There are three players rumoured with PSG for a summer transfer now: Osimhen, Rashford, Gavi.
Gavi's playing position is way different than the others though. Besides I don't think there is any possibility for Barcelona to let him go either. They have signed a contract with a 1 billion euros release clause with him if I'm not mistaken. There is no way he is leaving anytime soon. However we never know about Osimhen and Rashford. My choice would be Osimhen for the centre-forward position honestly. I think he has a bigger potential.
Barcelona is in a financial crisis and there is nothing impossible for Barcelona to let go of Gavi in order to stabilize their team's finances.
For Osimhen, I think it's a pretty good choice because Osimhen is in top form and also with his young age it is possible for him to have a much better career with PSG and also now PSG has a little problem with its front line.
I think the PSG transfer rumors are quite good now, if they come true it is possible that this team will be even stronger.
I'm just wondering why some people still say that Osimhen is a great player even though I have been made aware by several people here that Osimhen only a seasonal player or in other words his performance will improve during certain seasons.
After several people said this, I realized that turns out that Osimhen history as top scorer was only last season when there was still Spalletti, but after that there was no improvement whatsoever from before.
I'm just worried that if PSG force Osimhen to pay a lot but can't make a good contribution it will be another problem for Osimhen and we can see that when he defends his country he is only able to get 1 score and in the Champions League Osimhen also doesn't perform like before.
Maybe this should be considered if you have to force Osimhen to come to PSG.
Talking about Gavi, I'm not sure if the PSG owner has any interest in getting Gavi it makes sense to keep this player because he has quite good performance as a young player and it makes sense to sell him to cover Barca financial shortfall, but the problem whether PSG wants to bring in young player who has just been seriously injured?
Gavi was having a bad time while playing for Spain but he actually suffered a very serious injury and would even be out for a very long time and it was impossible for PSG to bring in Gavi.
Well, I think we have a consensus then that Mbappé will play for Real Madrid, right!?
The question now is:
What will your shirt number be? Since the beginning of the season, Vini Jr. started wearing the emblematic number 7 shirt at Real Madrid and I believe that perhaps he wants that same number that he already wore at PSG, what do you think?
But, in order not to create a fight with Vini, Mbappé could also choose number 9 or 10.... The number 7 has great weight as it was worn by Raúl and Cristiano Ronaldo while the number 9 shirt has been free since Benzema's departure. However, Endrick also arrives at Real Madrid in the middle of 2024 and can claim the number. Number 10, currently used by Modric, could be free from the end of the season.
My "bet" is still number 7.
Easy 9 or 10. Modric is a pensioner, and it’s too early for Endrik to choose a number. As for Mbappe, I think he doesn’t care about the number since his ambitions extend much further. There is no problem for him to play under a different number for several years (or even many years), if I remember correctly Ronaldo also did not immediately put on the Real Madrid jersey with number 7.
It would be interesting to discuss what number someone would have if Haaland ended up in Real Madrid, but unfortunately this option is excluded.
I think the number 9 is much more suitable for Mbappe and Endrick can use another jersey number which is much fairer.
