Lucas Paqueta was offered 100 million plus by Manchester City but English club West Ham did not agree to this big offer of Manchester City. Perhaps West Ham's €120 million plus demand from Manchester City is why Lucas Paqueta's deal was rumored but ultimately not completed. Lucas Paqueta can be a very reliable player in the midfield for Manchester City so Manchester City will definitely keep an eye on this player. Since Manchester City could not complete the contract with this player for 100 million euros, the amount of money may be increased and West Ham will again propose to bring this player to the club.

Actually the transfer deal between Manchester City and Westham related to Paqueta almost happened last summer for 80 million euros, but unfortunately at that time Paqueta was charged with a violation by deliberately getting a yellow card for gambling, at that time actually Manchester City was a only one step away to sign Paqueta but Manchester City did not want to be involved further after the case and shifted their target to another midfielder namely Matheus Nunes from wolves.

At this time de Bruyne's old age and also the frequent injury factor de Brunyne is of course the main reason for Manchester City to try to re-sign Paqueta who did impress with Westham, when mproving the quality of Paqueta game of course Westham will reject the previous offer from Manchester City at this time, especially Westham can now get more money if see the needs of Manchester City who are desperate to get a replacement de bruyne In the future, I think if Manchester City come in with an offer greater than €120m maybe we will see Paqueta at the Etihad Stadium next season.

It seems that the rumors about Xabi Alonso joining Livepool or Bayern are fake. Alonso will stay in Leverkuzen for another season.
The favorites for a new Liverpool manager are Roberto De Zerbi and Ruben Amorim from Sporting Lisbon.
I don't know if those rumors are true, but De Zerbi seems like the best candidate for Liverpool. He's been doing great with Brighton and it's time for him to join a bigger club. Arne Slot, who is a coach of Feyenoord is a also a good candidate, but Dutch coaches are having a hard time in the Premier league.
But this is just speculation again in the end considering that in some rumors and news that are currently spreading that its a little difficult to get Xabi from Leverkusen because it is certain that Leverkusen will retain this coach but that does not mean it becomes impossible to do because it can still be just a little difficult.

As long as there is no really convincing statement from Leverkusen and Xabi IMHO the chance is still there its just that it would be better from now on for Liverpool and Bayern to look for other alternatives so that when Xabi is really unavailable then they already have options to replace the current coach . Xabi is indeed very impressive so it is quite natural that he is trying to be retained even though the previous statement from the president of Leverkusen by giving freedom for decisions that Xabi will do in the future but it seems that they also dont want to just lose their valuable assets at Leverkusen because Xabi is what makes Leverkusen transformed into a very solid club like now.

Could it be that I heard wrong? But it seems like this is an inevitable rumor and Barcelona reportedly wants to bring in its former coach from the 2014/2015 season, namely Luis Enrique. Of course we still remember that Luis Enrique led Barcelona to win the treble that season and this will be a much awaited reunion for the Barcelona squad if that happens. However, it certainly won't be easy to convince the Spanish coach because he is still focused with PSG on developing the existing squad further.

So I don't think Barcelona will be able to convince him to come back quickly, but if Barcelona still hopes he will come then it might take a long time. We know that his responsibility is still huge after being contracted by PSG last season, but his contract will also end in 2025. So, if his contract with PSG has ended, it is possible that Barcelona could offer a contract to bring back Luis Enrique, but that is if PSG does not extend his contract at the end of the season.

Is Luis Enrique the right option to replace Xavi? and if yes, what do you think?
This will be difficult for Luis Enrique because Barcelona is now very different, far worse than when he was still Barcelona coach, so if Luis Enrique returns it will be a threat to his coaching career.

Luis Enrique is currently the PSG coach and he hasn't proven anything with his new team so personally I really doubt that Luis Enrique can lift the performance of the Barcelona team which is currently slumping in a short period of time.

I think this is just a rumor, if Luis Enrique is not successful with PSG this season then he will be encouraged to make the team even better and fulfill management's targets if he is still trusted.
And if Luis Enrique is successful at PSG this season it is also unlikely that PSG management will let him go.
I thought like you and in fact it was not the same as Barcelona's glory when he was still the coach. Everything has changed from several structures to the polemics that exist at this club. I think Luis Enrique is an experienced coach and until his responsibilities are finished he will not leave PSG.

This rumor is quite ridiculous considering Barcelona's uncertain condition, which will put Luis Enrique under pressure if he returns to his former club. PSG certainly really trusts him and because of that he immediately got a 2 year contract and it is possible that the duration will be extended if he succeeds in proving his expertise in building a squad.

To be honest, no coach can handle Barcelona if the coach's request cannot be properly granted by the management, especially as every team is now competing to bring in potential players. I know Barcelona has a good academy but I think that's still not enough to compete in bigger competitions.

Have you heard of any statement by Xabi Alonso? Because I haven't. However I can agree that there isn't anything certain on his future yet. There are only rumours like Liverpool and Bayern Munich will be after him as both of them are parting ways with their managers by the end of this season. The important point is what he wants to do after being this successful.

If Xabi Alonso doesn't go to Liverpool then De Zerbi can be one of the candidates indeed. At least he has been one of the names rumoured with the job there. Liverpool had better make their choice carefully after having really good years with Klopp.  Smiley

Yes, it seems like it's just a rumor because as far as I know, Alonso has not given a clear statement about whether he will leave Bayer Leverkusen. I also hope that Alonso stays longer at Bayer Leverkusen and provides fierce competition in the Bundesliga and next season Alonso will handle Bayer Leverkusen in the UCL.
Roberto has always been associated with Liverpool and perhaps a coach who previously coached an English team would be more able to adapt to other English teams because if he appointed a coach who was not familiar with the EPL it would be difficult for him to adapt well.

Acmilan seems to be in a peculiar position after bottling so many games. The club's performance is inconsistent in any game but it's slowly back again to the right track. It was also making things more difficult for Pioli. His future in Milan is uncertain due to management's unhappiness with his performance this season after management gave him permission to get the new players what he wanted. Milan has given him permission to spend a lot of money, but the club has not won a trophy this season which is very disappointed result. If I were an Acmilan fan, I would be very upset to see Pioli still in the club as a head coach and i prefer for him to leave from the club. The club needs to find a good coach, and Fiorentina's coach has recently been named as one of the candidates to replace Pioli.
It's such a shame for Milan to have Italiano as their new coach, especially since he's not even better than Pioli. I strongly disagree with Milan's willingness to hire him as a new coach, which is a shame. Can't Milan hire a better coach than him? It would be fantastic if Milan could recruit Jose Mourinho as a new appointment, as he is currently free and eager to start a new job. I would prefer that Milan list Mourinho rather than Italiano as a potential coach.

Quote
Milan are preparing for a tough Serie A clash away to Fiorentina, a match that could be the right stage for Vincenzo Italiano to prove himself to the Rossoneri management. One coach who has gone under the radar is Fiorentina’s Italiano; the 46-year-old tactician has reportedly decided to leave Florence when his contract expires in the summer, giving him complete control of his future.

This a bad coach to be listed as a new candidate to handle milan. Pioli must fuck off from milan.

Luis Diaz to Real Madrid is definitely impossible, I can easily say that. Because, Real already has a world class player at left wing, and they are getting Mbappe potentially, which means that Mbappe is a left winger who will play at striker just because Real already has a left winger. Getting a third one, expensive one at that, would not make sense for them at all. I believe that they are going to end up with a result that wouldn't be easy for them to accept and they will just assume that it is not going to be easy.

Let it be and consider doing the best they can do at Liverpool, that's his best chance and he should be happy that he is given that chance, considering he hasn't done anything extraordinary, I believe even Liverpool is a stretch for him these days.

This is the main cause of Barcelona's financial collapse. This story is always repeated, and it is currently happening with Raphinha since he has said that if he is willing to stay in the club even longer. He has said that he was really frustrated but he insist to stay even longer in the club and this is a non sense thing

Quote
According to reports, Barcelona winger Raphinha is dissatisfied with his current situation at the club but is determined to stay this summer.
https://www.90min.com/posts/raphinha-frustrated-winger-makes-decision-on-barcelona-future

That news suggests how frustrated he is at Barcelona, but he has stated that he will not leave the club. The more Barcelona tries to keep an unimportant club in the club, the more likely it will be a time bomb because this club will always allow players to leave on free transfers.
I believe Barcelona should change its policy because it will gradually but steadily destroy Barcelona's finances.

When some players refuse to leave the club and prefer to stay until their contracts expire, Barcelona will undoubtedly suffer many disadvantages.
Barcelona must also sell its players when the club does not intend to extend their contracts.

A new piece of gossip for Guardiola's transfer market who seems to want the 26 year old Bruno Guimaraes player at all costs.

The player's price tag is estimated at around 100 million euros, which is a lot but easily within the reach of the English club.

If they will fail with him they may go for Lucas Paqueta from West Ham.
I don't know why Pep is so interested in Bruno Guimaraes, who is actually not player with skills that can be said to be great, with price of up to 100 million euros, I think that is too high price.
But after all Pep is coach and he knows what is best for Manchester City and who is worthy of being player in the Manchester City squad in building really strong performance, if only Bruno Guimaraes was brought in and there was no big contribution from him then this is clear is detrimental thing.
If look at how both players contributed to the teams they played for, it is actually clear that Lucas Paqueta is much better and maybe Lucas Paqueta will not reach the amount of 100 million euros.
It just that everything comes back to Pep decision as to which players are worthy of being brought in, we Manchester City fans just hope they get the best.

Todd Boehly will be removed from his role as Chelsea chairman in 2027 as part of a unique agreement among the club's owners, according to a report.
https://www.90min.com/posts/todd-boehly-to-be-removed-chelsea-chairman
Some journalists report that Chelsea's current chairman, Todd Boehly, will step down soon following his unsatisfied results as chairman. This decision came after the club's owners were also disappointed with his performance as chairman it must be like that, and I completely agree with them given Chelsea's poor performance this season under todd boehly. It's time for the group owners to do audit to the its club.
Too bad it will happen in 2027, it means Chelsea will not have any improvement and struggle to the next 3 years. Chelsea might relegated to Championship because they got accused for breached FPP regulations, who knows they will get a big amount points deduction.

Todd Boehly need to be sacked as soon as possible without need to wait til 2027.

Im feeling so happy with this news. Finally, chelsea's group owners know about what they must to do. We have seen that how todd boehly as a chairman of chelsea totally failed in running the club since he has made so many intervention to the club. The latest news suggest that if the group don't even have interest to give todd boehly as a chairman.
The groups are interesting to recruit someone who was capable enough in doing this.

Even though he was part of the group, the main problem remained the same if todd boehley made so many intervention to the his club which is also making the players and coach feel not confidence with it.

Chelsea needs to hire someone who knows how to run a football club properly. It cannot be another Todd Boehly who is disrupting Chelsea's performance. I believe that we will see a new chairman hired by the club as soon as possible.
Chelsea investors have been fully prepared to make the situation even better than before.

I agree but it still makes sense to make that comparison when it becomes more likely that Alonso could replace Klopp. I think everyone agrees that the energy Klopp can transfer onto the teams he is coaching is very unique. He is like a volcano and he understands how to channel that energy straight into his team when there is something important on the line. He even does it in less important games. Alonso is more of a calm character, actually a bit the opposite of Klopp. It doesn't have to be bad, but it's a fact for now and when a team is used to someone like Klopp, how will they function as a team once they have a coach who is completely different characteristically.
Every great coach has different characteristics and cannot be equalized regarding their respective strategies and tactics, each coach has his own strengths and weaknesses, Jurgen Kloop is a great coach, everyone admits that, Pep Guardiola is also a great coach overall, both of them are great coaches but with their own style and knowledge, as well as Xabi Alonso at the start of his career who showed his greatness even though it is not easy for a young coach with little experience to be able to bring a mediocre club to the league title is a tough task for the coach because he has to think hard to beat top clubs to win the league title.

It is very natural that Liverpool are used to Jurgen Kloop's coaching style which is perhaps more aggressive and agile because Jurgen Kloop has also coached Liverpool for a long period of time, while the characteristics of Jurgen Kloop and Xabi Alonso are different but Liverpool must immediately move on from Jurgen Kloop because otherwise this will make it difficult for Liverpool's next performance, that's why the coach and players must be able to adapt well and create chemistry so that the club can perform well and can immediately move on from the previous coach.

Kevin De Bruyne linked to leave Manchester City, Bernado Silva looking all worned out, Kovacic not too much of a creative midfielder, not even Nunes. It was Lucas Paqueta who was linked but shit didn't go through. From season to season, Pep Guardiola normally do it this way to upgrade his squad with new names and qualities.

There's this I want to play for Pep Guardiola when he comes knocking,, I'm sure he'd join Manchester City and Newcastle United seem to be interested in selling the Brazilian midfielder. I see he is making good plans to rebuild the squad ahead of a new season.

It seems like Xabi Alonso has finally rejected moving to Liverpool and Bayern Munich. Then, the next name for that Bayern Munich job would be Antonio Conte.

Chelsea have set a price tag of around €43 million (£37m/$46m) for the 30-year-old striker, a fee that could attract interest from Saudi sides who are willing to match the amount, according to Gazzetta. Roma have made it clear that they can afford to meet Chelsea's demand only if they qualify for the Champions League next season. Moreover, the potential return of Tammy Abraham to match fitness is also one of the factors behind their decline in interest.

It has been so long we rarely heard about lukaku and finally, Lukaku is back now. Since his contract with Roma expires at the end of the season and many speculations have been coming up, many parties have not inquired about his future caused by lukaku can also become a trending topic again. Lukaku has told the media to ask Chelsea about his future and media has done it. Lukaku has always been loaned to Serie A clubs which is also increasing his experience as a striker. Even Lukaku is still unsure about his future yet media keeps attack him with various question that can't be answered by him.
The better for Chelsea to give him another chance but Chelsea is stupid enough to realize it and chelsea is also constantly getting stupid coaches who demand new strikers rather than using someone who has proven to be effective in Inter Milan and Roma many times. This is a very harsh reality for him. Roma has clearly stated that the club is willing to make him permanent as long as it can qualify for the UCL next season and it's not yet clear on which position roma will finish serie a this season.

It may appear to be nonsense, but life must continue even if there are many dramas going on in lukaku's life. Lukaku must accept that if his club is no longer require his services and he shall leave to get a better future. Even his price has enticed a Saudi club to buy him, but his future remains uncertain.
The future of Lukaku remains unknown, and we'll see if Chelsea is truly trying to offload him from the club caused by this has been published by several sites. I believe Chelsea has made too many mistakes by using the young striker which is always performing like amateur striker instead of a striker with high value.
Pochettino can try to mix the veteran striker with the new striker to help the latter perform better. Pochettino's strategy never improves.

Maybe it won't prove everything because you can always have a bad season. Klopp had a relatively bad season with his club as well. That's why I think that a serious, substantial judgment about Alonso can only be made in maybe five years from now. But for now he is of course doing extraordinarily well and the manner in which he dominates the Bundesliga definitely eliminates the idea that he just got lucky this season. A coach can get lucky for 3 games, 5 games or maybe 10 games, but this execution of impressive football so consistently is certainly a first proof that he can't be a bad coach. Time will tell whether he is the same league as Klopp and Guardiola.
Assessing the impact and capabilities of a coach requires a broader perspective that encompasses several seasons and various circumstances. Xabi Alonso has undeniably made a strong start in his coaching career, it still needs more time to demonstrate his abilities over the long term. Leverkusen having impressive performance in dominating the Bundesliga speaks volumes about his managerial skills. Consistently delivering high-quality football over an extended period suggests more than just luck, it indicates a deeper understanding of the game and effective leadership.

Comparing Alonso to Klopp and Guardiola is a natural inclination given their reputations and track records. However, Alonso needs his own journey and trajectory. Time will indeed be the ultimate judge of his capability and whether he can reach the same echelon as Klopp and Guardiola. In the meantime, He earns credits for the current achievements. Time will reveal the true extent of Alonso's capabilities and place him within the league of elite coaches.

I think the Real Madrid option for Xabi is too early. I think he needs to prove himself a little more. He can stay at Bayer Leverkusen for another year or consider the Liverpool option. I think Xabi can be successful in both options. If Xabi leaves the team at the end of the year, other big teams in Europe can easily make offers to the Leverkusen players who made history this year. They even transfer them. But if Xabi stays for 1 more year, I don't think the players will want to leave. They owe Xabi a debt and I think they need to pay these debts.
Yeah, definitely, Xabi Alanson has to do more, like spend some more time to prove himself because Real Madrid is a big club and there is a small mistake you can sack or replace. So Xabi Alonso will have to spend some more time to be 100% sure. The Uefa Champions League is a big competition, and for this, different tactics and concepts have to be made. For coaches who do not have experience with the Uefa Champions League, it becomes difficult for them to play in a hard competition like the UCL.

Anyway, the coach of Real madrid is Carlos Angeloti and he is performing very well, He will become the La Liga champion and he is also performing well in the UEFA Champions league. But now everything depends on Manchester City. If he tries to get a chance for victory then it will be possible for him to stay; otherwise, Real Madrid will increase the trend towards the new coach, which is definitely Xabi Alonso. But it was just a lay talk; let's see what happened next.

PSG is currently having good performance in Enrique and they prefer to keep their goal for a longer time to reach their goals. Also, Enrique even said he started learning the French language which means he prefers to stay in France for a longer time and he is not planning for the other teams like Barcelona.
Also as you already said, Enrique is under contract with PSG until 2025and there is no reason for them to cancel the deal, and Barcelonadoesn't have the money to release this coach from PSG.
That's why I think this transfer is not going to happen anytime soon.

Is it clear, right? I meant Laporta has stated many times that he will never sell him at any price, which means it doesn't even matter how high the bet is, but Yamal will always stay on Real Madrid. It feels like Laporta has found a new Messi for Barcelona. Your expectation is too high by thinking Yamal will leave the club.
Im only having one thing to be criticized about laporta. It seems like that he shall never ever repeat to create sensational news like when he announced yamal got 200m offer. Laporta will try to defend him no matter what happened to the barcelona.

Barcelona rarely let its good players leave the club, but the situation would be kind of different if the club faced the same situation as when Barcelona should have sold Messi to PSG due to financial problems.

The financial problem is probably the only thing that will put pressure on Barcelona to sell its good players. We have seen that many times barcelona pressured by la liga to raise some money.

Yes, the financial situation is forcing Barcelona to take many decisions they never ever wanted to take. As a result, Messi had to leave Barcelona and play for Paris Saint Germain. Barcelona also did so many things to keep their club alive financially.

Barcelona has already sold so many players. They don't have any more players to pull. They have sold their TV rights and licensing rights. They have also cut their player salaries and released many players. They have also sold their stadium naming rights and are trying to find ways to reduce their costs. They should not do anything risky that might put their club in danger financially. Barcelona might have to take many tough financial decisions in the coming future. I wonder what they will do if the time comes when they must sell Yamal.
