that role before Sergio Ramos came to the team.

@Pulsar77 he’ll be sold to Chelsea either in the January or the Summer Transfer window, because he was very upset with Sevilla for not accepting Chelsea’s bid. Further it’s being reported that Jules Kounde was so angry with the Sevilla management that he ignored their calls after his transfer failed to Chelsea, and now it looks likely that they have an unsettled player on their hand who they’ll try and sell as soon as they can.

I wonder though if Rudiger isn't playing a dangerous game. With Tuchel he found a coach who really values his qualities as a player. It wasn't always like that. If he goes to another top team his role might change quickly. They are now all greedy because they know that Chelsea is even willing to pay Werner 20 million EUR per year.

I agree that Antonio Rudiger was the first choice after Tuchel became Chelsea coach, even in this season alone Rudiger has always been the starting
eleven. Rudiger is a defender that Tuchel wants to keep, even according to the media Tuchel has given input to the Chelsea management to extend
his contract. Unfortunately until now Rudiger has not agreed to the offer given by Chelsea, because it is still far from the expectations that Rudiger

Why being on loan will destroy his football career? It depends on how he perform when he gets the opportunities to play.
Being a loan player, means he won't stay in a club for a long time. Mostly 1 or two seasons only, then he will be loaned again to other clubs. This can make the player be difficult to show his best performance if he must adapt to a new environment every year. In a new club, there is no guarantee to play regularly, moreover if in the club he has strong competition in the same position. It is different if he can sign a contract as a permanent player in a club and be a key player there.

In my opinion, it is the right time for Ceballos to prove that he is a good player that should be kept by Real Madrid.
Not sure if Real Madrid wants to keep him as the first option in the main squad. We know that Real Madrid prefer to buy instantly. If they want a quality midfielder, I guess they prefer to buy top midfielders than asking Ceballos. However, it is only in my opinion as a Madrid fan for more than 10 years.  Wink

PSG , real madrid and manchester city are the only club that can afford to pay 28m euros to a 22 years old indeed , im not saying that the other clubs like barcelona , juventus, manchester united or chelsea couldnt pay such amount of money tho, their current balance sheet is just not fit to make a transfer saga.
speaking about salary ... messi currently lay at the top of highest-paid football player list with 50m euro annually before tax , insane.
I agree that Mbappe's potential salary did not come from scratch and is comparable to his current salary at Paris Saint-Germain. Of course, you can call it madness, but these are the realities of the market and Real Madrid simply acts according to the laws of this market, otherwise Mbappe, for all his childhood sympathies for Real Madrid, would have chosen another club if he had been offered significantly less at the royal club. Super clubs should correspond to their status, including in terms of remuneration, but this is dangerous territory when a player does not justify the tasks assigned to him. If a player is able to give a result for the team, then you should not look at his age, because the age of the player is quite short and it is unknown how long it will last, and therefore the desire to earn as much as possible for the rest of the player's life after his career is clear.
