Hmm that's some peculiar twist to everything, I actually thought he was in tight with the french giants@PSG. because they would definitely need him there too since the likes of mbappe have left the club on free transfer and there would be a big vacuum in that club but coming to England would be a really good move for the striker seeing how things are tensed up and it will also open an opportunity for him to battle it out in terms of goals scoring with the likes of Harland and other explosive strikers and competition is what you need to actually do yourself to the fullest.

They did the wrong thing from the start, how dependent they were on Mbappe, and that's what made them feel a deep sense of loss after Mbappe said he would not renew his contract and their next season was certain to be without this player. I understand that Mbappe's abilities make them dependent on him, but actually they can already make preparations because in a team players will come and go at any time.
What I see is that they weren't ready for that, so they were confused, and it even took them a very long time to persuade Mbappe, even though in the end they were never able to convince Mbappe again to stay with them.

These players you mentioned didn't just wake up one morning and became the strongest force in their respective leagues. They actually worked hard for it and rightfully earned the attentions they get in their respective leagues. For a player to be so good that he can single-handedly win important games for his team, it's normal thing for the team to be built around such player. Cristiano Ronaldo and his protege Kylian Mbappe are two players that their influence in any team they're playing for is always beyond normal because of the positive impact they bring to the team.
In the last six seasons, Kylian Mbappe haven't just been Paris Saint Germaine's best player and top performer but has also been top scorer in the French league. That's the kind of impact he posseses and that's why he's move away from the club is expected to affect the team. Of course, any footballer can be replaced, and one way or another the club (especially such a dominant one as PSG) will continue to win, but this does not mean that there is no significant difference between the departed star and the one who replaces him. An agreement between Al Duhail and Lazio regarding the transfer of Luis Arberto has been reached where Lazio will get €11 million from the sale of Arberto.

They did the wrong thing from the start, how dependent they were on Mbappe, and that's what made them feel a deep sense of loss after Mbappe said he would not renew his contract and their next season was certain to be without this player. I understand that Mbappe's abilities make them dependent on him, but actually they can already make preparations because in a team players will come and go at any time.
What I see is that they weren't ready for that, so they were confused, and it even took them a very long time to persuade Mbappe, even though in the end they were never able to convince Mbappe again to stay with them.
