And Eriksen (Tottenham).
I honestly think he's the perfect replacement for Modric...I think his contract expires in 2020 meaning that, either Levy accepts whatever offer we make for Erik, or they risk losing him (for free) in January next year.

Forgot to mention in my post earlier some players that could potentially leave the team:

Gareth Bale
Ceballos
Vallejo
Marcos Llorente
Mariano

According to some rumours, Zidane will be given around €300m to spend in the summer. If the board decides to sell some of the players above, Zizou could easily have around 400m-450m to spend.

Press is full of news that Real Madrid today will appoint Zinedine Zidane as head coach today. This is something what I really didn't expected that can happen. But I don't understand why now, why they can't wait until summer. Season of Real already ruined, they out of Champions league and Copa, they lost La Liga already? I don't what can Zidane achieve in remaining few months of season with current squad.

Probably just to make sure that they stabilise & definitely get into the CL for next session. He’s not going to make much of a difference though is he, it’s clear that Ronaldo carried them for the last 10 years.
Madrid take a good decision indeed, Zidane is here to build a competitive team able to win any League. Too late in the Champions League though. Zidane is here after Elclassico but this man is the man for big games and will see in the next session! Yes, it could not easy to avoid the phrase, No Ronaldo no trophy!

Life, Love and Laughter...
I have been reading about Zidane
He was ready to stay with Real last year but under some conditions
Sell Bale keep Ronaldo and build new Real
Perez refused that .Now Perez promised Zidane full support
Now Zidane wants Hazard and Ericksen

Zidane's conditions were to have total control over Real's first team, including the direction on where to take them strategically.  That means total control on sporting director stuff aka the player transfers.

I'd say give him full support.  He could already have a vision on where to take Real and where they'd be in the next 5 years or so

As far as Hazard is concerned he will be a great signing for Real if it happens. However, I don't think that Chelsea will let him go because they will not be able to cover his position with another signing due to the punishment from FIFA.
Do you think Chelsea are gonna say no to €100m and just let him go for free next season (his contract expires in 2020, he could sign with a new team fo free in January 2020)? I don't think so.

Names that are floating around that 'allegedly' Zidane wants in RM next season:

N'golo Kante (Chelsea)
Paul Pogba (Manchester United)
Eden Hazard (Chelsea)
Mbappe (PSG)
Mané (Liverpool)
Lucas Hernandez (Atletico Madrid)

No forwards...Not surprising, though, Zidane really likes Benzema.

And Eriksen (Tottenham).

First Monaco sacks Jardim and then takes him back 3 months later, now Real hires Zidane 9 months after letting him go.
One has to wonder if those clubs presidents have any idea what they're doing.
They literally wasted a whole season for their teams.

I suppose Zidane was given the guarantee he would get great signings this summer. One I'm willing to bet will sign is Belgian Eden Hazard. Both parties want to be together so I think it will happen.

The presidents make this moves just to calm down the fans. There is not a reason why Perez hired Zidane at this period of time when Real Madrid has 0 titles to chase.

They are 10 points ahead of 5th place, so they almost guaranteed to play in UCL next season. But there is one thing which should be fixed asap - it's terrible atmosphere in locker room. Conflict between Ramos and Marcelo during training session, Isco and Marcelo are unhappy because they barely get time to play, there is also various talks about Bale. Interesting how Zidane is going to solve these things. In summer it will be interesting to watch rebuilding of Real because it seems that Perez finally decided to open his wallet.

I'm not sure much can be done with the current squad, Most of the players are not the same level they used to be and they seem to be out of shape, the only they currently have is the past impressive with which people tend judge them based on, However the return of Zidane could spark some sort of life into the squad yet again.

Perhaps to improve the situation currently experienced by the team is incredibly collapsed,

Now we have that

I see we will be bombarded by Coutinho transfer to Man.United

Has Mourinho left any club in a normal way? Seems he got sacked almost everywhere he went and received huge compensations from his ex-clubs.
His strategy seems: extending the contract - messing up the atmosphere because of having issues with a player or several of them - getting sacked and getting a nice compensation.

José Mourinho has really found a good way to maximum his contract profit, by getting sacked from almost every contract he have been in. José Mourinho know that his time in Manchester was limited, so he ended up saying in The Lowry Hotel in Manchester for 895 nights.

Real could be that club for Mou.

Edit:  Maybe even PSG...?

Actually I like that idea, that would do some good to the players, they need a firm hand... but El Khelaifi, PSG's president has always picked easy to control coaches... guys like Blanc, Tuchel, Ancelotti do not make any waves, whether it's with the players (you don't wanna upset a superstar !) or with the higher powers in the club.

I don't think he's doing it deliberately.  And it's hard to find a club that gives the kind of support City gives for Pep (at City, the club was already preparing for Pep's arrival years before they actually got him).

Real could be that club for Mou.

There's a rumour that Neymar is going to Real Madrid. Is that something will really happen? Real Madrid is ready to offer 350 Million Euro to have Neymar on their camp. I guess it's just a rumour like after the world cup.

That rumour and the one about Mbappe leaving are just gonna intensify after PSG's loss the other day. We're gonna hear all kinds of stories about how these two players don't believe in PSG's project anymore, they wanna play in a bigger club... all it will do is get them a good contract raise. They'll stay in Paris, money is too good there.

Nothing from this transfer. Last think that I know is that Ramos will go to Juventus. Ramos had a serious conflict with President Florentino Perez after a match with barca and from what I could read tough word were said to each other. So Ramos decided to revenge to President Perez and express dissatisfaction in a special way by leaving club to Juve, where Ronaldo is from same reason..
