Hello everyone, the Semi-Finals are over, and we now know who will fight for the 1st and 2nd place, and who will fighting for 3rd.
Some nice prizes are in stake now, as you all know.

Prizes for the Side Competition Finals:
- 1st 500 mBTC Casino House Credit
- 2nd 300 mBTC Casino House Credit
- 3rd 100 mBTC Casino House Credit (to be determined by a matchup between the players who lost in the semi-finals)

Side Competition schedule:
Final(3rd-Place) & Final: 31 December to 1 January at 00h UTC

All rules stay the same, except that the finals will only last a day, and there is no daily challenge.
As you can see in the schedule both finals will take place in the same day, that is also the final day of the main competition.

Remember that you still need to place at least 3 bets to qualify for points.
(Of course I expect you to be placing a lot more than 3 bets, since like I said before, the final will take place on the last day of the main completion as well)

Yes that's true, but he has a shot at top3 if he risks a little. If things go wrong in the next bets, then he can do what you said to cut losses.
Anyway he is well known in this forum, so I'm guessing he is used to big bets, so he is probably not here for the 100mBTC.

you still can place the remaining bets and get the participation prize, that can be used to cut your looses, and will help the top 7 people to get full prizes

if you do 1% bankroll bets, then at worst you'll lose around 20mBTC, far less than you can earn with the house credit

I guess the tipsters saved the last days to get in real profit xD
The top3 is now getting to the normal ROI% of this competition.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to place by bets for this competition, since I busted my bankroll in the start, by not respecting the bankroll limits, so I guess I will be waiting for the next one, hopping to get another shot at top7!

Also congrats to Joca97. A big jump in ROI% today. I wonder how far he will get on these last days.

This announcement is coming late because we had the problems you already know, and are solved now.

I believe we are in conditions of keeping the schedule initially determined, so the Semi-Finals are already running.
All rules stay the same, as in the last phases.

Side Competition schedule:
Semi-Finals: 27 to 30 December at 00h UTC
Final(3rd-Place) & Final: 31 December to 1 January at 00h UTC

Daily challenges Schedule:
Tuesday: Winning bet at the highest odds (minimum odds @1.2)
Wednesday: Highest number of wins during the day (minimum odds @1.2)
Thursday: Parlay won with the highest number of selections (minimum odds @1.8)

Hello everyone, everything seems to be solved so lets just handle the side competition problem.
We had some users that weren't able to place their bets yesterday:

Pai mei; Mami.eryta; BurstIncomeAsset; Too.Cool(E2)

Their opponents were able to place bets, and this is their ROI% made yesterday
White Sugar (0.62%); Emperor Magnus (1.52%); Karpeles(E3) (0.79); Mark Frappeles (3.94)

We think it would be unfair not to let them bet today as well, since they should be allowed to respond to their opponents, but it would also be unfair to let them have an extra day, and already start with positive ROI%.

So, the best option here, is to let the users that already have positive ROI, choose if they want us to ignore their ROI% made yesterday, and just count the ROI they will make today, from bets made after they inform us of that decision.

Here is today ROI for users in side competition:
Pai mei; Mami.eryta; BurstIncomeAsset; Too.Cool(E2): all with 0%
White Sugar (-2.83%); Emperor Magnus (-15.46%); Karpeles(E3) (-3.15%); Mark Frappeles (3.75%)

So, given all this:
- Users that already have ROI% from yesterday can choose to keep that ROI, and that will be the value used for #day 3 of the Quarter Finals
- Users that weren't able to place bets yesterday and have 0% ROI, will be able to place them today.
- Users that did made their bets yesterday can choose to ignore that value (it's not unfair because they all had positive ROI, so it's up to them). This will give them the possibility to respond to their opponents that are only betting today. If they choose to do this, we will only count bets made after the post or pm, where they inform us that they want to do so. So after that post, we will check for bets placed and current ROI before the post, so we can ignore those bets and ROI%

(Remember users that placed bets yesterday, need to inform us (with a post or pm), if they want us to ignore that value, and count only the ROI% from bets made after they inform us)

Pliss make today was the last chance for side competition (3th day), because last night i manage to borrow a few dogecoin from my friends...

Like I said before (read my last two posts), everything seems to be ok for the second day, so we can update the provisional standings of the quarter finals.

As for the third day, we will decide what to do tomorrow, but we will of course find a solution that does not harm anyone, for the side competition.
So don't worry. But please inform us, like Pai Mei did, if you had any troubles placing your bets on the 25 of December.
