As Bayern Munich and Man. City deal after signing Leroy Sane, Man. City reported will bringing Alaba to the club. but in other rumors, City doesn't want Alaba but they want Kingsley Coman. Pep Guardiola will be offered a new contract with City and based on the news, he will get a huge budget, there also speculation[read] if Messi will be one of the targets. What do you think about this, will Messi reunion with Pep?

I don’t think Messi will join another European club team, in my opinion he either finishes his career with Barca or he goes back to Argentina but not until he is a few years older.

They have Coutinho and Dembele that they can sell and get that 70m Euro covered up easily. Selling these players can solve their financial problems that they are going through also. But question is are any clubs interested in them?

They will probably sell them, yes, but using that money to buy Lautaro Martinez? I don't know what's in the heads of people running the club, but what do they plan to do with another striker?

They currently have 3 strikers that are better than him, they are playing most of them out of their natural position so they can be on the pitch at the same time and now they will sell Dembele (a player who provides at least some width) and replace him with another striker they will have to accommodate?

I don't see how they can continue with the 3 they currently have, let alone with adding another one to the mix. Unless they are thinking of letting one of the current ones go - but then again they'd need someone better than Lautaro to replace them.

So Barca would have to sell like 3-4 players to get to that amount that will be use to sign one single player...sounds like a good deal

There would be so many teams that would sign them.
Especially Coutinho is a player that can add a lot of value when playing on the first team. I think that he is going to return back to Premier league.

It looks like Manchester City and Chelsea London are interested in signing David Alaba. FC Bayern Munich and David Alaba still seem to be in contract negotiations, but the Austrian defender is hesitant.
~
That's correct and Manchester City is willing to pay the market price of David Alaba but he doesn't want to move to Manchester City or Chelsea cause Alaba prefers a move to Real Madrid or Barcelona, with the financial status of Barca now moving there won't be good for him. Meanwhile, he's still young though cause something that one's heart and mind want is most important.

David Alaba is just young now. his career is just beginning. if he wants to go to any club other than Real Madrid or Barcelona, I think it is a perfect decision for him. because if he plays in such a legendary club like real or barca, then his own gameplay will be improved a lot. you know a lot of legendary players are associated with these club. Alaba has to work harder to get a chance to Barca or Real, he has to impress them by his performance.

It looks like Manchester City and Chelsea London are interested in signing David Alaba. FC Bayern Munich and David Alaba still seem to be in contract negotiations, but the Austrian defender is hesitant. The German TV-Station Sky Sport News just reported the following:

Manchester City have concrete interest in David Alaba. Chelsea are also interested, but a transfer to the Blues is much less likely. Barcelona, currently struggling with financial problems, are hoping to sign Alaba on a free transfer next summer.

On the other hand, Bayern doesn't want to let Alaba go on a free next year. The Bavarians are still trying hard to extend Alaba's contract. A move to Man City is not ruled out, but a lot still has to happen before any deal is reached. [@SkySportNewsHD]

Now all Barcelona has to do is sell some players to match that 70mn Euro.

Chelsea rumours are getting a bit out of hand. Mirror says that the blues want to sign one of the best GK in the world, Oblak, and they will offer cash + Kepa lol  Grin

btw, i was checking Skybet and saw 'Jack Grealish to Man Utd' @1.70, pretty good odds.

There are rumours around that Barcelona are trying to bring Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez. Some reports a time ago indicated that Messi wanted the striker to play alongside him and it will be a good deal if happens. Right now both teams have come to an agreement with deal: Lautaro Matinez(INT) for 70mn Euro + Junio Firpo (BAR). Now all Barcelona has to do is sell some players to match that 70mn Euro.

That's a very good news for city fans. There were lot rumours like KDB will be out if the ban stays and also there were rumours that Guardiola will also be not interested staying as City manager anymore.

Perhaps the story is not entirely over, in the end, the City was not acquitted because it was innocent but for other reasons.
As I understand it, the City is guilty but not punishable and other teams who are now fighting for fifth position and who therefore will not be in the cup will perhaps make opposition

Oh I see the picture- their punishment was reduced only to 10m. Can others oppose such decision like that? I am also bit unsure about that happening. Right now teams after City on the table are very close on points which each other. They will be much more focused on playing the best and secure the best spot they can right now rather than opposing such decisions. But who knows, can happen though since many are surprised by the decision overturned and punishment reduced.

Spurs paid about 60 million to Lyon for Ndombele last year, they won't sell him for much less after only one season, I guess.

Yeah, spurs wouldn't go for lesser bid especially when he has time remaining on his contract. So seems very less likely rumour to turn into reality.

Ndombele will certainly be expensive. I recall him being brought in Pochetinno last year adn with that much remaining years he will certainly be expensive. I don't think Bayern will be interested since we already have seen that they also weren't interested in increasing bid to match Sane's market value when they were seeking for Sane. There were some things that were pushed from Sane's end like not signing the contract extension and persistent with his demand to move to Bayern which put things into Bayern favour then. Won't happen like that in Ndombele case now.

I also think Ndombele wouldn't really be a fit for Bayerns squad and he wouldn't have a guaranteed starting position in their team right now. That rumor about Ndombele probably came up when Thiago was said to been already half-way to Liverpool. But right now, it's looking more like Thiago will fullfil his contract until next year. Or are there any new updated about that? With Thiago staying in Munich it would make even less sense for Bayern to spend a lot money for a bench-player. Spurs paid about 60 million to Lyon for Ndombele last year, they won't sell him for much less after only one season, I guess.

If they want to qualify in CL, they need to finish in the top 4, that's a rule many years back. Not to expect to kick someone better out and make a spot for you. I think it is a sport, and it takes results to succeed, not at the green table. The city has one of the best teams in the world, they are all good players and they deserve right now to be in the elite. Saying this as Manchester United supporter, there are several reasons why I would like to punish them, but then we lose touch with the sport.
it is quite another story why such a way of doing business is allowed, the FFP rules themselves are poorly set and there is a lot of space to manipulate the system.

Money rules this game for a while already, as long as it does, City, PSG and the rest of them will do whatever it is they want.
i'm looking forward to seeing Newcastle in this that =P I bet the new owners are getting ready to splash tons of money in the next transfer window.

the recent news about City means a new wave of rumours about signings, and the main target for the citizens seems to be Koulibaly https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2020/07/13/man-city-accelerate-rebuild-plans-five-new-signings/

Also, it looks like Man Utd are really close to signing Chidwell https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1309023/Man-Utd-Chelsea-transfer-news-Frank-Lampard
Since the beginning sources says that Newcastle will not splash cash in huge despite they could do it anytime, it was a strict investment which they said they will spend wisely.

We can take a look at aston villa who the owner himself nassef sawiris is the top 6 richest owner in Premier League, but where are they belong now? Fighting for the relegation and probably won't make it happen to stay at Premier League.

Everyone would expect Newcastle to have a huge spending in transfer window but the board warns to not expect that.

Well, it has been confirmed, the ban has been lifted and City will play champions league next season 100%, while also having to pay just 10m euros as fine as CAS overturns the ban.

More information are here: https://www.skysports.com/football/live-blog/11945/12027060/manchester-city-await-cas-verdict-on-champions-league-ban-appeal-updates-and-reaction

Meh, kind of expected. FFP is a failed experiment which is a shame because a few clubs with unlimited money simply erase all the good that has been done by clubs that really try to work according to FFP's guidelines.

They ruled in City's favor but the next time some club like Granada or Brescia is 20 minutes late on a 5$ payment, all the brainiacs will decide that Brescia needs to be erased from football's history books and should be banned to C1 league.

There are rumors, that FC Bayern München is interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombélé. The current market value of the 23 year-old midfielder is currently about €52m. Ndombélé had 29 appearances for Tottenham this season and scored 2 goals. He still has a contract at Tottenham until 30.06.2025. So if FC Bayern wants to sign him, it's going to be pretty expensive.

Bayern are interested in Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombélé ahead of the possible departures of Thiago, Javi Martínez and/or Tolisso. The idea of a loan deal with option to buy is clearly conceivable. Spurs want to recover as much as they paid for Ndombélé [@AlexisBernard10]

Source: https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1282627828262084608

I’m surprised at this, Ndombélé has done close to nothing at Spurs to attract a club of Bayern’s interest. This transfer would be very strange but I guess anything can happen?
