Both Real Madrid and Chelsea were trying hard to hire Pedro Lima the young Brazilian player for the next season.
Since he is a 17-year-old player, he can be a good investment for the team he joins there and he can play there for years and become a superstar player because of the experience he has. While considering the power of Real Madrid I was expecting to see Real Madrid hire this player but this time it seems Chelsea won the race and they are very close to signing the contract with this player.
I'm not sure what Real Madrid expects from this player. Pedro Lima is a very young right-back to be expected to replace Carvajal, so I don't think Real Madrid will take this rumor as reality. So far Real Madrid is more likely to buy quality players than to recruit new stars in their team, of course they don't need more young players because good financial strength can help them find other quality players.

Pedro Lima is only 17 years old and he plays for Sport Recife in Brazil's Serie B. Of course he is looked at by scouts, but I don't think Real Madrid really need this player. If something is needed, then it is very possible for Real Madrid to bring in a quality right-back who can replace the aging Carvajal.
If we consider the age of the Spanish right-winger Lamine Yamal who is about 16 years of age and playing good football at Barcelona then,  Pedro Lima 17 can play much better too playing for Real Madrid as a young player. I think that for Real Madrid to go after him then they must have seen some potential in the young star for the future and he can stay at Madrid and gradually get that experience to play the madrista kinda of football. Real Madrid doesn't go for mediocre
Yes, if compared to maybe Pedro Lama can also develop well at Real Madrid and can occupy his position as a right-back and can be an asset for Real Madrid in the future if he can really bring in this young Brazilian player, but we don't know what Ancelotti and his staff will plan, maybe it will give a different impression in the next season because he has included Mbappe, there must be some changes in strategy regarding the structure of the game that will be poured, does he still need a right-back where currently it is still quite complete and good.

But when it comes to Chelsea, of course this is a potential business for TOD, he will buy more players again maybe for this season, we know that his habit is always to collect a lot of players and resell them or even kill someone's career because they don't get playing time and most of the substitutes in his cage.
It's a no, no, no for me Chelsea is not a good destination for the young lad considering his age and with lots of young players in the Chelsea team it makes my preference for real madrid more stronger because he needs to be in a team where he will eat in no time that needed experience he may be lacking due to his age and Madrid is just right for him with those sets of players.
Hahaha, of course no one would agree to be at chelsea especially a young player who is just developing, he needs experience and a lot of flying hours so that he can develop much better in the future, but what if Pedro Lima agreed to it because he wanted to be in the premier league? maybe we won't be able to, he has to compete with many other young players there to be able to become a chelsea starting eleven in order to get priority to play and in the next season he can look for a team that can buy him back.

Is this just speculation or their is some truth to what you are actually saying because I don't know and an pretty sure that Xabi Alonso doesn't have such plans for now about leaving Bayern Leverkusen for now. I think Xabi has already made it clear that he doesn't intend on leaving that club anytime soon atleast like you said he needs to first implement his legacy with the club first.
Xabi Alonso must gain more experience in the Bundesliga before he moves to another league.
He have stated that he will stay at Leverkusen next season and wants to strengthen his skills as a coach. But as said, Xabi Alonso will most likely find it very difficult to match his good record again after such a great season.

Several new players will be brought in to strengthen the team next season. But no matter how much Xabi wants to maintain his team's performance next season, I am sure he will never be able to repeat this history. I can probably expect Leverkusen to be in the top 4 of the standings, but this really depends on how the players do their job in each match. Next season will probably be Xabi Alonso's last at Leverkusen, of course because he will also be very interested in gaining other experience in some great teams.

Just imagine Xabi Alonso with the Leverkusen squad this season is already very good, especially if from a financial perspective it is fully supported, then Xabi will be even more able to maximize the players he wants to buy. Because Xabi is a genius coach, he prefers young players whose potential he can develop. In terms of player selection, there is no doubt that Xabi has longterm goals for Leverkusen's future while investing in young players. After next season, Xabi is likely to leave Leverkusen to replace Ancelotti at Real Madrid. With the remaining time he has, Xabi wants to create his legacy first with Leverkusen.

For me, all of this does not rule out the possibility that Alonso will eventually leave Bayer Leverkusen to focus more on his career with a more established and strong club and team. As previously rumored, Xabi is quite popular with several elite clubs in various leagues. Well, what's unique is that this former midfielder refuses to change teams in the near future. it seems, Xabi Alonso has other prospects and plans for him and Leverkusen. IMO, I don't see that Xabi is planning or thinking about leaving a legacy but rather establishing his career with Leverkusen before he actually manages another elite team. for example Bayern Munich, Real Madrid or a Premier League team. that's why, I assume that Xabi prefers to stay and extend his contract at BayArena.

I remembered Xabi Alonso's previous statement, he said he was grateful to Leverkusen for giving him trust after being appointed. He also once said, more or less like this, we believe in the same ideas and direction on the field, creating close affinity and trust between the club management and himself. Apart from that, Alonso also said that when he was linked with Real Madrid. If I'm not mistaken, he said that he was still not worthy to handle a team as big as El Real. "BTW, correct me if I'm wrong." with his humility, and maybe he needs time to get to the next level, therefore he is more determined to stay with Bayer Leverkusen. After this season, it is possible that Alonso will be willing to handle other teams, especially elite teams in various leagues. But before we speculate too far, let's just enjoy it first because the 2024-2025 season hasn't even started yet.

Chelsea owner, Todd Boehly will do everything to ensure there's good heights to win matches, it's all a matter of time. When we talk about experience, there's actually more things to push forward about and we should always know what's coming in for the big ones. There's actually more work to accomplish for these big clubs because they've always come out to be straight when it comes to winning. These elite teams will now focused on the promising young talents, they've become desperate for the signing.

I can't even image how crazy Xabi Alonso will be once he manages a large team like Real Madrid. We can imagine that one of best coach and greatest team in the world . Xabi was struggling throughout his debut season with Leverkusen. AFAIK, Levekusen was also performing well under Gerardo Seoane. It was able to finish in the top three at 21/22. Xabi joined Leverkusen in the second half of the season, at 22/23, because Gerardo Seoane had not performed well since the beginning of the season. So Leverkusen chose to fire him and hire Xabi Alonso as a temporary caretaker for the team. Leverkusen should do that in order to make sure club could able to participate in the european competition

Abou Xabi and Madrid. I've heard that Real Madrid has plans to bring Xabi and his favorite player, Florian Wirtz, to Madrid. Ancellotti's contract may extend until 2026, but it does not rule out the prospect of an extension with Real Madrid. We know how madrid is very respecting him as one of greatest coach that was always helping madrid to go to the its peak performance
Real Madrid has clearly identified Xabi Alonso as the strongest contender to replace Ancellotti whenever he leaves the club. So many rumors have been appearing but we will see that soon.

Xabi + Real Madrid = unbeatable clubs in all competitions.

Definitely if Xabi Alonso moves to Real Madrid after his contract must have expired at Bayern Leverkusen he will do well for the Madrid team because Real Madrid has great talented players already so any coach can cope very well with the squad and for the fact that Xabi Alonso was able to go last season unbeaten in the Bundesliga means he is good to manage a prestigious club like Real Madrid. For the fact that Xabi Alonso took over from Gerardo Seoane and was able to lead the team to victory just a year after means that if he is given bigger contract he can as well deliver without any fear.
Even though the speculation about Xabi Alonso coming to Madrid is a rumour but there is not smoke without a fire so since the rumour is already in air, it is likely to be true. Florian Wirtz is a good player and Xabi Alonso's favourite player so he can decide to take him along to Real Madrid if he eventually have the opportunity to coach the team.

I just heard this name and he seems quite promising. But I don't think Real Madrid will take him considering the depth of their squad is already so good. But if Real Madrid want to take him and loan him to another club, that could still happen. We know that Real Madrid often does this for its young players.

On the other hand, it would be much more useful if Pedro Lima just joined Chelsea because the team still needs improvement for next season and it is felt that his abilities will be quite helpful for the Blues. Apart from that, of course the EPL would be much better off increasing their intensity as players and competing for the main places.

Maybe for today's composition Real Madrid has enough players and they don't need Pedro Lima to be able to collaborate in the team but if you think for the long term it is likely that he will be taken if indeed Pedro Lima has above-average talent that can be relied on when he matures after training at Madrid's home, What I know is that Rea Madrid likes to buy potential players and they improve the ability of the players they buy very well so far.

Money is enough for Real Madrid if only looking for a replacement for Carvajal, but even so he is still useful and still in top form so it is possible to keep him or maybe retire at Real Madrid for Carvajal, just look at Modric still surviving to this day and he is still quite good at the game he is doing even though he is old.

Looks like we are going to get another great coach. We know how great knowledge that he actually has about football. I will actually say that he has almost the same level of knowledge as Alonso. And we all know how Alonso is doing with Leverkusen. So if he actually becomes a coach in the future, I think the expectation is going to be pretty high. But that might be a long way away from now. I believe now he is going to rest for a while. That is absolutely fine by the way. A man should be able to enjoy his retirement. Especially after what he has done in his career.

Bayer Leverkusen complete first signing as 2005 born defender Jeanuël Belocian joins from Rennes.
This is a five-year contract, fee of almost 15m for the France U21 centre-back on Xabi Alonso’s side.

This is actually really good to see. We know that Xabi Alonso does not have a lot of money to spend right now. At least not like Bayern Munich or other very rich clubs. So Alonso is more interested in bringing in young talents who are not going to cost a lot of money and will still be able to perform well. I personally do not see any big problem with the defense of Leverkusen, especially when I look at the matches that they have played in the Bundesliga.

But when I see the performance from them in the Europa League final, I start to think that maybe the defending needs to be better. And that's probably what Alonso has also thought. That's why he has started to make the defense stronger. A young player like Jeanuël Belocian playing under a coach like Alonso, it's going to turn out to be great for this kid.

1. Zirkzee.
2. Evan Ferguson.
3. Viktor Gyokeres.
Let's check their statistics.

Zirkzee, an one season wonder player and didn't get selected for Netherlands's national team tl;dr bad player.

Evan Ferguson, was a potential player who perform good in Brighton Youth team, but flop in Senior career for 3 years, tl;dr bad player.

Viktor Gyokeres, played very well for Coventry City and Sporting Lisbon tl;dr good player.

Arsenal should sign Gyokeres and avoid to sign the other two players.

Zirkzee, Ferguson and Gyokeres are very talented young players and have a great chance of becoming star players in the future, among the three players of course Gyokeres is more likely to be recruited by Arteta to strengthen Arsenal attacking line next season, Arsenal previously targeted to bring in Benjamin Sesko from Leipzig to be a target for Arsenal next season,  But Arsenal failed to get him after Sesko preferred to stay at Leipzig next season, so finally Arsenal had to target another striker to be able to their recruit, Osimhen was also a transfer target from Arsenal But the price asked by Napoli also made Arsenal withdraw at this time.

So far Arsenal have actually been linked with a lot of attackers but it seems that there are no players close to them including Gyokeres, Ferguson and also Zirkzee at the moment, but even so of course it is not wrong for us to judge who is the most suitable for Arsenal, so far Zirkzee has stated that he really dreams of playing with Milan and even reportedly Zirkzee and Milan are now close to reaching an agreement,as for Ferguson, he has just signed a new contract with Brighton, so I think of course it is difficult to get him, so Gyokeres is indeed a realistic target for Arsenal, especially before he has experience playing in the English team so it is not difficult for him to adapt.

There will always be an end to a coach's career, there is no guarantee that Ancelotti will continue to coach Real Madrid in the next few years. Every generation will continue to change, old coaches will always be replaced by new coaches, regardless of the reason, it is impossible for Ancelotti to be able to handle Real Madrid forever. Alonso is predicted to be an ideal replacement for Real Madrid based on the results achieved by Leverkusen this season.

Of course Leverkusen success is not a coincidence and it is very difficult to break Bayern Munich's dominance in the title race. Dortmund have been trying to end Bayern Munich dominance for years, but their efforts have always ended in failure. Only Xabi Alonso was able to do it and it didn't take him long to improve Leverkusen's performance into a tough team. Next season will be a new challenge for Alonso, he must maintain what he has achieved this season to strengthen the public's assumption of his ability as a quality coach.
Absolutely, has one day later with Carlo Ancelotti announce hi self retired from head coach position exactly he won all trophies with several club from domestic league until Champion League. Due his age over and want spend more time with his family has moment for Ancelotti leaving Real Madrid around two or three season later. Its regeneration in football manager position with youth manager will fill some important place leaving by senior head coach.
Xabi Alonso become strong candidate replacing Carlo Ancelotti as Real Madrid manager one day later exactly with Bayern Leverkusen Alonso success showing his best perform and won the Bundesliga and DFB Pokal Cup in one season. If can consistent perform next season, I think Xabi Alonso will be more interested manager for several top teams.

Xabi Alonso, he's a winner. He transformed Leverkusen with these talented young players. But to win at the top level, the Champions League, you need more. Need some experienced men who've been there, done that. Young talent will be superstars, but you need winning experience to teach them.

As for Real Madrid? Ancelotti is going nowhere. He's a superb coach who's improving Madrid. Xabi is smart enough to stay at Leverkusen while building something great. Maybe down the line, a few Champions League titles under his belt, then we'll talk. But he's doing wel at his job right now. Lets see what this Leverkusen team can really do before we start making predictions.

I also spent a few minutes thinking about what the Manchester United management has in mind, what goals they have. because it seems to me that it is not in the interest of the management of Manchester United to win the Premier League and win the European Champions League, because when you look at the current level of Manchester United, to be honest, it is not a level capable of winning the Premier League , even if they keep Ten Hag and sign more players, in my opinion Manchester United will continue to be a disaster of a team, only when the Manchester United management hire a good coach who has great experience in the Premier League, someone like Guardiola when his contract with manchester city ends or if they hired xavi, ex barcelona coach, we would see manchester united become a very strong team capable of winning the premier league

Manchester United is a team at that level and the target of winning is the most natural thing when they spend a lot of money to recruit quality/new players, but this is not easy, everything requires a process and Manchester United is going through that process with Ten Hag.
Manchester United management has changed coaches in the last few seasons so there is no reason to look for a coach and expect instant achievements. Everything needs a process and in my opinion what Manchester United management is currently doing is correct.
Now Ten Hag only needs a few additional quality new players to fill the squad and I think Man United under Ten Hag will be much better next season.
Ten Hag added many actors to the cast. Anthony came especially of his own accord and we all see how unsuccessful he is now at Manchester United. Amrabat is also one of the players who is not productive. If you say so, he had a terrible year considering his transfer budget. I don't think they will succeed under Ten Hag. Manchester United should first change the coach.
Manchester United must have been smart here because if they were to sack their current manager, who would take charge of their club was a big question for them. Bayern Munich, after letting go of an experienced manager, are realizing they shouldn't have let go in the first place. Ten Hag is quite experienced and has been working at Manchester United for a long time. He has improved Manchester United considerably, although he has not been able to make significant changes to Manchester United. As he has been given another chance next season, he will definitely try to make the most of this opportunity and do his best to save his job as well as his team's good performance. If Manchester United makes some plans and appoints some quality players in some positions, then this team's performance will definitely be good.
For now, the club's decision has been made and Manchester United will remain with Erik Ten Hag next season and it is even reported that there will be a contract extension for the coach.  Grin
So let's look forward to seeing how Manchester United will do next season. Currently, Manchester United has also returned to focusing on hunting for players in the transfer market. because their business regarding the decision regarding Ten Hag has also been completed. So now their focus has shifted to the transfer market. I understand how doubts have arisen in Ten Hag there. Because I also always pay attention to the development of Manchester United. And to be honest, Erik Ten Hag's first season was indeed successful in building a good squad, but in the second season the squad experienced another setback. So it's natural that someone doubts Ten Hag. Because to be honest, I myself am a person who doubts Ten Hag. But it is possible that next season Manchester United will rise again. Because they also won't have a difficult match like the UCL. but they will compete in the Europa League. Which level is below the UCL. And I hope Manchester United rediscovers its former glory. Even though I think many people doubt Ten Hag, if he can prove it next season by bringing great progress to Manchester United then that will be enough to dispel everyone's doubts.

I completely agree with you but I don't understand why he is looking for a defender? Leverkusen has the best defense in the Bundesliga so bringing in Jeanuel Belocian means there's a bit of doubt there? 15 Million is a low price for a player 19 year old, can we assume that this is a Leverkusen Investment? I mean they will let this player go if he has a higher market value. This is Leverkusen's first transfer for this season and I really don't understand what Xabi Alonso's plan. sometimes he is unpredictable.

By the way, last season Leverkusen only spent 83 million to bring in several players and for next season I'm sure he gets more budget, the question is whether he will succeed in building the best team in Europe with the available budget? this will be interesting to wait for while the transfer window is open.

I think Ancelotti cannot leave Real Madrid. He contributed a lot to Real Madrid. He won many titles and now I am sure that he will have a long future in Madrid. If Xabi waits for him to leave the team, he will not be able to manage the team at Real Madrid for many years. This year's situation will show whether his success in Leverkusen is a coincidence. If they finish the year as champions this year too, then things may change, of course.

Kevin De Bruyne has always had a place of honor at Manchester City, he will not leave as long as he is still fit to play. There is a lot of speculation about De Bruyne's future as he will leave for the Saudi League but it looks like he will finish his contract in Manchester. City also don't want to be careless in making decisions, Gundogan's departure last season had a big impact on the team, especially if they lose the Belgian man again, City will lose its identity. Guardiola will let KDB go if he can find the right replacement.
If it's Kevin De Bruyne that wants to leave, then I don't think Manchester City has any option to keep him, but if it's for the fact is Guardiola that wants to sell him, and selling him when they've not gotten a good replacement , would be an ugly decision to make as we've seen number of time when Manchester City played without De Bruyne and how majority of those games thy found it difficult winning them.
De Bruyne from observation is a player I believe Pep Guardiola really like, and I'm yet to see reasons why he would be sold since he's still fit to player and not in any serious injury, and except they want to sell him for profit making.

De Bruyne is a great midfielder and has contributed a lot to Manchester city so he is still very much active even though he suffered some injuries last season that made him on and off play but however, even those periods that De Bruyne was absent due to injury, the team was doing alright but you can easily dual the difference between when Manchester city is playing without him and when he is being featured in a match so for now Manchester city should keep him maybe they can decide to sell him after Guardiola's contract expires in 2026 however, Manchester city already has the money if they want to buy more players but selling De Bruyne at this time will be meaningless
