You know you can make your topic and it will be convincing without those first two words in your? Bitcoin can’t be forgotten. Despite the fact it isn’t doing 5x like most altcoins, it is the king. No too much number of tokens and the price is unattainable by any altcoin.
Also, Dogecoin didn’t lose its position as king of memecoins. It still is at the top. Saying “king” doesn’t mean that they are evaluated based on price. Dogecoin started all of what we’re seeing today and yet it’s even a safer memecoin to invest in.
I think what the OP means is that we should forget about Bitcoin when "meme" coins provide greater returns in your investment. At least in the short-term. This is by no means indicative that BTC will lose its position as the "King of Crypto". After all, no other cryptocurrency can outmatch the level of security and reliability of Bitcoin. Not to mention, BTC has a limited supply and deflationary mechanism.
Most of the "meme" coins you see now, will cease to exist in the future. Only Dogecoin will remain because it's the oldest "meme" coin ever created. With a large community following, it will last a lifetime. Besides, the good-old DOGE has Elon Musk's endorsement. Once X integrates DOGE for micropayments, adoption/demand for the "meme" coin will skyrocket. Just diversify your investment to reduce risks of loss as much as possible. Who knows what will happen in the future?
