It takes a lot to apologise when you're wrong and you could have just left this and not said anything about it in the hope it was forgotten so I respect you for that. Nobody has to be best friends here but I hope people can move on from certain issues especially when in the grand scheme of things they're certainly not unforgivable behaviour.

I am ready to move on. I can’t speak to laudas intentions, but it appears he is also wanting to move on.
Contrary to popular belief, I would have been one of the first people to forgive you a long time ago. I got very tired from it all many years ago and just wanted it to stop.

My password changed recently (warning is gone already), so I'm waiting for somebody to claim I sold the account to QS and he's talking himself and it's all part of a big ploy! Of course, the reverse could be also true. I'm just putting this out there before one of said clowns does.I suggest that you lock this thread within 24 hours.

Now QS and Lauda are snuggling up virtually with a nice Rioja and a joint what relationships are next to be mended? Are we going to see suchmoon and QS sending each other kisses at the end of each post?
Not sure what you're trying to imply here. Our relationship is great as evidenced by semi recent forum events.

QS genuinely apologizing, and Lauda genuinely accepting that apology as if they care at all, are both unexpected moves in a good direction showing some semblance of mutual respect here..
I wouldn't have expected anything like this from QS, especially since he leveled the accusation without providing proof in the first place, but props to him for updating this thread with the retraction. It would have been so much easier for him not to do so.Are we getting closer to peace in the Middle East here? Shit I feel like giving someone a cuddle now

The information I received was from someone who I trusted at the time, but I have seen to bend and stretch the truth. A review of my other private conversations with this person reflects even more egregious examples of this, including examples of while I cannot affirmatively say is a lie, some representations are what I would consider to be dishonest. I am not going to comment on my source, as I previously told this person I would keep his identity secret, although some may guess based on semi recent forum events.
When I opened this thread, I took what this person said at face value and did not ask to see any underlying evidence. The claimed evidence was already shaky. For this I was wrong and I apologize.

This drama started before I even knew about this forum, and it's obvious QuickSeller and Lauda have had no love lost during my tenure. It's good to see two people end a long-held dispute mutually and amicably.

Im glad that’s true. I do wish you had said that earlier, but I don’t think I had the right to make you deny it and I now don’t fault you for not responding.
I refused on principle to be backed into a corner and forced to either confirm or deny: I was attacked by many wrongdoers (that I 'busted') essentially every other day with similar threads (albeit most of their quality is usually rubbish in contrast to your posting style). They were also without evidence or were based on "somebody told me". This one, like countless others, just looked like yet another smear campaign to me and that's why I honestly believed. Now that it's retracted, I don't think there's much else to be discussed.I ask of everyone to keep on-topic, as this might quickly spiral into another direction due to people that either hate OP or people that hate me (or both - but this is unlikely, giggles). I suggest that you lock this thread within 24 hours.
