Yup,,, this is my experience. In my place it is actually very difficult to find a good bookie with regular fiat (because of my country). People in UK and Europe have a lot of choice but we have to listen to recommendations and get the ones our friends try and play at. And even so, once we withdraw, all kinds of issues and problems (usually fixed but takes weeks). So FJ should be no different for KYC.

It is weekend. FortuneJack is understaffed on weekends + some of their staff is on holiday until Monday. You have probably seen the notification, either on your FJ account or in your email. I saw it when logging in to FJ yesterday.
If you don't have multiple accounts on FJ, haven't tried to cheat the site in any way, your withdrawal will be approved. You just have to wait.  

@xpney there’s nothing you can do except follow @Pmalek advice and remain patient, because FJ has a strict security system in place and only genuine users are paid hence if you’re genuine you’ll definitely get paid by them.
It is sad that shift has changed from "shady casinos" to "shady gamblers" in the recent years, here it is a potentially good guy that we have absolutely no idea if he is a scammer or not, there is no proof, no nothing about him bad but because of all other thousands of bad people I am judgmental about him already.

I have withdrawn a lot of bitcoins from fortunejack so far, I have seen many people who wanted to withdraw and took some time but eventually got their money, but whenever I see someone complaining about it and stuck on security I can't help but think "maybe the gambler tried double spending and that is why they are checking him", because that literally happened hundreds of times already and casinos are not doing instant withdrawals anymore because of those people.

If they announced it officially, with time gaps for their users to withdraw money, and if they will come back to fully normal operations after the holidays, everything is fine, IMO. As far as I know of, FortuneJack has built up their highly reputation here. Most of gamblers love them.

I guess their visionary is: If they allow users to bet and withdraw money during holidays, when their support team are off or lack of human resources for support tasks, when withdrawal issues come from customers, how they handle support tickets. Then, their users will fall into paranoid, that is worse.

Exchanges can fall into troubles sometimes but people still use them. I doubt that all users will abandon FortuneJack or whatever other reputable platforms for some kind of reasons that don't seriously damage their funds or their lives.

If you allow people to gamble, you should allow them to withdraw as well. Hotels do not close on holidays for example, or hospitals, some business' continue operating like nothing happened in new years. I can understand the "need" to actually relax a bit and not work but they could have hired temps to deal with these things beforehand. Not much we can do about it now tho, like even if we give feedback today we are already very late about it so I think it wouldn't matter, we just gotta wait for a week for them to come back.
The difference between fortunejack going to vacation like this and any other place doing it is that you know your money is safe when they are on vacation.

Like for example, if any new website tried to pull this off, we would call them scammers until they get back and pay everyone their money, but with fortunejack they have built YEARS of trust with us and always paid and always been honest with their dealings with the customers so we know that this is actually just a vacation. Is it in bad taste? Surely, should have they done something wiser like keeping couple people on shifts? Definitely. But, we all know that in a week we will be capable of withdrawing any money we have on the website and not doubting the fact. That is why they were so easily gone.

I don't think this is much of an issue as long as they announced it ahead of time. Also does anyone know what type of withdraws won't be processed? Is it the withdraws that need manual approval or all withdraws from the site?

Because most of my withdraws were pretty much near instant and very rarely does my withdraws need manual intervention by confirming the withdraw request by email. Only time I had to do that was when my IP address changed or when my 2FA credentials changed. Every other withdraw was pretty instant, took like 5 minutes.

It seems that only those who are registered on the affiliate program who received this email. Surprisingly, I have been blocked on the affiliate program months ago due to the new terms but I still receive many emails from the affiliate program.
It is not clear which withdrawal wont be approved during the holidays. It is only being said that "they wont be able to approve any withdrawal request". Whether it is specified for the affiliate program only or it applies to the casino's withdrawal.

Edit: I just requested a withdrawal and it is processed instantly so I think only withdrawals from the affiliate program which wont be approved.

To be honest I have to agree with your opinion. Fortunejack staff should not be on holidays on the same time, at least there should be someone who can serve players during the holidays because they are in holidays for a bit long time (almost a week). As one of their players, I cant do anything except accepting their decision and suggesting something.
I have some funds at Fortunejack at the moment (around $800 plus additional $400 from the promo because I won 4th place on the last Christmas spree promo). So I'll just keep it on my account and wait for them to come back from holidays then I can request a withdrawal.  Hopefully I can be patient so I wont use that amount to keep playing as I may lose it all if I keep playing while waiting for 8th.

Edit: Seems that it applies for the affiliate program only as I have just requested a withdrawal and I received my withdrawal within few minutes only. Sorry if it is misleading information as I havent noticed that the email was sent from the affiliate program previously.

What gives me hope about myself is that none of you guys actually won, I know that is a horrible thing to say and I should hope someone eventually wins but honestly I have been so horrible in the past few weeks that I missed that one time I made 5/7 as well, it has been over a month since I was even remotely close so it makes me feel alright to see other people who fail like me, at least helps me realize I am not alone in this and I am not the only one who failed.
