2x the previous all-time high! Something has happened today (Monday 20th). Anyone know what?

(Baidu and Google stats aren't available yet. Sourceforge downloads show an increase, but not as much as Wikipedia.)

Baidu still isn't updated with Monday's numbers.

However, Google Trends is now updated:

Curious, are the Chinese articles supporting Bitcoin geared toward Chinese citizens or foreigners? Like with Russia Today.

The QQ article is great. Anyone want to translate it? Google Translate provides us with some gems like:

This the increasingly hot Bitcoin, why we have so much charm?

and

The currency fluctuations Big is more suitable for long-term

Despite those limitations, I could tell that the article was EXTREMELY positive.

There was a small section at the end that warned of the regulatory gray area, and the inherent risk (if the network malfunctions and/or price goes down you could lose everything)

They even discussed mining in more detail than most articles, describing the mining operations of certain Chinese individuals and how much they made per month mining.

50BTC pool has a concept of teams. Until recently "overclockers.ru" (865GHs as of today) were at the top in terms of hashing speed. Now this list is topped by a new "avalonchina" team (1190GHs as of today). Gives food for thought.
Oh, and that pool's speed has been increasing almost linearly from the 1st of April (from 5500GHs to 17000GHs)

The UK has not even become aware of Bitcoin, I think the world in general needs to catch up before we start  looking into specific regions. Maybe some TV ads would wake people up, not that I have the capital lol.

It's not me who's making it a racial issue, it's all these people who think China is "behind" and needs to be brought up to speed with Bitcoin. I'm pretty sure all Chinese that were susceptible to investing in Bitcoin know English and have an internet connection, so a small documentary in Chinese will not change much.

Let's talk governance, lipstick, and pigs.
Does anyone know if the Chinese ASIC farms are confirming transactions, or creating empty blocks?
