Spear the bees
Thanks for information its really useful for a newbie . Based on the time and activity period we must spend more than one year to get senior level. Its really Good concept in one year continues participation will improve lots of knowledge.

Less than one year, actually. Since Sr. Member is at 240 activity, that amounts to 240 days. It's 17 activity periods that one would have to pass by to reach the rank.

Dates when activity points are triggered:

Thanks, bounty. I quoted this so it won't be hard to find.

So I can only get maximum 14 activity points in two weeks?

Maximum 14 activity points in every 2 week period.
If you want to know when the 2 week periods start, you can have a look at this spreadsheet.

Since the value of Bitcoin has gone up drastically, relative to everything else, shouldn't there be a decrease in the total BTC donation amount?

No, theymos ever said the donation amount won't change no matter how far bitcoin price changed.
Theymos refers to bitcoin, not dollar.

I do understand that argument. Having said that, It would seem very likely, that the donation amount was set depending on Bitcoin's value at the time of rules setting (maybe it wasn't).

I am new in this forum and it is very helpfull to understant the Bitcoin world and find opportunities
I have only some reserve about rules and definitions : I was searching about 1 Hour to finally find this topic
it is better to put in first position at home page or to add it (+rules + FAQ) to the list beside profile, messages, members, ....

There are stickies in every section and people do usually find their way to Meta. When you are a newbie, you should do all the reading you can. So I don't find too much wrong with the placement of this thread.  Smiley

I did.. but my avatar still the same. So where i can find about it?
Press CTRL + F5 to refresh your cache and your avatar should update.
FYI, if your avatar is meant to be the Exscudo one, then it has changed.

Thanks for information.Good to know. Smiley

Hi guys, i need some help.. i have changed avatar but my avatar still the same

This is the wrong section to post for that help. Your avatar has nothing to do with your badge or activity.  But if you give it a few minutes, the changes will take effect. Make sure to refresh, as well.

How does the Activity count? I read that it is usually less than posts count.

The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Activity is updated every hour.

You may earn maximum 14 activity points in every two weeks.  It does not count if you post more.  Thats why you may have less activity points.

I created my account about a half year ago however I will never be able to get a high activity because I had around 3 months of only lurking without a post?

Correct. You need to be active and make posts in order for your activity to rise. FYI, your Activity can never be greater than your post count.

Are you allowed to post an url when you're a junior member?

You can post links but sometimes they are likely to get tagged as suspicious links which will make them invisible for others. Until now, I'm not sure when they get tagged because even famous sites like Google forms or spreadsheet get that issue, I've seen this on people who make their ICO thread with a new account.

Are you allowed to post an url when you're a junior member?

As far as I can tell you can post a url when you are still a newbie but you cannot embed images.

I think they should change the newbie rankings slightly to account for users like me who have been here for 4 years but made few posts. I still have to wait 360 seconds between posts because I am a newbie.
