TBH, that platypus avatar is dope! Which software you use to draw the avatar, paint or?
Hahaha, I found it quite out of shape though. 
I use sketch.io, an online paint software, and I quite like it, but a few flaws are that the floodfill may not be smooth, and the save file may be corrupted somehow (sighs). Here's the remains of MickeyMouse.https://i.imgur.com/iKutOtW.png
Using the touchpad to draw, hence the simplicity and out of shapeness.

Hi, I admire your art work with the Avatars!
I hate the track pad. I use my xp-pen graphic tablet ( Deco 01 V2 ) for drawing in Gimp.
I feel like drawing is so much easier, especially if you want to make some shapes with the pen tool.
graphics tablets would be helpful for artists, illustrations, designers that do more hand drawn typography and branding pieces.
(Don't expected a really detailed version of him though
