New cgminer release (2.3.0) supports icarus.

Just finally released my java Icarus miner (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/rg7miner-icarus-fpga-board-miner-65933). Maybe ngzhang can give it a try with his fpga army 
I'm curious if it can handle that much boards.

Yes, I also prefer to have something long term stable running 24/7; instead of having something with 5% more performance and after 6 months it is out of order...
So keep up the good work and always be on the "save side"...

3rd batch will ship with V3 bitsteam, same as 2nd batch.
the reason is, 200M bitsteam has a 1% average error rate. and 190M is 0.06%. and it's really soooooooo much heat for this kind of chip package. it's not recommend for run a risk for only 5%.

3rd batch will ship with V3 bitsteam, same as 2nd batch.
the reason is, 200M bitsteam has a 1% average error rate. and 190M is 0.06%. and it's really soooooooo much heat for this kind of chip package. it's not recommend for run a risk for only 5%.

Cool, but does it have the same thermal dissipation cpacity as the previous one or more? I'm also wondering if the new Icarus boards will run at a higher clock rate.
According to digikey this new fan has a CFM rating of 11.0.
And you did not answer my question in regards to the stands :p So..umm, any idea where I might find them? I found shorter ones, but none so long as the ones in your picture.

any version of icarus bitsteam after V2 is compatible. at least support now V2~V4 function.
i may add some new features in the bitsteam in the future, but they will be at least compatible with now V2~V4 bitsteams.

This cgminer works with any version of the icarus bitsteam?
I am using a V3 bitstream when I wrote those code. it should be works fine with all bitstream. the V3 will return only one nonce. V4 is much better. it will retrun 0 ~ 2^32 nonce. but for now the code will only take care only one nonce.

what is the format of the V4 nonces? is there some char slip them? or just 8bits nonce by 8bits nonce?
