This neat tool is really amazing, however i have a few open questions:
On Restart does it always start to benchmark? How to avoid this, as it takes really long time to test the non-working Algo-Miner-Gpu-combinations...
There are many miners which are not working, only a few support my current setup, how do i exclude those miner-software from benchmarking?
How to force only one errorous test per tested miner-algo combination, not 3?
thx

4ward, please send me a personal message, because your settings do not allow me to send it myself. I have one question that needs discussion.

Glad to see that Forager took back NVidia miners cleanup and algo optimizations after tests with greenTea https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/greentea-041-multipoolminer-with-autoswitch-for-nice-and-other-4862278 Smiley

Please, print some results of working. What do you get with 1-8 gtx 1080 ti per day?

I don't own any 1080Ti's
Your profits will depend on your hashrates and current profitability
What do you own? Just give us information.
This is what it looks like currently with RX480. Note that CPU is not mining because profit below configured MinProfit (in my case 0.5$)
Obviously hashrates will depend on your hardware

I'm very interested in this program as not used before.

Do I need to configure all the coin wallets on machine, download them all and create addresses.

Also what are the future plans for this tool? you make dev fee cut from it?

You can use autoexchange pools and get paid in BTC/LTC (depending on pool support) if you don't want to mess with many wallets
You can also add specific coin wallets and use WhatToMine and CoinCalc for profit calculations for pools that don't autoexchange

I am continuously working on it for more than half a year already, and plan to continue updating for newer miners and pools
As for features, I have already added many features not present in other tools, and I'm open for suggestions for more Wink

There is a configurable Donation period, by default set to 15mins/day (~1%)

I remember there was a profit factor in megaminer with some default values, but I did not see it in Forager. Maybe I will look at the situation after I get the other rigs switched to Forager/nicehash.

Maybe some people mining with Forager can make a comment on the other pools they are finding useful compared to nicehash? SOme recommendation?

The profit factor is there. In general 0.8 (as in 80%) would be reasonably safe

Hi! Pls add pools from a https://miner.rocks/

I will look into it )

This thread is a little quiet, I am surprised because Forager is working MUCH better than MM or MPM.

i like autoexchange to btc or ltc. I've tried most of those pools, did a bunch of tracking a few months ago. I found that the pools really misrepresented the profits and would never actually pay as they claimed. Nicehash has always been reliable. I'm just wondering if the situation has changed.
You can add a profit factor for them, for the cases when they really jump high in profit.
But Nicehash is indeed pretty stable in this regards

Also, miningpoolhub hasn't made many updates to coins/algos - is that true?
True, no real changes for a long time. Just updates for existing coins

Benchmarks are going very smoothly, I am impressed!

I am working on rig that has 3 rx 580 and it is doing best on cn-heavy so far, which I expect. I am only benchmarking nicehash currently. Is there another pool that can beat nicehash earnings that I should add?

Thank you!  Smiley

I would suggest several pools with auto exchange:
MiningPoolHub, Zpool, Zergpool and BlockMasters
They have more algos, allow you to exchange to LTC (and other coins if you prefer) and have lower payout threshold and pool fees

Ahashpool and Blazepool are also good, but exchange to BTC only
If you only want exchange to BTC, you can check all of the above and see which works best for you

If you don't mind having lots of coins and wallets, try using WhatToMine and CoinCalculators virtual pools for profit estimations with Suprnova, FairPool or even add your own pools (see MyPools.ps1 for example)
