News coming in this morning suggest that Juventus and Manchester City are close to agreeing the transfer of Joao Cancelo to the PL. I hope this is not true as I don't see any possible quality replacement on the right back right now.

Regarding the Dybala for Lukaku deal. It seems that everything is agreed between Juve and Man U and Juve and Lukaku. All that is missing is Dybala's confirmation. He is expected to come back from his holiday today and will be talking to the coach regarding his plans. If he gets told that he is no longer considered a regular first team option I think all he can do is accept the Man U deal.

I think that Lukaku fits better Serie A and Dybala the Premier League.
Lukaku is strong as Serie A needs and Dybala is fast that it is needed in EPL.
This exchange is going to be good for fans that like to watch football in those leagues.

Not really, here Juventus fans we are hating this negotiation.

Basically, we are ok selling Dybala (not everyone) but not for Lukaku, we can't see him a good player even if he could be a good partner for CR7 he will be a bad player for Sarriball.

Lukaku is a great striker just look at his stats when he was playing for Everton and it’s no surprise that Juventus want him, all they’ll need to do is feed the ball to him and he’ll give them goals and more goals. Dybala has the instinct to score goals which Manchester United is currently lacking, and he’ll be a welcome addition to the club. This deal will be good for both stars as they’ll get more playing time, and hopefully they’ll help their respective clubs win titles this season.

But right now Sari doing all changes which he want to do and hopefully this will work for him as this season is going to be good as Napoli and Milan is also doing some good changes and if this Lukaku change is going to do good work for Juventus then surely opposite teams going to take some good advantage.

^  Sarri prolly thinks he can do better in trying to improve Lukaku than he could do with Dybala...?  Still both are somewhat young.  There's still bit time for them to improve their game and make some sort of break through.

I hope the trade happens just because I wanna see Dybala at the EPL.  And Lukaku could do better cos of the weaker opposition at Serie A.

Anyway guys, I changed the poll.  Please vote.  Grin

Great opportunity for Malcom to sign.
Barcelona makes a mistake of selling him as they lack in players in his position. Maybe they are going to buy someone with the money they are going to get.

I strongly doubt that'd be the case though, I don't think Barcelona will make any further transfer, at least not attacking player.

Overall, I was expecting Valverde to count on Malcom this season as well, so it's still quite good that the club is making more they spent to sign him last season.

Cutrone Officially Strengthens Wolverhampton, Certainty CUTRONE transfer announced by Wolves on his official website, Tuesday (07/30/2019) night WIB. This was after Cutrone completed the medical process and signed the contract.
To bring Cutrone, Wolves have to spend 18 million euros in advance and 4 million euros in bonuses. That means Curtone costs a total of 22 million euros.

I’ve never heard of him to be honest, is he any good? Wolves are a good team with wealthy owners, they could definitely challenge to possibly break into the top 6. They’re probably not good enough to get top 4 but 5th or 6th could be possible.

Sarri might still think that Premier League players are better than Serie A players that is why he thinks a forward like Lukaku can be a star in the league. I doubt that will happen on everyone as proven by a lot of flop big transfers made by Serie A teams, they either end up wasting their money or overpaying a subpar player. I just wish that they keep Dybala instead as he is really valuable for the team.

Sarri told on his 1st interview for Juventus around one month ago that he will not speak about the market, the market for him is a thing for the president & Co, he told he will speak about the kind of players but he will not ask for specific players.

Weaker opponents in Italian league?

Overall yes but defenses are a lot stronger than the premier league.

I dunno, Man City & Liverpool have good defences. Italian teams have good defences because at times the whole team defends. Liverpool have Van Dijk, the best CB in the world & Alisson got the golden glove awards in the CL, PL & Copa America - https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/talksport.com/football/568306/liverpool-alisson-copa-america-golden-glove/amp/

^  Seriously?  Lukaka's gonna have a lot of problems then.  I mean he's good vs weaker defenders and almost bullying them even.  But vs the better ones, nope.

Edit:  And it's sooo funny he was dubbed as 'the next Drogba'.  Lol.

I am not sure what is the primary reason for Juventus in this deal. To buy Lukaku and make the team stronger or to make impossible his move to Inter Milan.
Juventus is looking for a strong #9 striker that can be in the center of the attack. Their wish is Icardi but Inter would rather ban him from the 1st team than to sell him to Juventus. Since Juve started playing the 4-3-3 formation there is no place for Dybala anywhere. His bad form doesn't help either. I though the 4-3-3 would be long gone when Sarri came but he seems to be interested in keeping it.

I think it’s a mistake to trade Dybala for Juventus but what do I know, I guess Sarri has a plan. I don’t see how Robaldo is going to work with Lukaku as a focal point, they’re like total opposites. Lukaku’s link up play & technique is awful.

Not sure if the Lukaku transfer is a real thing or a misdirection deal to get Icardi or someone Else.
Dybala can leave for other players.

The Dybala from last 2 years is not a great player and for sure his value is not 100M as like Lukaku value is not 85M.

Dybala was good 2 years ago as Lukaku was great 2 years ago.

This can be a real negotiation but I don't understand what is the part of Lukaku on the one-touch Sarriball when he is lacking on this thing.

For sure the Lukaku from Everton was a good player, now is meh... I hope he will not come to Turin.

I can agree with Dybala transfer (as told he is not in a good shape right now (mentally)) but for a different player.
