Info :

Gavin Andresen has changed the Bitcoin code to block any output with a value of less than 54uBTC:
https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/2577
...
This pull defines 'uneconomic dust' as 54.3 uBTC (5430 satoshis, about $0.007 at current prices [$129.00 per BTC]),
and treats any transaction with outputs less than 5430 satoshis as non-standard (won't be relayed,
won't be mined).
...

I guess the sites that now pay you 1, 5, 10 satoshi per visit will make you wait months if not years before payout

Nice list.

Will some of the free sites have to shut down when the new small output restrictions start?

Sombunall* will shut down, imo.

Satoshi Dice is actually a good one...

Gambling site, not a free bitcoin site.

+ there is some other websites like this one who does NOT take fees...

Just X-posting

Yesterday the new code optimizations were rolled out and the coinreaper part of the site will hopefully be much faster now.

We have lowered the average CPU usage by 1/5th.
The peak cpu usage has (preliminary figures) been cut down from 80-100% to 4-8%.
This also lead to the number of simultaneous webserver threads went from 6 to 1.

If you see any strange behavior or errors we would appreciate if you reported it in this thread.

Most people these days are used to having ads on the websites they visit

I hope bitcoin will always be the king of them all.

And this tells their relative values (those that have gain acceptance) :

I've tried this site the last three days, and I've gathered 0,0000003901 BTC (Keep in mind that they are using 10 digits).

So If I'll get 39,01 satoshi for three days, it'll take me a bit over 21 years to reach the payout limit. Guess the honey's rotten by that time...

Here is a site that claims to give out free bitcoins for visiting websites (similar to Bitvisitor.com)
http://www.honeybitcoin.com/

BUT, the payout only comes after BTC 0.001, and with a payout per webpage of:
0.0000000050 BTC per webpage visit (at 5 min waiting time for each site), it's gonna take 200 000 website visits to get anything!

So after doing the math, it's probably best to avoid this site!

Ya, so it will be quite a while before someone can confirm it pays out, which is required before it gets added to the list...

Thanks for letting us know about this.

Yes, rotten indeed.

"I've gathered 0,0000003901 BTC (Keep in mind that they are using 10 digits)."
I have seen this trick. Instead of telling us they are paying 39 satoshi they added 2 more digits to make it looks like they are paying 3901 satoshi Smiley

If I were them, I would go all the way and claim I am paying 3.901,000,000 nakamoto or 3.901 billiion nakamoto (0.0000003901000000 - using 16 digits after the decimal point) Smiley

Question :

Anyone got paid recently from http://bitvisit.com ?
Their first 2 payments to me were instant - 0 waiting time after payment requests wre made. My third payment request was reported as paid/withdrawn on their website but I have not seen this reflected in my bitcoin wallet after 48 hours as of this writing.

I am waiting for enough to build up to withdraw but I will pay attention when I do withdraw.

Anybody else having problems like this?

Still waiting for that 3rd payment.
I have visited all of their available web pages 3 days ago, my guess is that unless they get new business, I will just have to sit tight.
