Arsenal really need a sharp attacker that can play as a central nine, because none of this current attackers can really deliver them when they need him the most.In the champions league yesterday, Barcelona got a 1:1 with Napoli, and it was their two attackers that scored the goals because they are reliable.Osimhen and Lewandowski got the goals for them to show how important a central nine is.
If Arsenal should be able to get a sharp attacker like Vampersie of those days, then they must have gotten a complete squad.
Gunners are among the favorite team to win the English Premier League title this season, they just need time to make things work according to their plan this season. Perhaps an elite team like Gunners ought not to fail because everyone looks up to them to keep delivering consistent job. Wait a minute, are you saying Mikel Arteta doesn't have a complete squad for matches this season? The evidence we need is already lined out there, Gunners are in the race for the EPL title race this season, and watching them nailing tough and weak opponents in the EPL this season.

Talking about the good old days were we would watch Thierry Henry and Van Persie earning accolades st Emirate stadium due to the credibilities and ambitious goals to achieved, Gunners was among one of the very best team in EPL. Stop doing the comparison because Arsenal are entirely different from other clubs, I've watch them gaining good three points in matches and their defeats against Porto is merely a minor setback but that doesn't mean Mikel Arteta and his outstanding squad won't take the game serious, they will fight with everything they have to ensure they're back on track to face oppositions.

There is a possibility that Xabi will become Tuchel successor next season, but for now Xabi seems to interpret Bayern interest as a disturbance to his team. As we can see, Xabi is focused on bringing Leverkusen to the Bundesliga trophy, Bayern interest could disrupt his team motivation to maintain their level of play for the remainder of this season.
The possibility is there and it is wise that he has chosen to want to remain focused on winning the Bundesliga with his current club than giving ears to these speculations that can be distracting. The season is not yet a done deal for Bayern Leverkusen so there is a need to remain focused. Maybe at the end of th season as well, we may still see these clubs that we expect to be the next place for Xabi, we may see them bring other experienced managers even from other clubs, it is difficult to predict because Xabi is not the only candidate for any availiable job opening.

Arsenal would go into the transfer market for a striker this summer, there are rumors that they might try to sign Ivan Toney from Brentford. Thomas Frank has already said it would be nearly impossible to keep Toney at the team after the end of the seadom, though Arsenal might have to pay a huge amount of money if they are to get Toney.

I think it was still January when I read that Arsenal were looking to invest heavily in that transfer window, at the time they were targeting Victor Osimhen from Napoli, Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig, Ivan Toney from Brentford, and Evan Ferguson from Brighton... none of these contracts were completed.

Now, two months later they are again in a desperate search for a good striker... certainly prices have gone up and options have dwindled.

Just so you're aware, Chelsea is also interested in Ivan Toney, so if Arsenal still want him in their team, they'll have to fight for it.

Having said that, i don't think Arsenal should be too desperate for a striker, they have been scoring a lot of goals in the EPL lately, and if they are scoring nobody talks about a new striker, but on a day that they don't score, everyone talks about recruiting a new striker.
This january Arsenal have been linked to several players just like Joshua Zirkzee and Ivan Toney but none of them who bought by Arsenal seems Arteta has telling the truth that last month he said Arsenal won't but new striker this January because they have not enough money to bought the player but indeed Arsenal almost get Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna even the rumour says Arsenal almost make a bid but Joshua Zirkzee has unique release clause which make Arsenal was unable to bought him from Bologna

Even so with Ivan Toney actually Brentford are willing to sell him but Brentford only want not less than 100 millions which Arsenal think this price is too expensive for Ivan Toney and for this summer i am sure Arsenal will give their priority to find new striker because Arteta confirmed front lines is being an Arsenal weaknesses in the last several season and Arteta too admitting one of the important factor why Arsenal was failed to gets Premier League trophy last season is because Arsenal have no sharp striker and this summer i am sure Arteta will bought at least 1 high quality striker to strengthen Arsenal squad however Arsenal might be will joining the race to gets Osimhen from Napoli

It's still a rumor, right?

Yeah, still a rumor bouncing.

We have many great coaches free this summer, like Conte, Zidane, Tuchel and Nagelsmann for example.

It's true, they need a striker who is daring and goes up and makes disasters, a striker who can make a difference and who doesn't give any importance to any defender, someone who has the Irreverence of a Messi, a CR7, someone who doesn't stop him. Come on, but that's Difficult, I could think that there are many players, but I don't know what would be the approach of an Arteta who didn't know how to read Porto's intentions well, who in the end left them there without advancing anything, this means that now The second leg in England has to go out from Minute 1 to look for that game, that is, Leave everything on the Field, and Porto knows that they are going to go after them , they have to have a very strong Defense system.

The game will undoubtedly be very close and the arsenal will open to see where it can come in, this means that when it is in full force anything can happen , I Believe and sense that Porto will come out with a very defensive line. big and will bet on going with a big counterattack, all the wear and tear will be done by Arsneal, they will all go up, that's what I think it can be.

Of course, another thing is that Porto is going to look for the Match because they want to secure it, but they are in the condition of visitors, they can't do much, they can feel uncomfortable, this is something that we must see,  I don't know if in another aspect it is possible that Things may be more in their favor , but I think that Arsenal will go all out in that match, in fact they should do so and since they don't have another attacker right now, they will have to change the game plan, because it is already known that You read it, the scheme has to be more Focused on the Attack.

Lack of Champions League experience cost Arsenal: Arteta

Quote
A lack of experience in Europe’s top club competition was a factor in Arsenal conceding a late goal in their Champions League game at Porto on Wednesday but manager Mikel Arteta said the north London side will learn from the 1-0 defeat.
Arsenal failed to get a shot on target all night despite having the majority of possession in the first leg of the round of 16 tie, with Galeno’s 94th-minute winner condemning them to defeat. Wednesday’s match at the Estadio Do Dragao was Arsenal’s first Champions League knockout game under Arteta and came six seasons after they last competed in Europe’s top-tier competition in 2016-17.
“We really dominated the game but we lacked purpose, especially in the first half, to have much more aggression, to break lines, to play forward, to generate much more threat in their backline,” Arteta told reporters. “In the second half there were much better things and we generated a lot of situations without really creating much from it, but we’ll learn from it.”
When asked if Arsenal’s lack of Champions League experience could have been a factor in conceding the late goal, Arteta said: “It’s only the last ball. If in 94 minutes we didn’t have the naivety in that one, I think it’s a bit cruel to judge it but it’s true that it’s had a big impact on the result. A lot of other things that they’ve done for the first time here, it was very good.”
Arteta stuck with the same starting line-up for the third game in succession following his team’s 5-0 demolition of Burnley at the weekend. But the Gunners failed to register a single shot on target as their recent goal spree came to a shuddering halt.

According to this, could this team include someone like Haaland? or a forward of this style? One of these transfers could make a difference, but for now I think that at the end of the season is where they can make a move or at least on Loan.

I think he realises that he is unlikely to win any trophy at MU and will probably try to win a trophy at Bayern first before thinking about a return to the EPL. Yes, he probably likes that record and wants to update it, but if he doesn't win any serious trophies, how can he consider himself a really serious top level player? I think that's a rhetorical question for every player
Who would think Harry Kane would go to Man United? That's not possible especially since Bayern Munich bought Harry Kane for a pretty penny and his goal productivity in the Bundesliga is pretty good so the team will now keep him until the end.

Harry Kane's situation is now unfavorable because Bayern Munich is experiencing problems often losing this is not Harry Kane's fault but Tuchel as a coach who set his strategy. There are even rumors that Bayern Munich will end the deal with Tuchel until the end of the season.

This is not a rumour, the coach will really leave after the end of the season, and I am glad that they decided not to fire him now, because such drastic changes in the team can only aggravate the situation. even though the chances of winning the league are objectively small, but they are there, and something to change, which will give no known result now is extremely unwise

Could be the reasons they've been chasing Dusan Vlahovic? They want to create almost the same squad like they had seasons ago?
Having no central forward I believe has to be correct,  they've been able to score goals in the premier league regardless but it'll be definitely difficult in the champions league.  We all saw Porto denying them that.
Arsenal should get Ivan Toney,  since they have some good sums to spend, they shouldn't splash off on the big man eith outrageous amount but he will do a better job than all these names I've seen.

For Victor Osimhen,  I was happy to see him returning from the African Cup of nations and scoring a goal just  to mark his register that he was present. Still not certain they'd win enough games to qualify for the Champions league,  now they have to work harder.
Robert Lewandowski has been able to score good goals and silenced the critics. He will also score again during the weekend against Getefe.

DeZerbi is the main target of Liverlpool as coach after Klopp.

Klopp also will skip 1 year, he needs to rest.

When Klopp announced he was leaving Liverpool he said he was running out of energy. Xabi Alonso and Roberto De Zerbi have been mentioned in the press, but I think Steven Gerard could be Liverpool's manager in a surprise move. He is the manager of the club El Alliance but if he gets an offer from Liverpool I'm sure he would accept it anywhere in the world. He is a Liverpool legend. If the top managers like Xabi Alonso or Roberto De Zerbi don't come to Liverpool, he would come to Liverpool immediately.
Steve G is still not worthy in my opinion if indeed he will be a successor for Liverpool to replace Klopp later. Indeed, with him already knowing the ins and outs of Liverpool will be a good thing but with the coaching track record he did actually entrusting the position of coach to Gerrard now clearly it is a risky thing and could backfire for Liverpool in the end.

Not that I underestimate his ability in this regard but not all legendary players who were good when he was a player can also be good as a coach because after all being a player and being a coach are very different. Reflecting on the case of Lampard at Chelsea or Ole at Manchester United we must be aware of the possibility of this happening even though there are also some players who can coach their former clubs and make a significant difference like Xavi at Barcelona but still bringing Gerrard is the last condition in terms of options.

Since there are some speculation posts here that Klopp could perhaps take over as coach of FC Bayern directly after his time at Liverpool, his agent made it clear again today that this will definitely not be the case. He will also not be taking over a national team after the European Championships for the time being.

It’s quite interesting that there seem to be so many specialists (and new ones like Xabi appearing all the time) but it seems that there is a shortage of head coaches on the market. Anyone who has made a name for himself can choose as much as he wants among the top offers, or do nothing at all and wait for some special option (like Zidane). I don’t quite understand why this is so, because every year many smart football players end their careers and some of them become coaches, is the conversion really so low?

Currently there is still no sign of Kane leaving the Alianz Arena because after all this can be considered the first season even though he played from the previous season but it was only a few matches before he got the trophy for the first time.
Currently the rumors of Manchester United wanting Kane are a situation that I think seems ridiculous because apart from Bayern will definitely not release this player because the sacrifices they make are also very large not only about money but in terms of negotiations that were tough before making Bayern definitely think again if they want to release Kane.

On the other hand, Mancehster United's financial condition is also still no difference even though there are new investors there but I think the situation is still the same where they will still have difficulties because the budgeted finances are not as large as other big clubs so wanting to snatch Kane with a clause of more than 100 million is a difficult situation for Manchester United to do.

I think this is just a growing issue because Bayern Munich needed a lot of effort to recruit Harry Kane from Tottenham and there is no way they will let Harry Kane go at the end of this season. Indeed, Manchester United is looking for a striker who is productive in scoring goals, but if their target is Harry Kane then it will be impossible for them to get it. Moreover, Harry Kane is showing quite impressive performance with Bayern Munich because for the time being he is the top scorer in the Bayern Munich team so it is very difficult for other teams to persuade Bayern Munich to sell Harry Kane.

As you said, it is quite true that Manchester United has financial problems because last season several of their target players could not be brought in because the price desired by the team that owned them was too high. Apart from that, we'll see whether Erik will be given more funds to carry out an overhaul with lots of new players next season.
Actually I am quite doubtful about this news because however if you look at the straight line that is happening now actually Kane to Manchester United is also an impossible thing to do for Kane.
Manchester United is a big club and we must be aware of that but on the other hand we must also know that Kane's love for Tottenham is like what so I doubt for the near future Kane chose a club in the EPL after previously he had difficulty letting go of Tottenham even though his achievements at Tottenham seemed ordinary.

Finances also cannot be missed just like that because after all, by looking at the current situation we must be aware that the condition of Manchester United, especially after last season, poured a lot of funds making them increasingly troubled by this. The striker position can still be entrusted to Hojlund even though the start of the season did not go well but it seems that in recent weeks he seems to have found his rhythm again and Ten Hag just has to trust Hojlund more and replace other searches because some lines at Manchester United also still look weak.

Jurgen Klopp already made it clear that he will be taking a break when he made the announcemnet on his exit, all these speculations that he would prolly join Bayern at the end this season, and replace Tuchel who would be leaving the club at the same time, are all false, Jurgen said he didn't have the strength to go again, so he will definitely be getting some rest after the end of this season.

Having said that, i know Liverpool have enough time to plan their recruitment for a new manager, but Klopp's decision to leave the club is going to affect them greatly and it would be almost impossible to replace him.

Mbappe is the highest-paid footballer in the history of European soccer.

According to The Athletic, his current salary costs PSG €200 million per year.

Mbappe will take a significant pay-cut to move to Madrid but he is still expected to become the highest-earning player at the club.

Link- https://www.si.com/fannation/soccer/futbol/transfers/

Guys, I'm hearing that Mbappe is going to get €15 million per year for joining Real Madrid. Is this true?

I definitely think it is not that much, to be honest.
Especially considering the fact that the amount of money that the top level footballers are getting paid right now.

Well, I guess I am also keeping the fact of the Saudi Pro League in mind. But that is something I believe I should forget. Because they are just buying players to make the league popular. That is not the case for Real Madrid, right? Smiley
Not sure how much salary Kylian Mbappe will receive after joining Real Madrid even though the amount is less than PSG but isn't that a problem for popular players who want to have a big career in higher competitions?
He could be with a club that is able to give him a big salary, like you said, the Saudi Pro League, which can give 2x a bigger salary, but he won't be able to have the experience of a career in a higher competition.
What's certain is that we'll see what his salary is, the most important thing is that Mbappe is already wearing the Real Madrid jersey and then we can see how much his salary is and if it's only 15 million but Mbappe can still make his best contribution to score big, I think he's comfortable with a small salary but has big support. from players from one club to work together to win titles in each competition.

For now, Mbappe should no longer think about big salaries, but should just think about where he should get the right club to expand his experience in a career in football while he is still young, he should be able to set the best record, continuing the journey of star players like Messi and Ronaldo, who are now already there. get a big salary from another league before retirement because of all the great journeys that the two star players have gone through and this could be a good example for Mbappe to get a great track record of experience with a big club and when he is old he can think about which club who is willing to pay it in large sums before retirement.
I would be very sad to see a talented player like Mbappe not want to join a big club just because the salary is not big enough, even though money can destroy a talented player's career.

If Jurgen Klopp accepts an offer from Bayern Munich then he has betrayed Liverpool, but we know that will never happen what comes out of Kopp's mouth I believe in those words.
Offers will definitely continue to come especially when he is unemployed in the sense of resting, but it looks like Klopp will reject many offers.

Bayern Munich's management according to the news has decided that Tuchel's tenure will end until the end of the season but it is unclear whether this is possible or not, but from the point of view of Bayern Munich's game now that they are not happy with these results especially losing to Leverkusen and Lazio in the UCL it is clear that the owner is disappointed.
So Bayern Munich will look for options where the coach they want, maybe some list of famous coaches will be linked.

Why would Klopp would be in a situation like he betrays Liverpool then? As you must have heard Klopp is leaving Liverpool by the end of this season. So there won't be any situation like he is leaving for Bayern Munich while actively managing Liverpool. The reason why he is leaving Liverpool is also different. Maybe he would even retire after leaving Liverpool as he stated that he got exhausted.

Besides Bayern Munich are expected to make an offer for Xabi Alonso according to recent news. I wonder what Xabi Alonso would think about it.  Roll Eyes
I think if Klopp joins one of the big EPL clubs such as Man United, Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea or Tottenham, then it can be said that Klopp has betrayed Liverpool. In fact, Klopp is reportedly wants taking a break from the managerial world and wants to spend more time with his family after years of work. In my opinion, this is very natural, because Pep Guardiola ever done it, and Zidane is still resting at the moment.

If Klopp goes to Bayern after leaving Liverpool without taking a leave of absence, I don't think we should call it a betrayal, because in the football industry it doesn't always prioritize loyalty, they are paid to do their job well, especially as Bayern comes from a different league. There is indeed a possibility that Bayern will face Liverpool in the UCL, but the speculation feels very far away.

Nothing has been decided yet. He's among the managers Barcelona is interested in but I doubt they will hire him. To me, hiring De Zerbi won't be able to a good decision for Barcelona.
Don't get it wrong, De Zerbi is good, but that does mean he can handle Barcelona.
Barcelona needs a very experienced coach, somebody who commands respect in the dressing room.

Also, we have to understand that just because a manager was successful in his previous clubs doesn't mean he'll be successful in Barcelona. Barcelona is a very big club, one of the biggest in the world, so that comes with a lot of pressure and expectations. In many other clubs in Europe, Xavi would be applauded for the work he has done in Barcelona. He took them from 9th to 2nd in his first season and won the league in his second season. That is an achievement for most teams, but not Barcelona.

So I'd advise De Zerbi to remain at Brighton or go to another club where there will be not much pressure and expectations like Barcelona. He should keep building himself and win trophies first.
Flick is a manager I feel would be able to handle Barcelona, but I'm still skeptical about him too.
Well lots of club letting go of their coaches by the end of the season and process of getting replacements already underway. You’ve got to act fast else you’ll be left with mo other option than to settle for an average coach or leas coah who’s got little or nothing to offer. Barcelona over the past few weeks came to an agreement to let Xavi who’s a successful ex player of the club and who’s achieved a feat as a coach at the club go. Xavi on his first season took this club from 9th to 2nd and achieved the league in his 2nd season but now things are going out wild for him. Well the club knows their financial situation and now are in search of a club who’ll be able to manage these boys and also the club’s resources. One of the names on the news is De Zerbi and I’ve got my own speculations about this choice.

De Zerbi who’s in charge at Brighton have been able to build up this team but he’s not been able to take them above the standard of average. This is on big reason I don’t think he’ll be able to achieve success at Barca especially owing to the club’s financial crisis. The clubs needs a coach with an A experience and who’ll be able to command respect especially from these young players and someone they can turn to is Flick or Nagelsmaan. These 2 could have lots ot offer to these boys and the club at large. I just wish this club gets back to their ways of being able to challenge Real Madrid rather than being underdogs or just trying to chase shadow.

I think Jurgen Klopp could be in charge of Bayern if he wanted. He must not have wanted to do this, because even if such an offer came, they openly said that he would reject it. Tuchel's time seems to be running out for Bayern. Now Bayern should do whatever they can to get a better coach. He should look for a good coach by the end of the year and I think he should give Tuchel some more time during this period.
