Barcelona are going through a rough patch right now, both on and off the pitch, they have had huge financial constraints for the past few years and it will definitely last longer than that that. I also think so, if Alonso had stayed at Leverkusen then he would have been easier to make his name into a legend than if he had moved to another big team, especially now that Leverkusen can be called the strongest team in the Bundesliga, even Bayern can't beat them. Barcelona is not really that type of team where we are talking about a big "demise" of them, they are big enough that they have income from not only from transfers that they make from their youth setup players being sold for a good amount, but also a team that keeps getting money from both la liga and also UCL and also fans as well from ticket sales.

It's clear that the gap between Barcelona and Real Madrid looks getting wider, but last year Barcelona won the league, just because they lost it this year doesn't mean they suck. I think they will do fine eventually and that means we are going to get better and better eventually, that is the most important part of their development, it will take some time but they will be better.

Nah, Xabi Alonso should leave Leverkusen in the next summer because Leverkusen won't have a same luck like in this season. If we look on the history, when a mediocre team can perform extraordinary, the next season they will back to default even though they didn't change the manager and they didn't lose any players.

There's no point for him to stay with Leverkusen for the next season when he has a chance to move to other teams.

Xabi Alonso has caught everyone's attention with his performance this season. I think his career will always be very bright but this season could be the peak of his career. Right now he has the chance to take charge of any team he wants. He should use this chance while he has it. If he stays at Bayer Leverkusen for one more season, he might have a worse season in sporting terms next year. In that case, his popularity would diminish and he might lose some of the chances he has today.

It looks like Brighton will still be a business club this summer because they intend to sell Kaoru Mitoma and there are enough interested parties to secure the services of this Japanese player. From Barcelona, Manchester City, Manchester United, to Chelsea are interested in signing him and I think this will be another competition for big European clubs to get Kaoru Mitoma's signature.
