Liverpool fans wouldn’t like to see Coutinho at Man Utd but a job is a job & Man Utd would be a very well paying job. If Coutinho hasn’t got many offers & Man Utd are willing to take him & offering him a good salary then I think he would go there.

Tough situation for coutinho.

Back to premier league and face liverpool... a club that makes him a rising star would be a bit emotional isn't it? Or you guys
Is it as tough as he leaving the club for Barcelona in the first place? I don't think it is, if he could leave the club at that time to go for "better fortunes" in Spain, then he can return to England, with another team that's not Liverpool to bring his career back to life.

United are arch rivals to Liverpool, so the fans may not give coutinho any respect anytime he plays against Liverpool, but in football, players have tough decisions to make, and as professionals that they are, there are some factors, though important, they have to put away. If Barcelona don't want him and Manchester United do, why not?

According to L'Equipe, there is a legal way for Pogba to leave Manchester United.

They also said he will not come back to Juventus and the price is 60m€.

A translated version can be found here: https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2020/paul-pogba-determined-to-leave-manchester-united-lequipe/

As said 3 months ago my rumor was Pogba to Juve for 70m€ let's see I will know more than the L'Equipe  Grin

^  I doubt any club would spend that huge at the next two or prolly three transfer windows.  The outbreak is a wake up call that there are some things that we thought were important but are really aren't.  First to go are those fat fees the agents charge.  IMHO.

As Napoli is looking for a central defender.

Koulibaly can leave on the next market session, is a strong defender even if he is not so young anymore, price before Corona was 80-90m €

They have Manolas who is a kind of a decent defender.
Koulibaly's price is so high and I don't think that it is the real value of this player.
I wonder if there were any team that would buy him at that price at his age.

@EdenHazard yeah football's a different animal. A lot more passion, a lot more unreasonable expectations, but we also need to remember where these guys came from and at the end of the day, it's their lves. I'm a bit older than most of you and I mistakenly thought early in my career loyalty was a 2-way street. The love of the fans, them singing your name, it's nothing money can buy, but at the end of the day it can't feed your kids or make your heart satisfied if it wants something else.

As LFC says, Leicester or ManU, so he has rather shitty picks, but he made his choice and he has to live with it!

Well I guess day by day there would be another premier league club that interested to sign coutinho as Barcelona themselves rumored will release him in discounted price Grin

This coming transfer season will be one of the less movement of the players because of the financial crisis of the majority clubs, when you have a few money then you don't have an option to buy players so small club will face the most crucial situation, at this moment, Big guns are facing a huge monetary crisis so it's easy to assume what is going on the small clubs, It's sad to predict that they will not able to cope up with this situation and their potential players will leave them because it's fully professional stage and players are the most professional. that's why this is not the right time to predict anything about the coming transfer market.

Manchester United is already planning to release a lot of players at the end of the season, the proceeds from the sale they can plan will be used to finance the transfer of several players who have entered the shopping list, namely Jadon Sancho, James Maddison and Jack Grealish.

I think Lingard move can happen. He is already struggling with chances at United. All three targets are good and young attacking midfielders.I can see where it is going and it will definitely turn out as good investment if they get any of them. I would go with Sancho over the other two but the price tag uff, its heavy.

I am not sure where you read that Coutinho is linked with MUTD, I'm pretty sure that's nonsense, they already have one Lingard in the team, and I see no reason why they would bring another one player with similar capacity.  Wink

There is a huge difference between Coutinho and Lingard.
Coutinho is much better than Lingard and if Manchester United wants a refresh in the squad then Coutinho is the best way to go. I wonder if any manager would prefer Lingard instead of Coutinho.

In my own opinion, manchester united are better off without both Lingard and coutinho.
Solksjaer was brought in to make a rebuild to the united team, which makes coutinho an off target for manchester united.

Lingard to Arsenal will be a beautiful news, while manchester united primary target remains a Right Winger, A defensive midfielder, and another defender to replace the outgoing rojo, smalling and jones.

Now according to a report from the Daily Mail[1], Lingard is claimed to have the potential to join Arsenal starting the 2020/21 season, especially if the London club failed to extend the loan period or permanently contract Dani Ceballos.

Jadon Sancho and Manchester seems to have an agreement for the transfer of the following market session.
United seems to go be a stronger team with Sancho and Bruno Fernandes.

How can this be really official yet when we haven't seen Borussia Dortmund having any kind of transfer talks with Man United or even Chelsea at this point? During this time where most of the leagues are suspended and all players are at their homes it makes me hard to believe any of this transfer rumors especially if the whole football business is silent until now. That's news like Kane to Real Madrid or Icardi to Milan is so hard to believe since we know ourselves that all of this cannot be confirmed yet until they arrived at the club and have their medicals until the next transfer window opens.

If the season is finished Leicester will get CL football so Coutinho would have to choose between CL footy with Leicester or more money with Man Utd & probably no CL football.

And being a hardcore Liverpool supporter, how would you feel if Coutinho moved to Manchester United (yes, I spelled it whole for effect.  Grin)?

Plenty of places covering it, including ESPN (rumour mill). I'm pretty sure it's nonsense too, but there has to be some truth to his lack of choices. And Lingard's been rumoured to be shipped out for a while now too. OSG's given him enough time. 0 goals, 0 assists in 20 league games. You sure you can't see the reason?Wink

Also, pretty sure Coutinho's got a little bit more ability than Lingard. The former's actually quite consistent, just frustrating for me on his lack of strength, while the latter ghosts when the team needs him most.

I can feel you mate.

Just like when courtois refuse to stay at Chelsea as a dream move to Madrid is the best choice for him as for the strong family reason.
He remains professional despite called out as a snake by the Chelsea fans for months.
We can't really blame them though.

It's just a rumor.. eventhough realistically he should pick United over the other one Leicester city but who knows eh?

Indeed.

A big call he had when a dream move to Barcelona sounds like undeniable...
But he forgot that Barcelona is not for everyone. Now he is in weird situation where the club Barcelona and his ex club liverpool didn't want him.

There you go Manchester United for you Grin

I'm always in a mixed space when it comes to guys like him. At least he wasn't like a whiny Sterling, and he played professionally to the end, but he really shouldn't have had his head turned. But a dream is a dream and I can never fault a guy for going where his heart wants. If it wasn't all Red, then he would never have been truly happy, so yeah.

Man Utd? If he ends up going there, then all the best. I hope he'll do well wherever, except when he plays against us.
