Honestly I agree with you even with the words "Here We Go" from Fabrizio Romano I'm still not sure it will happen. The only thing that made this transfer successful was the words "Comunicado Oficial" which are often echoed by Real Madrid when there are official announcements regarding player transfers or other important matters.

So far, there has only been confirmation through several media and journalists stating that Mbappe will leave PSG and it is possible that an official PSG statement will follow after everything is conducive. I'm also sure that PSG will still try to persuade Mbappe, but this time it's different and Mbappe seems to want to make amends for his mistake several years ago when he didn't join Real Madrid. I have the same thoughts as you, I will not believe any rumors spread from any media even though I am sure that if Mbappe really leaves PSG because both parties will not be able to extend the contract at the end of Mbappe term.
to say which team Mbappe will continue his career with seems impossible to predict because Mbappe is a mystery story that is difficult to solve unless he officially says to the public that he will join a certain team.
currently the strongest candidate is Real Madrid and several teams from the EPL but the closest is Real Madrid but even so I don't hope that he can join Real Madrid because I'm just afraid of getting too hopeful and in the end being disappointed again by being rejected for the umpteenth time.

That thing makes no sense at all. Osimhen was a pure striker while mbappe was a left winger and how can osimhen replace him? It makes sense if osimhen will be placed as a striker to replace goncalo ramos. I think that news is probably fake. PSG has been actively seeking other left wingers to replace Mbappe once he announces his departure from the club.
This transfer totally make sense only if PSG will put him as a striker. In fact, psg was also often in changing mbappe's position. Sometime he played as a striker while in another game mbappe gone as a left winger too. So, psg needs also to recruit the new winger.

All in all I believe that the best thing to do right now for them would be keeping him. If they do terrible and lose both the league and UCL, which looks likely, then let it be, not like they haven't won it before, they can win it again later on. This summer they can hire someone much better. Graham Potter wasn't having impressive stats with Brighton? I assume you are confusing him with someone else. Because Potter had a really great time with Brighton. He had a huge role in Brighton to be competitive for top places. This was why he was among the managers who were on the rise those times. Chelsea must have signed him because of being impressed also.

However we couldn't see Potter doing good at Chelsea. But like I said before I think it is more due to Chelsea's not having a great owner. No matter who they bring they are still having a bad time in the Premier League. Sad

All in all I believe that the best thing to do right now for them would be keeping him. If they do terrible and lose both the league and UCL, which looks likely, then let it be, not like they haven't won it before, they can win it again later on. This summer they can hire someone much better. Not that there are that many elite level managers left right now, Klopp is taking a year off, if he wasn't then I would say maybe that would have worked out well for them.
