Xabi Alonso will probably take a short break while enjoying his old age and while waiting for a suitable team to train. Even though he comes from Bayer Leverkusen, it looks like there is a possibility of him joining Bayern Munich, but no one knows when that will happen. Xabi Alonso is not going to be staying with Bayern Leverkusen for too long. He has built a great squad and helped the team achieved a lot of success since he joined them as the head coach. He will leave the club even not by end of this season but by next season end, he will be preparing to join a bigger club to coach. I doubt the possibility of Xabi Alonso joining Bayern Munich from Bayer Leverkusen especially now that they're at their peak in recent years — why would he want to leave now that the team he has built is close to maturity and fruit reaping. My opinion is that, even if Alonso wants to join another team, it's definitely not Bayern Munich but Liverpool. Alonso has spoken a number of times already that he currently has no interest to join any other clubs including Liverpool.

PSG could offer him whatever they have but that wont stop him from leaving.
