Let people choose to wait,,, and get it free, batch done every 5 hours or something like this or let them choose to pay instant but pay the high fee?
So does Bustadice, for example. If I want to have my coins immediately I can check "Instant withdrawal" and the withdrawal request will be processed immediately, but with the corresponding fees. If I don't need the coins immediately, the withdrawal takes up to 24 hours, so the requests will be paid out in a batch processing I think.

The fees are quite different for the 2 variants. Currently, for example, on Bustadice the instant withdraw costs 324 bits, the slower one 62 bits.

Hi Dear Community,

As you all have mentioned, there was some increase in transaction fees on FortuneJack and not only. It was long discussed in this thread as well, that increase was absolutely not something we intended to benefit on, this was caused by issues attached to halving as Cointelegraph reported .

However, we understand concerns and complaints from the community, and have decided to waive the fee for all BTC transactions at FJ. From now on, the casino will cover all BTC transaction fees concerning deposits and withdrawals made on our website.

With you all luck,
FJ.

Amazing news to hear since for sure many users has been bothered for the huge withdrawal fees right now and for implementing this for sure many users will be relieve from stress for paying a huge fees for their withdrawals.

This could get a huge confidence for people since your company always think about the welfare of your users Smiley

Good job on the free Bitcoin withdrawals, FortuneJack! That is great news indeed from the site and I think a lot of people will appreciate it. Maybe just do everything in batch payments. Let people choose to wait,,, and get it free, batch done every 5 hours or something like this or let them choose to pay instant but pay the high fee?

Registered verification won't come to my Proton Mail. look like it comes into promotion/sponsor box, even ProtonMail doesn't have that's a feature, it's hard to register using it. When using Gmail, verify link comes into promotion box perfectly after registration. Also, I am verified phone number, are withdrawing need phone number verification?.
Afaik phone verification isn't needed for withdrawals but they still come in handy if you like their casino and sportsbook promotions because most of them would require you to link a phone number.

Thanks, @Fj team for taking care of the gamblers!
Using dynamic range fees and determining different "fair" rates per BTC withdrawal transaction will be a win-win for both parties. Now it is much more appreciated to feel as a user of brand casino.

Is it? I remember that I have withdrawn to my segwit addy from fortunejack, not entirely sure but I need to re-check. But, it is a little surprise on my side that a leading casino not updating to segwit yet. By the way what is NATIVE sewgit? Your question is all about that native thing? Because I am aware of difference between legacy and segwit but this native segwit is something new to me, it seems Lips sealed.

First of all, sorry for the off-topic, has nothing to do with gambling Smiley

The Bech32 addresses are also called "native SegWit". These are the addresses that start with bc1, "normal" SegWit addresses start with 3.
In a nutshell: The big advantage of native SegWit addresses is the higher transaction speed and the fact that the transaction fees are lower compared to classic SegWit transactions.

I can also recommend the Ledger Academie, which explains SegWit itself and the difference between the formats quite simply and clearly.

You are probably using a Nasted SegWit address when you make withdrawals. Those are the addresses that begin with '3'.
Native SegWit addresses begin with 'bc1'. They are also known as 'bech32', maybe you know them by that name. I doubt that you have used bc1 addresses on FJ but if you don't mind, check your withdrawal history and let me know.

Your generosity will be awarded with more new players and many good things will come to the company.
As most of the cases they are not processing the withdraw instantly, they may process all withdraw (per day or per 12 hrs) within one transaction; this way they may able to bear all of our fees. All the above, this must be a very big movement from FJ to attract all of us emotionally and highly appreciable action.

@FJ
Thanks a lot FJ for caring us. You people rock as usual Cheesy.

Has FortuneJack introduced support for Native SegWit? I remember trying to withdraw to a Native SegWit address a few months ago but it didn't work.

Additionally, fees tend to be low in weekends because mempool tends to be cleared in weekends. People should build their own plans and stick with making transactions in weekends to safe fees. Only if they don't have things in hurry. I will look at data and see what I can do with transaction fees. I already have ideas to start something for Bitcoin enthusiasts.

Yep I can remember spending $30 to use the network when BTC first went to 10k way back, here we are again and people acting like its a disappointment Bitcoin is not higher when actually its beyond comprehension to large sections of established finance industry.   The usability is always a key factor, it was ironic circumstance and I did wonder back then if BTC would fail/stall with such fees.

I want that DLORE. Grin

DragonLore prices are also unbelievable, I doubt the majority will believe me when I say I know someone who received this item for just playing a normal 16 round competetive game of CSGO.  Just random luck during an operation medal a few years back when cobblestone collection was new, not really normal luck of course the odds are roughly 10,000 to 1 on getting that precise bit of gear.   He sold it for about $150 not realising, didnt like the design he said but still it was free so nothing lost right..
Im in a few trading forums and the 5 BTC prize and this one are not too dissimilar though it takes some unique points (float etc.) for a Dlore to cost anything close to 5 BTC but Btc varies price with greater volatility so either prize is good by me.

but where is "login" button?
I always like to know if I'm logged into a site or not, do I have to grab my phone to engage the bet etc.   Usually in a rush, juggling 5 different things + maybe watching the game so I'll concur with this feedback :p

Jakob "JUGi" Hansen has been moved into Astralis' starting lineup as in-game leader Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander is taking a leave of absence due to medical reasons, the Danish organisation announced on Tuesday.

gla1ve will be out of action for the next three months on advice from his doctor and from Astralis' Sports Director, Kasper Hvidt, after complaining of symptoms of stress and burnout for a long time.
I should mention this in passing just because this is the dominant team and pivotal to bets placed for this promotion.    CSGO is famous for its upsets and difficulty in predicting perfectly and I guess this fits right into that.
The IGL is vital to a team so this could change everything.  Watching first match right now, Astralis will likely win it but nowhere as easily as they should have.   Maybe they'll get upto speed, cant be sure.

If you got your own wallet then just make a transaction with 1sat/byte and eventually it will confirm, this was not possible in 2017.

I wont swear to it, caveat emptor and all that but yea 3 sat a byte and go sleep, sometime the next day it often has cleared when I've done that.   The problem is BTC should be more usable on demand, so yea its good it can be so cheap and thats an improvement but also better performance is required or we'll all end up in the pockets of yucky ripple or similar.

First of all fee's have changed drastically during the segwit period, plus not everywhere in the bitcoin world uses segwit right now but the ones that uses it have improved it a ton, they are taking a lot less. I have been around for 8 years or so now and I have seen literally 0.01 bitcoin periods as well, I remember I could mine with my laptop and had to pay 0.01 for my 0.2 bitcoin mined. So all in all we are in better shape.

However I agree that when you look at it dollar ways, bitcoin was touted as the thing that will destroy all the money exchange places like paypal or vemo or whatever because this will be faster and cheaper, now I am looking at it and paypal is faster and if you are using small amounts its cheaper as well. Bitcoin only becomes viable if you are sending millions because nothing could be like bitcoin when we are talking about sending millions to someone else, there is too much red tape.

The only times when fees were very expensive was during the transaction spamming days of 2017/2018. Back then BTC was hitting like $20K and I wanted to send to my exchange to sell for fiat and I had no choice but to pay a $50 fee because it was the only way to get it confirmed. Basically I did this from my own wallet, used a $10 fee, it didnt confirm after a day, then had to do the Replace by fee option and upped it to $25, nothing and finally $50 or so got it confirmed like 6-12 hours later. It was brutal back then.

Fortunejack at the time didn't charge withdraw fees and the fees were huge to them, basically like 200-300 sats/byte and around $75+ was spent on the withdraw transaction alone. I felt bad for any exchange or bitcoin casino that offered free withdraws at the time because they were losing money. Even the ones like Poloniex which had a fixed fee of like 10K sats (they used 10K sat for like 2-3 years) they still paid like 200-300 sat/byte for the withdraw, basically the 10K sat withdraw fee never covered it.

Now its not so bad, just wait for the weekend and you will see the fees are reasonable. Just click the 30d button and see how the transactions go down on weekends. If you got your own wallet then just make a transaction with 1sat/byte and eventually it will confirm, this was not possible in 2017. So right now is not a time to panic about congestion.

VPN Friendly & Exclusive Bonuses!
I think this was discussed before already but adding a stablecoin like Tether doesn't make economic sense because of big regulatory concerns (plus the scandals they're involved in already, do we really want to keep looking at whether USDT will survive or not?).

But I see no harm in having a FJ "in-house" USD account, just convert at the time of deposit, that should be fine, right?
You can use different coins if you want. However the best part of the withdrawing process is basically waiting for the clogging to end or paying the fee of a very difficult period. I know that is not ideal but at the same time think about it this way, we are not really that fast or cheap compared to what bitcoin used to be back in the day, the price of bitcoin went up a lot more faster than the fee drop, the fee was around this much 5 years ago in many places and still around these price and that is bad however all of that because bitcoin got a lot more attention. Why do we pay more nowadays? Because there is more transactions, if transactions are a lot what does that mean? That means there are a ton more people who are sending and receiving money, which is awesome.

Use a website like this,
http://core.jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#0,24h

Which basically tracks the mempool and you can see which "sat/byte" are being filled at the moment. The mempool was very high this week, it wasn't due to the halving because the retarget is only -5%, so its mostly just more active network.

A few hours ago the 3 sat/byte were getting filled and then all of a sudden the rates started to go up, so I am not sure if we will dip to the 1 sat/byte area which would be the cheapest to withdraw in. Basically unless it happens in the next 24 hours or so, the week days will keep making the fees higher due to more transaction. If so just wait until next Sunday and see if it goes to 1-2 sat/byte and withdraw then.

I've never noticed about mempool before. Very useful link. I will check this before I withdraw my coin from FJ.
Thanks bro.

@adaseb the link that you have shared is very helpful, and furthermore you’re correct as the mempool is overloaded with unconfirmed transactions which have played their part in the fees spiking upwards. It’s also pertinent to note that these spikes in fees were last seen in June 2019, and hence we should all follow @adaseb advice and wait for a while before we choose to withdraw our coins from FJ.
