Even without bringing in a new striker, PSG will still be the team that dominates Ligue 1. Because there the competition is not as tight as the Premier League and I agree that these two leagues cannot be compared in terms of competition and also the players. EPL teams can be unpredictable teams and sometimes even those at the bottom of the table are still able to match the play of top elite teams. Meanwhile, in Ligue 1, I don't see that kind of competition, so if Osimhen wants to challenge himself to become a quality player, then the Premier League is a suitable choice. But if you just want to have a comfort zone, just choose PSG but that doesn't guarantee that he is a great striker in the eyes of other European clubs. Honestly in League 1 there is nothing interesting and it is very monotonous because PSG is the most dominant club for a long time and will continue to be the same.

Enrique is forming his squad with several young players who will form his core squad next season, especially if Mbappe really leaves. that's why currently, PSG has a lot of young players. as you said, without having to bring in another striker next summer, Enrique will still be able to bring PSG to dominate the French League.
however, the problem is not because in Ligue 1 the competition is not as tight as in other leagues. rather, PSG will need an established striker to compete in the Champions League. That's why, I'm pretty sure Paris Saint-Germain already has several names on their radar in the next summer transfer window and one of them is Osimhen who has always been linked. although, I don't know the actual facts. Actually it all comes back to Osimhen, if it turns out that Paris Saint-Germain wants his services. at least, his motivation for the Champions League. Thus, it could be a challenge for Osimhen to bring PSG to win the most prestigious competition.

But if Osimen chooses the Premier League, it would be better for him to showcase the talents and skills he has. because, in the Premier League there are many competitors who can motivate them to develop further. However, any team that wants to sign Osimhen in this summer's transfer window must be willing to dig deep into their pockets to use his services.

Newcastle's unwanted transfer mistakes have made this season not go well for them.
Actually for this season the steps taken by Howe are actually very good where they bring in several players including Tonali who in fact is one of the very good assets because at a very young age he became a promising player because of his good performance, it's just that there were some unexpected situations where Tonali had problems with illegal bets made him get problems and a ban on playing even until the end of this season he will not be able to compete which makes Newcastle experience problems in midfield because it cannot balance the squad because Tonali was included in Howe's previous plan.

This is what makes Newcastle troublesome even though their momentum last season was very good but because of some unexpected mistakes it made them this season experience destruction.
Another reason why Newcastle experienced a setback this season was due to injuries. At the start of the season, Eddie Howe squad performance was quite consistent in winning. Along the way, a storm of player injuries haunted them, and coupled with the Tonali case, their situation worsened. Meanwhile, in terms of player transfers, Newcastle can actually easily recruit players even though the prices are expensive, because after changing ownership, Newcastle has now turned into a club that has strong finances.

Newcastle management must pay close attention to its policies when wanting to buy players in each transfer market, they have to pay attention to the FFP rules too, so that they don't get sanctions like that in the future. Apart from that, currently there are 9 Newcastle players who are still struggling with injuries, while one other, namely Tonali, is still sidelined due to sanctions until the end of August. Overall, the depth of Newcastle's squad is actually quite good, but to be able to compete in the top four next season, Eddie Howe needs to reshuffle his starting XI.
Well, the injury problem is also one of the problems that cannot be solved because some of the core players are currently still under treatment even though some players have been declared recovered but some other players must be sure to rest for a long time and one of the most unfortunate players in this case is Sven Botman, who indeed even though he is one of the players who in my opinion has good potential but indeed with injuries that are always severe for this player, it makes Newcastle even more inconvenient to make a breakthrough.
After previously Botman had a knee problem then now he has to feel the ACL which of course this makes his career hampered because we know the ACL definitely takes time to heal.

It's not a very good season for Newcastle but they can still make a breakthrough next season, it's just that the question now is whether Howe's position will remain safe or not.

Neymar's career went down because of himself. His wild partying habits have left him unable to maintain his physical condition, meaning his injuries are more difficult to recover from. In terms of natural talent, he is not inferior to Messi or Ronaldo, even better if he plays with a little more discipline. Moving to PSG may have been Neymar's mistake, but it brought a lot of advertising money to PSG as well as enhanced their image when their squad had a trio of super players, Neymar - Messi - Mbappe.
When he moved from Barca to PSG, I saw that Neymar's enthusiasm for competition had dropped. So even if he stayed at Barca, Neymar's contribution would no longer be the same as before, so Barca selling Neymar was a quite reasonable decision at that time, in my opinion.

Why are you sounding like you don't like Neymar. If you check Brazil players from the days of Ronaldinho, you will know that they like party as if it's their birth right, they don't joke with, even Ronaldinho retired early but had an incredible career but clubbing and party made him broke but Messi and some players didn't left him and he has adjusted. Vinicious is from Brazil too and he likes to party but I think he is smart, he does weird stuff too but man is trying and doesn't joke with his career.

The only thing I think affected Neymar was because he is not too strong, he get injury frequently on any stamp or attack from any players, it's not because he loves to party. How many times has he even appeared to be partying since he came to Saudi Arabia, it was the injury that made him to fell off.

Osimeh can end to PSG, according to il Corriere dello Sport, they are willing to pay the release clause of 120m €.
In this winter their president said it will be sold, probably in Premier, but need to also consider the will of the player.

Many English team can also sign him, In the end it will go where they will pay the biggest salary to him I guess, since the price is fixed at 120m to Napoli.

Manchester United can be a valid alternative imho.

In my opinion, if he goes to Manchester United, then he will destroy his career, at Manchester United he won't achieve anything relevant, they won't win the Premier League, even if he stays at Manchester United for 10 seasons. At Manchester United he will not win the European Champions League even if he stays at Manchester United for 10 seasons and knowing that the management of Manchester United has no concrete plan to hire a good coach who has already won the Premier League, the Champions League European champions many times so I could make Manchester United a strong team again

Unfortunately, the management of Manchester United does not have these plans, and it is a management that does not have great objectives. That's why I don't see it being a good idea for Osimeh to go to Manchester United. I also hope he doesn't agree to go to Chelsea because it's another team like Manchester United and he wouldn't achieve anything relevant if he went to Chelsea, it would destroy his career. while if he accepts to play for PSG then he will make a better choice, because at PSG he would win the League 1 title and have a chance of winning the European Champions League. unfortunately Osimeh was not lucky that real madrid wanted him, it would have been the best thing for his career if he played for real madrid

For options there is still Brahim who is ready to be deployed anywhere so in this case I think Madrid can still bring Mbappe with the current conditions where there are several formation schemes that can actually be done and Madrid's scheme becomes difficult to guess with Mbappe in it.
With the presence of the versatile Brahim Diaz and the potential addition of Kylian Mbappe, Real Madrid gets tactical flexibility and formation variations that can make it difficult for opponents to predict. Brahim is ready to play in various positions, while Mbappe with his speed and skills will add a dimension to Madrid's attack. With these players, Madrid can adjust formations and tactics dynamically according to the needs of the match, and I think makes them more difficult to deal with and more adaptive on the pitch.
Therefore, if in the end it is for next season we will see Mbappe at the Bernabeu actually I think it actually makes Madird even more complex and not to get rid of each other because the situation is getting better for them.

Indeed, in this case we also know that in the end the competition for the core position is getting more difficult but on the other hand isnt that a fair thing because after all, when we talk about the problem of competition for the core club I think it will happen wherever you are when you become a player who is under contract to a club so it is a natural thing because after all, a big club must be getting stronger as well as the tension of competition but as long as they still have the opportunity to play i think it is still a good thing . Joselu will definitely not be available for next season so Brahim is definitely the best option Madrid have to strengthen their squad in attack.

Barcelona recently enquired over Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, but a deal seems all but impossible.

Source: https://www.footballtransfers.com/en/transfer-news/es-primera-division/2024/04/barcelona-transfer-news-khvicha-kvaratskhelia-real-madrid-napoli-arsenal-chelsea

The thing is this 23-year-old player is a great player. I am also not surprised if a lot of clubs are very interested in him. But watching Barcelona being at the top of the clubs that are interested in him definitely doesn't make sense to me. Because Barcelona should understand that just because he had a little bit of trouble to perform well, doesn't mean that they are going to sell him for low price. And I absolutely agree that Barcelona simply doesnt have the money for him as said in the article. He will also stay as I dont think he has any wish to leave. So Barcelona has no business trying to get him. It is obviously a good idea for Barcelona to try to improve the squad but they should think about the money first.

Neymar is a very talented player, but injuries ruined his career. In this transfer deal, I believe PSG did not lose money, they probably made a lot of money from recruiting him and selling him to Saudi Arabia. The only losers are probably Barcelona and even Neymar himself. If he had remained at Barcelona, perhaps his career would not have been inferior to that of his seniors.
Neymar's career went down because of himself. His wild partying habits have left him unable to maintain his physical condition, meaning his injuries are more difficult to recover from. I agree that Neymar cannot control himself like some other star players have to be able to limit themselves. As a professional player, of course you have to be able to choose what is good for your health, he can actually be on par with Messi, Ronaldo and Mbappe because in terms of quality I don't doubt it. However, all of that vanished when an injury occurred, and an irregular lifestyle put his career at risk. At PSG his career has ended and now at Al Hillal it is clear that he cannot be useful at all and there is no positive contribution to the club. It is not surprising that Al Hillal is dissatisfied with his recruitment. However, that was also part of their mistake in rushing to bring in Neymar because it was clear that at PSG his contribution had decreased. It can't be helped, we as football fans are quite sad to see the career of a great player like Neymar end with an unclear status.

We can't compare Ligue 1 and the English Premier League, because if players want to get an extraordinary experience, clearly the English Premier League is the best choice, and so does Victor Osimhen. He has abilities that can develop further, and personally I would regret it if he chose Ligue 1 for his next competition, because I think it would hinder his development a little. Not without reason, because in Ligue 1 there is no tight competition so that will make it comfortable, and when players feel comfortable then they might become lazy.
Meanwhile, in the English Premier League, competition is very tight, if players are too lazy to practice then they will be far behind other players. There you can also form a very good mentality, because in almost every match, they will face opponents who are very likely to pose a very big threat to them. So in my opinion if Osimhen wants to move, then it is better to go to the English Premier League.

Actually there is no need to compare between league 1 and PL because it has been proven that PL is more popular than league 1 so it is not surprising that striker players who are great in league 1 may not necessarily be able to perform well when they are in other leagues such as PL or series A because of the competition between clubs very different.
Talking about Osimhen, I agree with you, if you really think about money, Osimhen is welcome to accept the offer from PSG, but if you want to achieve very valuable achievements and interesting experiences, joining a PL club is clearly the best choice because there the future of his career will be better compared to in league 1 which is likely to have the same fate as Mbappe who only won league 1. Even though PSG always competes in the UCL every season, there is no guarantee that PSG will be able to win this big title, if I were Oshimen it would be better for me to choose a more convincing club .

PSG is smart to be chasing Osimhen. This guy, hes got the potential to be the next big thing, right up there with Haaland and Mbappe. €120 million? Honestly, sounds like a bargain considering what he brings to the table. He might not be hitting peak form right now, but very few players can do that year after year. I'd bet my best golf course that he's itching to prove himself in the Premier League - its the most challenging out there. Man United or Chelsea would be smart to snag him.  PSG can throw huge money at him. Plus, stepping into Mbappe's shoes, the Paris lifestyle... hard to turn that down.

Yes I agree it is highly unlikely that Barcelona would have a chance if it comes down to competing bids between them and Chelsea. As you said, waiting two years for a transfer until the player can play is not something that Barcelona would be able to afford in their current financial situation.

Is this rule fixed that he would have to wait 2 years until he can play? What I don't get is that other players have played in La Liga before they turned 18, or not? 18 sounds so old and there are many players who get their first experience at the age of 17 and even 16.

I think it’s not a rule but you can’t buy them direct to your first team rather they will be registered under your academy and then you offer them promotion. Also I think the amount is the worry because you can’t buy a teenager that amount according to FFP rules and maybe that’s why they want to take the route of allowing him be with his boyhood club before the age which he can sign his first professional contract

Ok I found this website and it is as you described that they can gather some experience with the first La Liga team when they are playing for their academy and then sporadically act as substitutes in La Liga games. But there is no fixed rule for a minimum age or something. Instead, there are international FIFA rules and the idea is that those rules are to be followed if there is no other national rule set.

One important aspect of those rules is that signing players under 18 is only accepted if the player comes from Spain or some nighbor country. I think it was the same with this kid that Real Madrid signed for a lot of money when they agreed that he will join the club when he is about to turn 18.

If the goal is to protect the players' childhood and youth, I think there are a lot of other things that could be done as well. But when a player is really good enough to compete with adults, I think there is no issue with letting them play at 17 or so. There will always be these unbelievable exceptions and as long as they are treated with caution, giving them playing time at a younger age shouldn't be an issue.

The Premier League is the perfect destination to develop talent and increase prestige, and it is clear that if Osimhen arrives it will create new competition. Joining PSG is also not wrong, but there are no significant challenges because PSG is very dominant every season. With abundant financial power, a club like PSG will offer Napoli a crazy price to make their wish come true. Speculation about Osimhen's future is now getting hotter, because the season will soon end and the transfer window will open again.
Napoli will become reluctant when it comes to letting go of the Nigeria international who have become the most valuable player in the team. Napoli will always become one of the best Seria A side this season, they're more focused on essential development and improvement for the club. The club's president, Aurelio De Laurentiis means the best and have become very straight when it comes to dealing. Victor Osimhen will focused on the big winnings and moving to the English Premier League have always been his dream.

Ruben Amorim has also started to be rumoured for the Liverpool job after Klopp leaves by the end of this season. He has a really good career in Portugal so far. His whole life has been there as well. He has achieved really nice things with Sporting at the same time. His current contract with Sporting expires in 2026.
Even though he had very good achievements in the oortugal there are still many fans who have zero knowledge about him. It seems like he was only popular in Portugal, which can be a golden chance for him to increase his popularity among all the football fans in the world.
I have a lot of respect for him because he is showing his interest in coaching Liverpool. I think that amorim becomes the most favorite candidate to be recruited by liverpool. The red is still in talks with him, and I expect this to finish at the end of the season.
Let's see how many years will be deal between him and the reds.

Do you believe he could be a candidate for Liverpool? I'm not sure honestly.  Sad  There must be better options than him as well. It isn't easy to find a manager who can be at least as successful as Klopp. If they find a manager who knows the team and league well it would be faster in terms of adaptation.
I do and why not? He is good enough to manage the club. It was proven when sports sent Arsenal out from the European League last season even though Arsenal was still at its peak performance.
I'm not even doubt it to happen since Amorim also has impressive stats in the Portugal league. He is capable enough to coach the big club.

It's not impossible. however, I doubt any deal like that would go through. Why would a Premier League club pay €100m or more for a player who hasn't scored 15 goals a season since 2017? It's clear that Rodrygo's performance at Real Madrid isn't impressive, and because he's been inconsistent, his club wants to offload him. Spending such a large amount on Rodrygo would be a risky move. He hasn't shown his full potential yet. So, the question is, who really needs Rodrygo?

Rodrygo is actually a right winger but Ancelotti has used him as a centre-forward so far in the season. I think it would be better to see him back in his natural position. Because he is much more productive there. In the previous season Ancelotti did exactly that and he had stats like 10 goals, 9 assists in 26 games as a right winger.  Smiley

The reason why I told this is that he is actually a really capable player when he plays in the right position. I can't say he is bad because of that. Would his transfer to Manchester City happen? I'm not so sure because I believe Ancelotti cares about him.

If you can think Rodrygo isn't impressive, how about Real Madrid that sign a 17 years old boy named Endrick who only scored 19 goals from 68 matches for 60 Million Euros? how about the new rumor that they want to sign a 18 years old boy named Luis Guilherme who didn't even score any goal from 34 matches for 47 Million Euros?

That's why 100 Million Euros for Rodrygo is worth it if we compare to shitty players.

And indeed last season was their best performance over the last few seasons, but after that Newcastle lost the confidence and stability of performance that they should have maintained.
From what has gone through this season I would say that Newcastle will return to the way it was before, the only big league that can possibly be participated in is the European League and all of this is also happening because Newcastle cannot keep up with the development of other teams which are getting better.

I think there is only one way to make Newcastle perform optimally with big changes, they have to have the courage to spend large amounts of money on developments that improve the quality of playing performance.
Changing coaches, selling several players who are not so important and bringing in several players with good quality are steps that must be taken by Newcastle because all team have experienced significant improvements in performance.
If Newcastle does not keep up with developments and changes then they will definitely continue to be left behind, almost all leagues have team that have shown quite significant improvements in performance this season.
And next season maybe the competition for Newcastle will be even tougher in the English League and European League if they qualify.
How bad are things with Newcastle? After 32 rounds in the Premier League, they are ranked 8th with 44 points. That might not be so bad, given their past. Last season's success is weighing heavily on themselves.

Last season, I was pretty impressed with Newcastle's performance. But this year, everything is different. Newcastle is going through a difficult period when their performance is at rock bottom, and the pressure on Eddie Howe is huge. I think the storm of injuries to many key players and the decline in performance are two big reasons why they played poorly this season. Their thin force will have problems when the competition schedule becomes dense. The fault does not entirely belong to Howe because he did everything within his ability. His team simply seemed exhausted.

In the current situation, Newcastle needs new recruits to solve the injury crisis. At the same time, they need to increase the quality of their squad if they want to compete with other Premier League giants. Newcastle's failure in the Champions League and decline in the Premier League show that this club needs more big players, not just simple contracts like before.
Yes, it not too bad but I think it result that is far from perfect, last season Newcastle performed very well and really became team with new hopes for everyone who loves them but now they have disappointed many fans.
Sitting in 8th position with 44 points is nothing to be proud of and we all know that for these 32 rounds Newcastle has experienced 12 defeats, much different from last season when they only had 5 defeats and finished in 4th place with 71 points.
After improving their performance last season, they should perform better this season and if the decline is not too significant, the reality is that Newcastle is the opposite of everyone expectations.

Next season, it is certain that Newcastle will only compete in the European League and the English League, they must organize their strengths as well as possible at the end of the next season so that in the future they can play better.
Selling players who are not very important and bringing in great players to fill the main squad is what Newcastle must do, they have been in bad conditions for several years so now it is time for change.
Anyone who evaluates Newcastle this season will definitely say that the decline in performance has been quite disappointing.

The rumor about Amorim becoming Liverpool's new coach was true since amorim has also confirmed that if he would probably leave from sporting at the end of season through what already mentioned by fabrizio romano and im thinking he will join in liverpool. It is caused by the fact that Amorim is emerging as a strong candidate to take Klopp's position in the future sicne there was no good candidate other than him after alonso rejected liverpool's offer. Some people have questioned why Amorim is not so popular; I can understand why caused by he was only coaching sporting.  He was not so popular among all footballers. I saw some people in X called him as a random guy.
I'd like to remind you that Amorim was the coach of Sporting when they beat Arsenal in the Europa League last season. There is no doubt that Amorim is capable of handling the club. This is still my 2 cents, but the reality could be different.
The most important thing is that if Liverpool does not give him the opportunity to coach the club, how will we know how good or bad Amorim is? I don't see anything wrong with giving him a chance to play. We'll see what happens if we get to see him manage the club for at least half of the season.
Amorim is quite capable, and I fully trust him to be Liverpool's new manager. Fans can at least give him a chance. I hope Liverpool's management will fully consider this opportunity.

Speculation about Osimhen's future is now getting hotter, because the season will soon end and the transfer window will open again.
Osimhen still seems to be a hot speculation that will continue to be raised by the media, I think so far we do not know where Osimhen will continue his next career because indeed interested clubs such as PSG, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal have also not expressed their desire to sign Mbappe publicly and we only hear about issues,  So are Mbappe and Napoli who so far I think have never confirmed if they have received an official offer.

Despite all that, I think what you said is quite true, because after all the Premier League is the most competitive league at the moment so it will at least make Mbappe can be challenged again to achieve his best performance in football so far, compared to other leagues, of course, playing in the Premier League is a pride, especially for players who have always liked challenges,  It is not wrong if Osimhen chose to join PSG because so far he has understood French football and of course it is not difficult for him to adapt in Ligue 1 because indeed he has previously played for Lille, by joining PSG of course he will continue to be in the spotlight like Mbappe as long as because in Ligue 1 there is no fierce competition presented by players, especially in terms of scoring goals and also individual achievements,  But what is certainly difficult for mbappe seems to rejecting all Luxury on offer from PSG.
