I just learned that the player transfer window for this season is over, it's interesting to see how players who get new contracts and new clubs compete in the English premiere league.

But that doesn't stop teams from other leagues whose transfer window is still truly on to purchase players from English teams, they are truly allowed to do so, the only hinderance is to the purchase of players, not sale.
You are absolutely correct. According to ESPN they can still sell their players to leagues where the transfer window is still open.

Quote
All English clubs will still be able to sell or loan players to leagues where the transfer market remains open after Aug. 8.

Another thing worth noting is that clubs can still sign players who are without a club even after the deadline. I am not sure if that also applies to the clubs in England.
Quote
Clubs are still able to sign players as free agents after the deadline, and as long as they are not officially attached to any club on Sept. 2.

EPL transfer window closed, but there are so interesting news in other leagues:
Another important Ajax player Lasse Schone left team. He joined Genoa for 1.5 million €.
Lucas Moura signed new contract with Spurs until 2024.
Ilkay Gundogan signed new contract with City until 2023.
Shinji Kagawa from Borussia moves to Second (!!!) Spanish division Zaragoza.
Bad news for Manchester city today as sane is out for close to seven months with a damaged ACL he suffered in the community shield against Liverpool, I feel quite sorry for the lad as he's set to miss almost all of the season through injury. Due to this bayerns interest have been cut off.

He'll be missed by city, but not on a large scale as pep has enough depth in his squad to cover up for the loss, I think sterling will play at wide left for most part of the season while Bernardo is also an option in that role.
Oh shit, ACL is one of the worst injuries for football player. You have to miss whole season and sometimes such injuries have big influence in player's career later.

Too bad for this young talent.

I guess this is one of many reasons why managers do not field their star players in these preseason games or friendly's because it ends up costing them a premier league, but city is pretty much covered with plenty of quality replacements and I see them getting this one again.

The transfer window for English clubs have ended. Does anyone have official information does this apply for both players coming in and being transferred away from the Premier League? I know that they can no longer purchase players but can they still sell players abroad?

In England now they can't buy players, they can have a small window (days) if they asked FA yesterday.

They can now only sell to other counties, this means for example that Pogba can be still on the market if ManU wants to sell him.

Bayern don't have many options now because already agreed transfer of Leroy Sane from Manchester City has failed.
Is Perisisic possible replacement for Sane?

After failing to get Sane, Bayern Munich is indeed interested in bringing Ivan Perisic. Perisic has long been included in Bayern's target. The opportunity to see Perisic close to the Allianz Arena is indeed not an impossible thing, because he has also certainly not been included in the Antonio Conte scheme.

No Pogba to Real Madrid, no Coutinho or Bale in the EPL, Dybala stays in Italy, Wilfried Zaha will keep playing in Crystal Palace...Some of the players that were rumoured to change teams during Deadline Day.

I think that those rumors was just released in order to create a buzz around those players.
The main goal is probably to increase their transfer value for any future potential signing. I think Bale will be transferred to another club during the winder transfer window.

I think,  based on the info I read in some portals, that English clubs can still sell their players abroad,  just can't buy players any more.

Yes, the transfer windows affects only buying players simply because they'll be unable to register such player. Logically, they can still even make signings but such players will have to wait till January before they can play. Most team will be against selling a significant player as they'll not be able to sign any replacement.

Yes they can!
It's official that the premier league transfer window is officially closed as English teams can no longer buy players from any part of the world.

But that doesn't stop teams from other leagues whose transfer window is still truly on to purchase players from English teams, they are truly allowed to do so, the only hinderance is to the purchase of players, not sale.

Most of Europe's top leagues have their transfer window closed on or before the 31st of August, except for the Portuguese league that ends transfer business on the 22 of September.

I am little surprised by Man Utd. They have now sold Lukaku and didn't bring any new striker to the team. That means they have only Rashford and Greenwood as strikers. Granted they also have Martial, Lingard and Sanches who can help in attack but it will be very difficult times for Man Utd, especially if Rashford gets injured or has a bad season.

I think they have more problem with the midfielder. I expected Erikson or Fernandes or both, but none of it. Who will create any chance to Rashford or Greenwood or whoever?
Seems Solskjaer trying to do the same thing like SAF with '92 generation and with players like Beckham, Giggs, Scholes... Ole trying with McTominay, Greenwood, Pereira ... Buying Maguire vs. Ferdinand
There is an only one problem, MU is not competitive for the last few years, and I don't think they have enough time to wait and develop.

This year's Premier league is still going to be another tough competition though Liverpool still seems to be the most balanced team for the year.

Why, is it because they didn't buy any player which might had influence their style of play or what. I hate to see what the premier is turning into, getting easily predictable. Liverpool won't be as impressive as last season and this season would come with it's surprises. In other news, Kieran Tierney joins Arsenal on long-term deal. And congrats to iwobi his move to Everton might just be perfect for him to get more game time.

The Mirror reports Then Cero claiming Modric doesn't want to leave Real, not only that, they say he desperately wants to remain a Real player.
City have officially confirmed that Leroy Sane has to undergo surgery. He will not be able to play long time, probably 6 months.
