What a disaster for Milan. They failed to get Mats Wieffer. Now, they are losing a chance to get Zirkzee. Bologna never sells players to their rival. Zirkzee has announced united probably becomes his next destination.

Even Zirkzee has rejected Arsenal's offer. But, Manchester United and Bologna have not had concrete talks about Zirkzee's transfer.

But, im still wondering what will happen to Zirkzee if Manchester United does a U turn for his transfer.  

I think it's just a coincidence that Arsenal's target is also of interest to Chelsea.

You're right. There is no way that Saliba will replace Carvajal. Saliba is a centre-back, meanwhile Carvajal is a right-back.
As far as I know, there are 2 players targeted by Real Madrid to replace Carvajal, they are Achraf Hakimi and Trent Alexander-Arnold. I don't know which player will be signed by Real Madrid, both of them are in the same level. Both Achraf Hakimi and Trent Alexander-Arnold deserve to replace Carvajal.

Since Nacho left Real Madrid, there are only 3 top centre-backs there. The performance of Éder Militão has been decreasing a lot after he experienced a long injury. So Real Madrid only has 2 strong centre-backs now. If Saliba joins Real Madrid, he can compete to be the main player there. Rudiger and Alaba are also getting old, Real Madrid needs some new players in that position.

Madrid want him and they wanted to try their luck if they can get him since Arsenal is making effort to bring Calafiori, so they will want to use their influence to bring him to strengthen their defense which if they succeed will be the best decision they would have made because Saliba is a very good and strong defender with experience and composure despite his age.
