Hello Google+, we use Global ROI% (the one used to determine the winner of the main competition).
We normally take that ROI% in consideration by the time we check the points if both users don't have any open bets. If they have open bets, and waiting for them to resolve will not interfere with the schedule of the next phases of the side competition, we wait.
usually i see you make an update after 00.00 forum time , but no with yesterday
i have dropped to 50% for two times but gained back to 109 really a tight contest
too bad i have only 4 bets left so i will just keep it for the right moment .
You only have 4 bets but a really good score, although in this edition things are really competitive. Last edition your ROI% was enough for me to get second place, and on this edition at least top7 is really close to get that ROI%. Really hard competition. I still have a lot of bets to make on both accounts, but after last parlay with Roma making me lose the bet that way I don't even know if having so many bets to make is good or not lol

Like it happened in the last phase, the user in bold are the ones that already used their "joker" and go their points doubled, or were awarded 1 in case they scored 0 in the normal point system.
Extra points Challenge schedule:
22nd October: Winning bet at the highest odds (minimum odds @1.2)
23rd October: Highest number of wins during the day (minimum odds @1.2)
24th October: Parlay won with the highest number of selections (minimum odds @1.8)

Hmm, the rules can seem a bit complicated at first, but here's an outline of how the points are distributed in any given day of the Knockout Phase (and the process for the Group Phase is very similar as well):
- We check to make sure both participants placed bets on that day - we start here since anyone who didn't place at least one bet on a given day can't receive points for that day.
- We then check that day's change in ROI for both participants, and attribute 1, 2 or 3 points to the one with the greatest increase in ROI (or the least loss of ROI, if things didn't go so well, I guess ).
So, as an example, let's say participant A increased his ROI by 5%, and participant B lost 3%. As the difference in ROI change between the two is less than 10%, participant A (the one with the highest increase in ROI that day) wins 1 point. Had the difference been between 10% and 20%, participant A would have received 2 points. A difference of more than 20% would have netted him 3 points. - Finally, we check to see if either participant won the Daily Challenge. If so, the winner will see the points he received that day doubled or, in case he didn't receive any points that day, he will get 1 point.

Hey, everyone. Here is the update for the last day of the 1/8 Finals. To those of you who passed to the Quarter Finals, congrats.
Also, we thought it best to move up the start of the Quarter Finals to tomorrow, so as not to miss Saturday's games.
So, the Quarter Finals will run from the 22th to the 25th of October (00h UTC).
Knockout phase:
And finally, the Daily Challenges schedule for the Quarter Finals:

23rd October: Highest number of wins during the day (minimum odds @1.2)

I saw your last bet it was really awesome unfortunately bets do not qualify for the side competition for bets placed when the ROI calculation ends ( Okt 21 ) while all bets today does not affect to point .

I just don't know how they use it. If it is by the time they count the points, or if they use those competition periods and only check it at 00h UTC of the day they check points and announce winners etc
Anything that I would agree but we need to hear the answer of the contest manager at least to avoid misunderstandings in the final later
by the way you seem to be in a safe position with 3 points it is difficult for hahay to chase your points unless hahay won parlay with higher odds
and won the challenge today.

Hello everyone, here is the update after the second day of the 1/8 Finals.
Important note: Please take special attention to the number of bets. The 1/8 Finals have 3 "betting days", so as stated in the rules, since you need an average of 3 bets per day, that means you need to place a minimum of 9 bets total, for this phase.
If you fail to do so, you will not advance to the next round, even if you make more points than your opponent.

I have a doubt regarding the extra point system, but first I would like to confirm that I can still receive any prizes from the side competition only at the end of the main competition, as it already happened in the last edition.
Now the doubt regarding the normal point system:
I know I already used my joker, and since I want to keep the benefit I know I can't double my points again, but my question is if I can "steal" the joker from my opponents. Let's say that today I have the "Highest number of wins during the day". I can't get my points doubled but if I win this, that means that my opponent didn't win the challenge so no one will get their points doubled, is that correct?

Yep, that's about right. You can receive the prizes only at the end of the competition, if you prefer, and yes, if you can prevent your opponent from winning a challenge (and you have already won a challenge yourself), neither of you will get your points doubled.

Hello jordixal, I will explain giving as an example your "betting day" vs your opponent.
First lets keep these intervals present,
Normal point system
- Based on gaps:
Gap < 10% -> 1 point
Gap 10% - 20% -> 2 points
Gap > 20% 3 points
Now, like I said I will use your daily ROI% vs Bolt Brownie
So in the first day of the 1/8 Finals (18th to 19th October 00h UTC)
jordixal: 2.60
Bolt Brownie: 13.03 %
So here we have a difference of 10.43%. That fits in the second gap interval so Bolt Brownie was awarded 2 points from the normal point system.
But we also have the extra point system, where users will see their points doubled if they win a challenge.
For the 18th October the daily challenge was: "Winning bet at the highest odds (minimum odds @1.2)"
This is your winning bet at highest odds:
