Liverpool NEEDS transfers this summer. This is obvious. They just can't stay in a PL title race anymore. We saw it clearly last season. The thing they need is not only a squad depth but also a stronger lineup to start matches.

If they didn't want to lose Osimhen I don't think they'd be so silly as to make him uncomfortable with his career at Napoli and given what happened last season I actually think that's why Osimhen is trying to stay away from Napoli.

I think Napoli is the one making this deal complicated. They're asking for too much for Osimhen. Chelsea wants a direct swap deal, which is not very fair too but considering that they bought Lukaku for 100 million, they don't want to pay any more, but what they have to understand is that the market value of Lukaku has dropped drastically so they have to pay for Osimhen and let Lukaku join Napoli.

If you look at this deal, I feel like Chelsea is at a disadvantage because they can't use Lukaku. However the transfer window goes, Chelsea is going to sell Lukaku, but if everything goes wrong, Napoli can decide to use Osimhen for another season, they're not desperate to sell unlike how Chelsea is desperate to sell Lukaku.

Talking about Osimhen’s price of course it is a little bit high, it’s not for his performance or anything but his age is the reason why most clubs think the price is high. If you look at the market nowadays you will see a lot of players who lack experience and are still being sold for higher prices of 100m so with Osimhen experience and stats he should be worth that much if only he is a bit younger, he has proven himself multiple seasons that he is a striker that can give you goals regardless of the team performance.

Whatever Chelsea decides i think getting Osimhen is the best option for them, Napoli clearly wants Lukaku and this is the perfect opportunity for Chelsea to get a Big name striker. Osimhen just wants to leave and Napoli also wants to sell him Chelsea have no plan to use Lukaku and Napoli wants him, this swap will make both parties happy so why not just conclude and get it over it. It's clear Conte prefer Lukaku than Osimhen, this is just an obvious fact and I doubt if he is really in his plan because this transfer saga has been going on for like over a month now, Conte always prefer Lukaku since the beginning while Napoli just wants to cash out big from their price asset, is not like they don't want to sell rather they want more money for their top player though this would have not been a problem for other teams but his records is the drawbacks.
Also I don't think are not interested in Osimhen is just the fee Napoli are requesting though PSG are always known to be spending big for players they want but if you observe this transfer windows they have been oddly negotiating for a fairer price and not just smashing out the asking price for every players they are interested in

We can assume according to the rumors and our own point of view, but keeping Osimhen is not the best move if the player really wants to leave. Napoli could do it as you said, but it is not certain that he will perform optimally if he stays at Napoli. besides, Osimhen's contract ends in June 2026, which means that the closer to the end of the contract, his release clause will decrease. well, actually I don't know much about Osimhen's contract, but if anyone knows more, they can provide a more detailed picture. as for Osimhen's performance, I have no doubt that he can adapt to any league he plays in. in this context, playing with a big club.
