Newcastle's unwanted transfer mistakes have made this season not go well for them.
Actually for this season the steps taken by Howe are actually very good where they bring in several players including Tonali who in fact is one of the very good assets because at a very young age he became a promising player because of his good performance, it's just that there were some unexpected situations where Tonali had problems with illegal bets made him get problems and a ban on playing even until the end of this season he will not be able to compete which makes Newcastle experience problems in midfield because it cannot balance the squad because Tonali was included in Howe's previous plan.

This is what makes Newcastle troublesome even though their momentum last season was very good but because of some unexpected mistakes it made them this season experience destruction.
Another reason why Newcastle experienced a setback this season was due to injuries. At the start of the season, Eddie Howe squad performance was quite consistent in winning. Along the way, a storm of player injuries haunted them, and coupled with the Tonali case, their situation worsened. Meanwhile, in terms of player transfers, Newcastle can actually easily recruit players even though the prices are expensive, because after changing ownership, Newcastle has now turned into a club that has strong finances.

Newcastle management must pay close attention to its policies when wanting to buy players in each transfer market, they have to pay attention to the FFP rules too, so that they don't get sanctions like that in the future. Apart from that, currently there are 9 Newcastle players who are still struggling with injuries, while one other, namely Tonali, is still sidelined due to sanctions until the end of August. Overall, the depth of Newcastle's squad is actually quite good, but to be able to compete in the top four next season, Eddie Howe needs to reshuffle his starting XI.

more and more rumors about the probable separation between Juventus and coach Allegri.

Everything seems already set towards the end of the season with the dismissal of the current coach.

The rumors for the new coach are different but most are directed towards Tiago Motta. the only contender at the moment seems to be Antonio Conte but much less likely.

Some are already starting to assume Motta will be the next coach from the 2024/2025 season.

Manchester City will be the strongest team if they manage to get Mbappe because the quality that Mbappe has will encourage them to become a team that has goal-hungry front players. However, Manchester City efforts to get Mbappe are certainly not easy because Real Madrid will be at the forefront of getting Mbappe. But everything could change if Mbappe is more interested in playing in the Premier League then Manchester City or Liverpool will be his goal.
It would be great to watch Mbappe at Manchester City. I'm sure every Manchester City fan would want that. But we know that Mbappe had some problems before when he was in the same team with Neymar and Messi. He might have similar problems playing with Haaland. There are younger players at Real Madrid, so he can gain respect from them. And we can see him as a dominant character at Real Madrid. But when he plays with Haaland he might not be the dominant character. I think he will be more successful at Real Madrid.
I almost don't believe that Mbappe will go to Manchester City and I think this is also not a good thing for football, especially for the current competition between the two best front players between Mbappe and Haaland.

I also think so, Mbappe would be the main player in the front line with full control and full support if he was at Real Madrid without any competition between teammates.
And in my opinion, that's much better than having to play on the same team as Haaland.

This season Newcastle performed much worse than last season and they were really very disappointing in the Premier League and UCL matches, last season Newcastle were still able to finish the competition in the top 4 and get UCL ticket.
But this season, Newcastle is only in the top 8 in the remaining matches, which only has few matches remaining, in fact Newcastle can perform well again, but they have to focus on the UCL matches and that makes their performance decline.
If look at all the players they have, it is clear that Newcastle does not have star who can truly perform dominantly, this is one mistake they must correct next season.

There are reports that several names are being linked with Newcastle and this is an option that might bring change if it can actually be brought in in the next transfer market.
Newcastle will get new performance with several players being brought in, Newcastle next season must be able to show their best performance again to get the place they deserve.
The performance of smaller teams this season will continually shock everyone because one wouldn't have believed if told before now that Newcastle would be in the Champions league this season, and say more and more of the recent performances of Fulham and others. These teams have taken advantage of the situation the wild teams have found themselves, in terms of competitions being played which causes less resting times, plus the team's defaults in their physical structure and player's efforts in converting goal chances to victories.

A whole lot has changed in football. The EPL which was tough has become even tougher, La Liga just started getting competitive. It's amazing that the smaller teams are making wave and causing football to be more fun than it used to be. Gone are the days that football in these leagues were one team focused, now all teams have to be watched closely because no one knows where his defeat would lie.

Newcastle in weeks have been doing good, they've been surprisingly excellent in a couple of games that they've been underrated in.  They're one team that didn't let the injury situation affect their performance, they were able to keep up with the games and ending them with victories. Even against PSG in both legs of the UCL group stage faceoff, they played in their highness and held PSG to ransom twice. It's just an amazing remark of their performance in football in the past weeks.

Weeks back they lost to Everton which wasn't entirely their fault. They even went on to face City, a team who's also had huge impact on the league table, they did their best to put in extra effort. Any side had the chance to win even though City are doing exceedingly well, Newcastle were the host and they were also able to hold down City's pressure.

Barcelona and Chelsea are both working on a move for Palmeiras winger Estevao Willian, with the 16-year old’s release clause set at £51m.
Source: Sunday Mirror
I wonder from where Barcelona is going to get the £51m. They don't have much money if I am not wrong. And I wonder if they should actually go for this player to be honest. Chelsea has money as far as i know. So if the only competition is actually Barca, I dont think they are going to have any problem winning over the player.
Selling raphinha? Barcelona has no other solution than this. This makes me feel very skeptical with barcelona right now. The club is performing even worse financially and barcelona may not able to get up again in the future.
It's hard to pick which was the best solution for this since barcelona is suffering huge lose. Let's wait from which barcelona will get additional money to compete with chelsea in getting him. Im doubting barcelona this time.
^ I have heard some news about some Barcelona players not being able to leave Barcelona because Barcelona have not paid them as much money as they should have. that is a very big problem.
I actually do not understand how you can go for signing new players when you cannot even provide the proper wage of the players that you already have.

You know, a few months ago Barcelona was even unable to register players because of funding problems.
And their situation cannot be turned into something so great that they start looking for players that cost more than 50 million right?

^
The main problem is barcelona doesn't have a lot of money to buy the players. Many players who have projected to leave from the club decided to stay even longer in barcelona and it means that if club must have paid more.
Laporta is feeling confusing now on how to get additional money to buy the new players. It's hard to think on what plan prepared by laporta to get a new player. it's caused by barcelona has no other option than selling the players.
The club is performing even better than before and it must be noted that if laporta is also having trouble with a big debt owned by barcelona and it's still getting unpaid.
^ I still think that for any young and upcoming player who is showing good talent, it is not a good idea to go to Barcelona. Because the situation of the club is not good right now. Even though they are definitely performing better when compared to Chelsea or Manchester United. If there is any club that young players should stay away from, it is those three.

The problem is that it will not be realistic especially for the financial problems that Manchester City has now.
With some pretty expensive players at Manchester City at the moment it is clear that bringing Mbappe is difficult to do unless he takes out some of the core players they have including Haaland.
It is difficult to bring together two players of Mbappe and Haaland's caliber in the squad which makes it unrealistic to expect Mbappe to be at Manchester City for next season.

In addition, if this possibility occurs I do not dare to say they will be fine in terms of FFP because now the issue of violations in Financial Fairplay for Manchester City has always been a never-ending issue so when there is a possibility of Mbappe to be in the Manchester City squad next season I do not dare to guarantee the reaction of several other clubs in the EPL about this because it will seem partial and the financial authorities in the EPL only look at small clubs like Everton or Nottingham but do not care about the finances of big clubs like Manchester City.

Both of them are talented young players in the current era. they can compete like Messi and Ronaldo in the past. it would be less interesting for fans to see both of them on the same team. City could be very overpowered in the Premier League.
I would prefer Mbappe to Madrid or a club in the Premier League other than City to create competition with Mbappe.

From what I have noticed regarding Newcastle decline, it is because they did not make good use of the transfer market season and had too much confidence in the squad they had last season. Meanwhile, other teams that are currently at the top are making improvements so that they are at least able to maintain their performance in the EPL. Not only that, the strong reason behind Newcastle setback is the mental factor of the players, mental matters cannot be taken lightly, because speaking of the EPL you need to be mentally strong enough to be able to compete. As a result Newcastle lost its best performance, and we can't expect much from Newcastle club management other than having to go through a bad phase because of its own mistakes.

It's an impossible scenario. Please look into Manchester City's case which is having issues with FFP breaches. It would be ridiculous if City signed Mbappe because he demands excessive signing fees from the club that successfully recruits him as a new player which is impossible to happen with city and mbappe. The better for city to complete its problems rather than thinking about how to recruit mbappe.

The city's problem with financial fair play has not yet been resolved, so how can we predict whether the city will be able to sign the mbappe here? it's totally a non sense thing to be talked. I would prefer that City keep playing with their current wingers because they are good since the early season. Grealish and Doku were very capable of playing on City and the club doesn't need a new winger again to play in the club and the better to use the available talents.

The club does not need someone like Mbappe, and Pep was obviously aware of this. This is why the city was rarely connected with the mbappe even when many big teams massively linked with mbappe's movements, as the team had no interest in recruiting him as a new player. It's that simple.
Pep is a coach who prioritizes efficiency over everything. It does not make sense for him to spend so much money on an expensive player like him. Allow the city to be done with its FFP breach problem.

Newcastle still needs to improve the squad instead of letting some of its best players leave at the end of the season. Alexander Isak is one of the important players in Newcastle's squad this season, so they need to keep him instead of selling him. It is true that it is difficult for Newcastle players to hope for a title, but it is not impossible for this team to follow in the footsteps of Manchester City because of its good financial strength.

This season Newcastle's performance is very different compared to last season, even though they have improved their squad. Of course player injuries have had a significant impact on the team's performance, but that should not be the main reason why they have dropped so much so far.
Newcastle United decline in performance, their strength have reduced to minimum, they're settling for lesser results and having zero voltage to withstand the stats of elite teams. The magpies boss, Eddie Howe was the promised change for Newcastle but more ugly incident have happen. Xavi's story with Barcelona may not be over, from what we understand from Spanish sources, Barcelona themselves are trying to change the coach's mind to stay another year.

For this reason there are rumors that Barcelona are trying to sign Haaland, the player should have a release clause that can be activated in the summer for around 120-130 million euros.
Barcelona doesn't seem to want to spend any more money to sign a new coach and as long as Xavi can still be retained, they will try everything to prevent him from leaving. Barcelona is smart enough to take advantage of the existing situation and they don't want to just let Xavi go and it's better to give him the salary they still have allocated than to hire a new coach whose costs will be much more expensive.

Haaland to Barcelona? I think it will just be a dream that won't come true and considering the value of the clause which is very expensive, I don't think Barcelona can afford to sign him because we all know the existing financial forces will never be able to bring in Haaland. Unless Barcelona is willing to sell some of its players, that could possibly happen. But if that happens then Barcelona will lose several key players. Other problems that are quite easy, such as making Joao Felix's transfer permanent, they can't let alone bring in Haaland, right?

Alexander Isak the player of Newcastle had an amazing performance in all the games we saw from this team so far and because of the good performance he had in Newcastle, it seems there are some teams that want to have this player for the next season.
Tottenham and Arsenal are two teams that sent offers for Alexander Isak. However, Newcastle said they are not going to let Alexander Isak leave unless they pay 130 million euros for this player which is a huge amount of money for any team but I don't think if they can even make the team to spend this money for a player like Alexander Isak.

We can be relaxing and watching most of these competitive clubs folding up. Newcastle United are ranked 8th position on the table and they've been brilliant for final phases. The English Premier League have become an interesting League for everyone to watch. Newcastle United have more players to lose at the end of the season and I would say it will be downtime for the Magpies headcoach, Eddie Howe. Alot of things will change when these key players finally departs and leaving ordinary players that have zero impacts to make.

According to Sacha Tavolieri in a YouTube update, the Blues are making concerted efforts to maximise revenue from player sales this summer to comply with the Premier League's Profit & Sustainability Regulations (PSR). Hence, Chelsea want to alleviate the burden of Lukaku's wages and secure a transfer fee with the aim of meeting their financial objectives.
https://www.goal.com/en/lists/chelsea-romelu-lukaku-gone-blues-contact-saudi-fa-eur60m-price-tag-pro-league-clubs/blt923287419a93de78#csedd00c85724426f8

Im feeling another drama between chelsea and lukaku will be back again soon as per the recent news stated that if chelsea tried to raises some money from selling him to the saudi club. The Blues are now perplexed about how to raise additional funds in the mission to avoid FFP sanction and i have heard that if chelsea plan to sell some additional players too, and Chelsea's representative has been contacting Saudi Arabia directly to offer Lukaku. It is unclear whether Saudi Arabia accepted or rejected such an offer. the main problem if lukaku never feel interested to play in the saudi pro laegue club.

I recall Chelsea having similar issues with Lukaku last season. This is the second time the Blues have tried to sell him to a Saudi Pro League club, but it is unclear whether Lukaku will change his mind this time. I consder that how happy lukaku when he played in his preferable club.
It was caused by Lukaku's refusal to respond positively when Chelsea attempted to send him to the Saudi Professional League. Lukaku enjoys playing in European competitions because they challenge him, and he dislikes playing in the Saudi Professional League.
I strongly believe that Chelsea will miss this again. Since the player will completely disagree with it.

I was wondering the same thing. What if they bring him in and he does not perform well?
Or worse, what if he falls into consistent injuries?

We have all seen what happened with Ansu Fati of Barcelona. He was being linked with a lot of clubs and also he was being compared with Neymar and sometimes people also said that he would be the next Lionel Messi. Those type of overhyping can cause problems for a player. Either he gets put under too much pressure or he thinks he is already great.
Check his statistic, it's a big joke https://www.transfermarkt.com/luis-guilherme/leistungsdaten/spieler/991800

Played for Palmeiras 33 times, zero goal and zero assist created by him, the funny thing his market value is always increase. Tongue

He showed nothing, what he showed he's Brazilian and as we know Brazilian players are overrated.

Yep, Ansu Fati is gone, he's not even able to contribute anything in Brighton, probably he will move to second tier leagues.

this 18 year old kid is creating a lot of noise. I hope people understand that he is being pursued by big names like Liverpool, Arsenal,  Bayern Munich  and Chelsea.  being such interesting to search Big gloves at such a young age is absolutely incredible. Now I Wonder If all the clubs should actually spend so much money trying to get him. because even though the Marketplace for players has become saturated and a big inflation is also going on right now,  I still think this much money is a lot for a young kid.  or maybe I am just a little too old.  maybe I just cannot think about such a price for such a player  when I saw Cristiano Ronaldo going to Real Madrid for 94 million and that was a record transfer at that time.  of course it has been a long time since then. At the same time I guess this player can also be a very big asset for any club. so I guess they can spend this much money for him.

If he is called as the "new Gabriel Jesus" then I don't know how bright his future would be.  Tongue  Joking aside it is really difficult to say something about this player considering there aren't any proper statistics to take into consideration. He is really young of course and if he has a big talent he would surely be signed by a big European team sooner or later.

He is quite a versatile player as far as I can see. He can play on both wings and as an attacking midfielder at the same time. Big teams would love to have such players with talent.  Smiley  The reason why I said that about Gabriel Jesus is his not being able to develop good enough. Especially the recent injuries have been an obstacle.

I think this is a time when everyone actually overhypes young players a little too much. And that is a big reason why we see almost every team interested in any young player who is showing even a little potential.

Yes, I know he is showing good potential but I agree that there are not many stats that can be analyzed to understand his performance and at the same time I also believe this happens from a young age and the players are also under pressure from a very young age. That is also another reason for the players to sometimes not live up to the expectation. I am not saying that a club should not go for a player that they think to be the next great player for their club. But don't get so much excited if he does not perform as well as you thought he would.

~
I was thinking, isn't it too early if one of the popular clubs like Liverpool or other big clubs takes the risk of bringing in these young players who don't have any guarantees yet.
But I am very sure that if there is a big possibility that Dortmund can get Luis Guilherme, he will definitely be a very reliable player and have a very high price.

I was wondering the same thing. What if they bring him in and he does not perform well?
Or worse, what if he falls into consistent injuries?

Newcastle will be forced to sell these players do as to avoid the financial fair play rules and stuff. Alexander Isaak is not the only name wanted Bruno Guimmares included as he's been linked to Manchester City. Pep Guardiola has recognized him as his ideal addition to replace Kalvin Philips who should be leaving for Bayern Munich or Leeds United.

As for Alexander Isaak, the figure splashed on him is just too outrageous to be very honest. He will be a good signature of Arsenal, but I don't know if they'll be looking forward to sign the sweedish international player.

He has been a good player for Newcastle United anyways, he drops deep to support and also makes good use of chances whenever he gets the chance to score goals. Tottenham has Timo Werner and Richardlison, why should Isaak swing that way?

It is true that when a club sets such a high price for a player, it actually says that this player is not for sale, but if a buyer is found for such a high price and they will be able to make an appropriate replacement, for this money. On the other hand, I constantly see how prices for players are constantly rising, if earlier it was a wonder to hear the amount of 100 million, now it has become the norm for almost any top club.
Usually clubs who want to retain their key players set high prices so that other clubs cannot afford to recruit these players because they are too expensive. But for clubs that are rich and capable, they usually don't care even if they have to buy at a high price. Even if their potential is guaranteed, they can play well in their new club and can make a promising contribution, but if they don't change and tend to be mediocre, it's just a waste for the club recruiting him and causing losses to the club that bought him at a high price even though the expectation of every club buying a player is that it can improve the club's overall performance and provide maximum performance.

Alexander Isak is an important player that Newcastle has so it is natural that Newcastle will set a fairly high price for this player, in other words, Newcastle still wants Alexander Isak to stay at Newcastle longer. He is also still young so his potential is still quite good. But the question is which club can afford to buy the player with the agreed price given by Newcastle. I think club like Arsenal and Tottenham of course think long and hard about recruiting him even though they can afford to buy the striker even both clubs are rumored to be interested in the striker.

I understand the frustration with Eddie Howe. We've got some fantastic players, tremendous talent, but the results, frankly, arent there. Last season felt incredible, but now? We need a change, and we need it fast. Mourinho? Im not saying he's perfect, but the man's a winner, a proven winner. He knows how to get the best out of a team, and we've got the resources to make it happen. Look, Im not usually one for drastic measures, but the fans deserve better, this club deserves better. Its time to think big and take action.

When teams get better, they end up usually trying to buy their success, and that seems to be the trouble that both Newcastle and Chelsea are both having at the moment. I believe that they shouldn't have done this and they should be considering the fact that they are not going to get success by throwing money at players.

The best way to go on right now would be just focusing on what they could do with what they have and not really go any further. I believe that the best thing to do in this case would be just trying to build a team infrastructure that would be better. Look at City, while they did buy many players, they did not spend as much as some of the other teams and did so much better, that's how you should be.

I think there is nothing wrong with buying expensive players if it really gives great benefits to the team, so far Newcastle and Chelsea have turned into rich teams, and it is only natural that they use financial strength to pursue success in the league, because I think without strong finances it will also make it difficult for a club to compete in the Premier League,  So far, Chelsea and Newcastle have spent a lot of money on player transfers, but the problem is that the players they buy are not able to develop well or according to the needs of the club, the difficulty of developing players in a club is of course inseparable from the coach's ability to coach the club.

I think Newcastle and Chelsea should look for another coach who is better able to develop the team in the future, as well as their scouts who I think are less qualified and they may need to learn more in terms of transferring players from Edu (Arsenal) at the moment.
If you say Manchester City built a team without spending a lot of money, of course you are wrong, guys, maybe in the last 2 seasons they did not spend much money on player spending because indeed most of their players have long contracts, but what you need to know If previously Manchester City became a team that spent a lot of money to buy players,  But they buy the right players and have a long-term contribution to the team
