this is done to create more public unrest and in the meantime, the puppet parliament will accept laws that allow to sell wood abroad, sell land etc.
there are only few resources left to steal in Ukraine, its industry lies in ruins, its economy will die without IMF credits
so it is only the matter of time before it collapses, which was the main idea of the foreign sponsored coup d'etat of 2014
the country as we know it is doomed,it is never going to be same anymore
both mentally and in terms of its territory

Now there is a very active destruction of the economy in Ukraine, but its inhabitants do not see this and think that they will be better in the European Union, and they are again deceived.

All this reminds me of the crazy Creek in the desert. Poroshenko Turchynov probably do not know anything about the Internet. Or you know? Need to wait for attempts to smuggle any other law in the shadow of the hype surrounding this decree. The sharps!

Yes, there is something wrong here. They created such a ridiculous law for discussion, and at this time something more serious is being done, but everyone is busy discussing the blocking of sites.

You in thread title called whole Ukraine as former country.

This is a usual tag for them:  "БЫBШAЯ УКPAИHA"

https://twitter.com/hashtag/%D0%B1%D1%8B%D0%B2%D1%88%D0%B0%D1%8F%D1%83%D0%BA%D1%80%D0%B0%D0%B8%D0%BD%D0%B0

The "New Ukraine" is exactly part of "Former Ukraine", in the same mode as DPR and LPR are parts of "Former Ukraine".

Slava Ukraini!
First of all, there are no such thing as former Ukraine.

Check how William Dunkerley use it http://www.rostov.kp.ru/daily/26402.7/3278053/ (In Russian)
So, in this article only Donbass and Crimea was called as former Ukraine. You in thread title called whole Ukraine as former country.

This is a very stupid idea. Those who need to get to these sites will find a way or most of the Russian-speaking residents will move to live in Russia.

Do You consider this ban as new proof of Ethnic Cleansing made by State?

No. This restriction of freedom of speech and choice. Ukrainians will be made slaves and they will not be able to work without their Internet resources.

And it's interesting which method will they use to block access to these sites.

Seems there will be perseqution for have an account for juridical persons on the social platforms for "not respecting the sanctions".
The ban is a obligation to providers to not elaborate the requests.

I don't think that blocking access to mainstream internet websites is going to have much of an effect other than damaging freedom.

Bans never solve the problem of propaganda. In the USSR there was no Internet and that the promotion was not conducted? Western countries have organized a radio such as Voice of America, Liberty and BBC. The signal of these stations tried to suppress, but is even more attracted the attention of the audience. It would be now. Besides Facebook, no one was banned. I am sure that the purpose of this prohibition is not in the fight against propaganda.

In past Ukraine banned Russian TV channels (even oppositional Dozhd) and all russian films made after 2013. I think it was good move to fight against propaganda.
These blocked websites was in top 10 by popularity, so bans will have big influence for many people. And I think Ukraine this time goes to far. Censore internet never was a good idea. People hate such bans, and it's not good sign for Ukraine government and president.
And it's interesting which method will they use to block access to these sites. Change DNS settings, use VPN, this is only few of ways how to evade these bans.
In my country government blocked all sports betting websites which are not registered in my country. But these betting websites make alternative domains to avoid ban. For example, bet365 have such alternative domains like 788-sb.com 365sb.com

Did you know i had to enable my VPN to reach that website? Yes Wikipedia is banned in Turkey since mid April. (the authorities say, they were running a terrorism propaganda  Grin that's why they banned it)

Welcome to Turkey.

If Ukrainians keep licking Westerners' ass they'll end up just like my country. Today it is VK, tomorrow Wikipedia, later booking.com, youtube and so on... When they start banning websites, they will never stop. That's how dictatorship works.
In Ukraine, there is no dictatorship in Turkey. In contrast to Erdogan, President Poroshenko just distracts people's attention that way. Now everyone is considering the closure of VK in the meantime, the Parliament will try to vote for some unpopular law. For example for the land market.

Such a ban to anything will not lead. People as enjoyed favorite resources and will to use them. Well, it may be necessary to use a proxy server or VPN. Crazy. Now turn to Russia. They say that Putin is also considering a ban in Russia Facebook.

Why the fuck they separate themselves from Russia in the first place? They should be cooperating... They share the same culture, almost the same language, same racial genes... Ukraine is being cheated by the Western countries and sadly, they don't even realize it yet. Maybe they became sick of being poor so they want to sell their soul for money. So sad.

USA is behind this probably. As someone stated above, this is exactly something Erdogan would do and everybody knows he is loyal to USA.

Divide and Conquer... Never gets old.

There are so many social networks I also think where you can post your mailbox and not feel any infringement. But it seems to me that in this issue it's not so simple and no one will prohibit anyone. Although it seems to me that the users themselves are personally to blame for this and do everything in that it was not necessary to use all these resources for propaganda purposes.
