I admire young signings that will serve as backup replacement for the key players. Chelsea will always shined themselves towards their opponents, this is the moment I'm finally acquainted with the club's performance and the budget mapped by Todd Boehly and Mauricio Pochettino. Chelsea not in regular competition this season because they struggle from the very early beginning of the English Premier League campaign but this will always portrays the fact that winning is consistent and straight for clubs that picked themselves up and persuade for crucial winnings. Chelsea in pursuit for young talents is impressive but this should also mean that they should also relent from accomplishing their top targets.
Last season Chelsea finished in the middle of the standings, so for me it doesn't matter this season if the Blues fail to get into the top 4 or 5. Because it has reached this point, it feels like it has shown a change for the better. No need to rush, let the young players enjoy the process little by little. The Blues have Palmer as the spearhead who is starting to show his quality, as time goes by several other young players will also develop. Chelsea does not lack a budget even though Todd Boehly is considered too wasteful. At least when compared to Manchester United, Chelsea is certainly better this season and has brought positive improvements.
Manchester United will reportedly be active in the transfer market to improve their poor performance, but we'll see whether Ten Hag choice of players is still the same or slightly better. The reason is, the only way for Manchester United to improve its poor performance depends on the player purchasing policy that Ten Hag will implement. If the goal is still to add players from Ajax, I don't think there will be any surprising changes next season.
I agree to your sentiment here bro, Chelsea are quite better than last season, but they have really been poor during the cause of the season, and it's because of this their present form at this closing stage of the season that has kept them in the league table this high.
To be sincere, and actually not a fan of Todd boehly, because he has practically reduced the Chelsea I know to an average team, though the younger players are trying, but experience is very vital if they can return back to their glory days, so I would have suggest that the management of the club use this summer transfer window to recruit only experience players, that can help the younger players to blossom.
And lastly, though most people will disagree with me, but I still feels like the position of the manager still needs to be looked into, because their are more capable manager out there, that can return this Chelsea team to it past glory, someone like hamsick flick, alegri, if he is actually fired by Juventus, and jose Mourinho if he would agree to come back, that's what I think it's best, I don't know if anyone feels differently.
