No reason for him to leave from the club while many of players in the squad need him to stay in girona even longer. Some clubs linked to him but i think that it will not come true since michel feels better to stay in the club for another season.
The situation may get even better when Girona is able to take the UCL spot this season. It has been a long time since Girona performed perfectly like this.

For United, they've had good records from the beginning of their existence till 2seasons ago when they started experiencing gradual decline. Their coach switches has an effect on the team, they found it hard to secure a good coach that complements and will impact the team positively. And this has been on and on till this season when the situation got critical and United is literally nowhere to be found in the top 4 spot and they keep going behind in their struggle each passing week. I have read some interesting news somewhere that Alonso's decision could on the one hand be driven by his passion for tough challenges and he is not a guy who likes to take the easiest path, which then would made most sense if he went to Liverpool and became the coach there as the Premier League is the biggest competition someone can go for. Even chelsea has interest to recruit him as a new appointment to replace pochettino which was totally failed in changing the club to be even better. I think barcelona will be doing it right to recruit him as a new appointment instead of try to name other candidates.
Barcelona needs to find someone who can fully understnad the way barcelona is playing. Tuchel is the only guy who can do that.
