Lukaku, maybe he is bad transfer for United. Undecided

Yup.  In hindsight Mourinho could have been better off with Morata.  Lukaku isn't the 'new Drogba'.  The latter was always full of confidence, and with the ability to make goals from nothing.

Lukaku seems to lack the kind of arrogance or cockiness or that certain boldness that strikers need.

As soon as Lukaku was interested in Mourinho, I said that it would be the most disastrous transfer. Yes, he scores goals, but scores only weak teams. In big matches, Lukaku is simply lost on the field.

And do not forget other than just scoring goals into weak teams, he also just scored easy goals. Goals that all players can certainly do it easily too. He's a star at clubs like WBA, Everton, but in big teams like Manchester United he's just an ordinary striker, it's natural why Chelsea do not like Lukaku.

I am not your typical soccer/football fan (a you can tell I am based in north amercia where we don't watch as much soccer) although back in the day I did see Lukaku play when he was only 16 and he wasn't yet in the major pros or whatever.

About Barcelona, the club who needs many players to enrich his bench of substitutes :

Van dijk : the Southampton defender is one of the club's main goals to make up for Mascherano's departure in January.
Nabil Fekir : the Lyon striker is obsessed by playing with Lionel Messi in Barcelona, the French striker may leave for Barcelona in January.
Felippe Coutinho : Barça is no longer interested on him, as it was in the summer. The club is not willing to pay as much as it did last summer.

Van djik would be a quality sign for Barcelona, but he'll be a sub, will he be ok with that? there are many clubs interested in him like Liverpool or Man City, and the chances that he's in the starting XI in those clubs are higher than in Barcelona.

I don't think Fekir will go to Barcelona, at least not in January, right when Dembele is coming back from the injury. Fakir is having a really good season with Lyon, and I don't think he'd want to be a sub player right before the World Cup next year.

And Coutinho will go to Barcelona next summer. I'm 100% sure. If he goes to spain in january, he won't be able to play in the Champions League, and having a quality player like him not playing in the CL isn't exactly the best of decisions.

I think Felippe Coutinho could still be a good buy for barcelona if they decide to get him because his style is quite like that of the catalan club. Maybe Barcelona is playing for them to lower the price  by feigning a lack of interest but in the end we will all see what might happen

Van Dijk could have helped solve the whole conundrum with the Liverpool defense but because of their inability to get him this summer transfer window, I doubt they will have the opportunity to sign him since there are currently a lot of teams who are interested in buying him and am sure their offer will be more than the price Liverpool were previously going to pay.

Liverpool are likely to sell Felippe Coutinho and so they will have something in their coffers to buy Van Dijk if they so wish, i think he's a brilliant chap at the defense and it a real rock and should they secure him  and with M. Salah's stunning performances i think Liverpool will be tough again.

Players likely to leave :

Mesut ozil : having a contract ending in June of this year, all the coaches of the world dream to have this player in their squad, but the most serious are FC Barcelona and Man united, and I think that once he has arrived at each of them he will change a lot of things.
Javier pastore : yesterday the player did the goodbye to the spectators and he played his last match for PSG. Also, his agent confirmed this. Most likely the player will go to Inter Milan but Man united is interested too.

I believe that Manchester United are the ones in pole position to sign Mesut Ozil, he will be a very perfect fit for the Red Devils especially since Mkhitryan hasn't been able to replicate his last season performance and has been struggling a lot.

One thing I never understood was the drop in the Henrik Mkhitaryan's level after an exceptional start to the season, and in my opinion the negative results of Man united are following his return to the back. By the way there are rumors that proves the departure of this player during this current transfer window. Many clubs are interested in him like Juventus and his previous club Borussia Dortmund.
It is indeed true, his drop in performance is one of the reason why Manchester United are struggling recently, there hasn't been any good replacement for his position when he was dropped by Jose Mourinho for the last few games.

Yeah, Lukaku is a good striker, but for me, he's not the kind of striker for a top team like Manchester United. They need a world class striker, the likes of Lewandowski, Suarez, Cavani, Aguero, Higuain, Kane, etc. Lukaku would be in the starting XI of many teams, but he would not be in the starting 11 of the biggest clubs in Europe. Let's see if he can prove me wrong next year.

2 hours ago, a transfer has been made, Sandro Wagner from Hoffenheim to Bayern Munich and it is kind of looking for different solutions in Bayern's attack when Leva is not on its TOP.
Plus, Blaugrana will made maybe two good tranfers, David Luiz from Chelsea and Grizman From Atleti. I hope next days will bring good news.

Football is a very lucrative business and lots of rich people are seeing how profitable the game is, Even though Marseille are on a spending spree,  it seems Monaco is rather on a selling spree, it seems they are okay with not winning the Ligue title next year .
there's no way that Monaco will win any thing significant witg PSG around unless the FIFA finally step up first them and force them to sell some players but even with that Monaco would not have easy with them selling most of their players and they are still going to sell more with the likes if Thomas Learn us being monitored by four premier league teams like Chelsea Arsenal Liverpool and United also Juventus have their eyes on Monaco Defender Fabinho also Atletico Madrid would like home to come so with the current situation of Monaco I guess the players that were wanted by other clubs and didn't leave in summer will probably move out at the end of the season.

-Wagner (30 years old) is officially a new Bayern player. He has signed a contract until 2020.
-Coman (Bayern Monaco) renewed his contract until 2023

-Mkhitaryan should leave United in January. His most probable destination is Inter, but Dortmund is also interested in him.
-Inter is also interested in Bernard of Shakhtar

-Bonucci could resoundingly leave Milan after the negative results of this start of the season.
Manchester City, Psg and Chelsea are strongly interested in him.

-Allardyce (Everton) has requested 2 players: Nzonzi (Sevilla) and Walcott (Liverpool)
Bonucci agent still refuse this rumour although indeed Bonucci looks disappoint with Milan performance this season but his agent say Bonucci will never leave Milan at least until end of season and regarding which team would he pick apparently Manchester City still attempts to get him for this winter transfer window

Alexis Sanchez will not renew his contract with the London Arsenal. It is unfortunate that the gunners will lose such a talented player. Wonder which club will move Sanchez?

No sh*t Sherlock.  He would have been out last summer if Arsenal didn't mess the deal made with Man City.  City was supposed to acquire him, but LOL_Wenger wanted to change the deal at the last minute by wanting Raheem Sterling for Sanchez + cash.

Yeah...  Like Pep would even allow that.  Lol.
Sanchez will leave Arsenal unless it is offered a crazy contract with a huge salary. Arsenal is a team that doesn't make any claims. And so it goes every year.

Sanchez will be better at arsenal and shouldn't follow money to a team where he's going to be benched or couldn't come to the limelight due to their inability to win trophies. I know arsenal are not winning enough trophies currently but the EPL has offered him a lot of market value and exposure.
