Everything seems already set towards the end of the season with the dismissal of the current coach.
The rumors for the new coach are different but most are directed towards Tiago Motta. the only contender at the moment seems to be Antonio Conte but much less likely.
Some are already starting to assume Motta will be the next coach from the 2024/2025 season.
Juventus is currently very down in Serie A and even their position is now starting to be threatened by Bologna in the top 4, currently Juventus is in 3rd position while Bologna who is in 4th position with a difference of 2 points is of course just waiting for time to overtake Juventus, the poor performance of Juventus in recent seasons certainly cannot be separated from Allegri's monotonous strategy and easy to read by his opponents, Allegri has been relying on a scheme of play that I think is very old-fashioned, which is still reluctant to have the ball for too long in a match and I think that makes Juventus now increasingly lagging behind the modern style of play.
Currently it is reported that Juventus is eyeing several top coaches to replace allegri next season, but so far we have not been able to ascertain who Is worthy to replace Allegri who is now only 180 minutes away with Juventus, because reportedly if Juventus get bad results in the next two matches against Fiorentina and Torino, the management will consider sacking Allegri, But looking at the current conditions, of course Thiago Motta is a strong candidate to replace Allegri, but the question now if Juventus again miss the Champions League next season, will Thiago Motta want to leave Bologna who will most likely play in the Champions League next season?
I don’t think Juventus are making the right decisions here. Allegri is the manager who got them back on their feet. Comparing their performances with last season, they have done really better job. This season it looked like they were challenging Inter Milan for this season’s trophy. But after they lost to Inter Milan, everything has been downhill for Juventus and Allegri. I was thinking Juventus would be finishing second after Inter Milan in this season and might win Serie A next season.
If Allegri finished this season in 4th position with Juventus, I would be disappointed. But I don’t think Juventus management should sack them considering Allegri really did show improvement this season. I know they are not performing well for the past few matches, but Juventus had bad phases many times before while under Allegri. I don't know why they want to sack him this time because Allegri did a better job overall than before.
