There are no restrictions on how many you can post, but there are time restrictions which prohibit spamming. I would concentrate on the quality of your posts as opposed to the quantity because you can certainly be banned for making poor quality posts. I don't think it has anything to do with your member status. There is a character restriction on topic titles and it should be common to all users (including legendary). Prevents people from making their full post in the title.

I think you should try to switch browsers and see if it works. Had the same experience, it is not working and with restrictions with using IE, but when I switch to Google Chrome, I was able to type the whole subject and create a topic itself.
