Considering the lack of users, clearly, my offer wasn't attractive

I just set this up for someone, and realized it's less work than I expected. So here's a new offer:
Setup including running for the first month: $80
Each additional month: $10 (assuming a reasonable number of users)
Second campaign from the same campaign manager: 50% off. Third and more campaigns: 75% off.
Occasional changes: free of charge.

To set this up, I need 5 things from you:
1. A weekly cut-off day and time (preferrably midnight UTC)

2. (optional) A minimum character count (say 100 characters per post)

3. A list of accepted userIDs:
If you make this a public post on Bitcointalk, you can edit it weekly for updates.

4. A list of boards that shouldn't be counted (preferrably in this format) (just the board numbers is enough):

I think so, yes. The campaign manager will still have to do a manual review.

LoyceV the first sentence was a kind of introduction, with which I explained that I had already seen the description of your method of counting characters. Besides, you are saying quite obvious things ... and I completely agree with you that the length of the message in no way reflects its quality, (for this there is a merit system). But if you do not take this factor into account, and be guided only by statistics, then it seems to me that this would be a good addition to the already existing indicators, (f'ex, to display data in a campaign like ChipMixer, where high-quality posters are a priori involved).

Do you mean that when counting, the russian letter A is equivalent to 7 characters? ^{[A in HTML it renders as А]}, (also, I would also not count single characters with double-sided spaces).

There's this:
Adding them per week (and calculating the average) is easy, but getting the exact character count per post is much more difficult. In Russian for instance each character takes a bunch of characters in HTML, and that's what I count.

My two cents ... I'm not sure if this question has already been raised, but it would be great if, in addition to everything else, a counting of the number of characters was added. I'm talking about the average for each user, say on a weekly or monthly basis, (based on statistics, managers will be able to have a more detailed idea of how meaningful the conversations of a particular campaign participant are).

I didn't add it because that topic is only for forum-related data. Not for (my) services.

I haven't worked on it since there has been zero interest in this service.
From my list:
1. I've just removed this from my list. It's not important.
2. That would still be cool to add, although ideally it should happen at random times, so it might be better as a separate service.
3. This is still on my list, but I haven't even checked why this link doesn't properly count sent Merit anymore. I don't think anyone uses it since BPIP offers a better version now.
4. A graph with horizontal the hours and vertical the number of posts in that hour would instantly show how well posts are distributed during the week. If there's any interest I'll add it.

I stumbled upon this thread by accident and remembered a similar service from LoyceV, (but for a long time I could not find this thread). You could add this thread to the list LoyceV's useful data on Bitcointalk? Btway, as a matter of fact, I wanted to know how things are with updates, since judging by this, there are still a number of unrealized tasks.

I could, but a password-protected directory is much easier. Only the campaign manager has to get access to this.

I don't archive hidden boards, that scraper doesn't log in so it doesn't see those posts.

For posts in Investigations, do you think it is possible to replace the entire post with the URL to the post (or with the one in your Unedited Posts archives) for managers to assess manually, changing it from this:

Since links to Investigations can't be accessed without logging in (IIRC?), it keeps the post contents private. You can use a regex that looks for occurrences of

Economy / Trading Discussion / Scam Accusations / Investigations

in the title of your pages.

Although correct, that feedback was not for the service I'm currently offering.

LoyceV actually helped DarkStar_ to count posts in the ChipMixer campaign in 2019. You can check it at his Trust summary, use DarkStar_ keyword to search quickly.


This idea is not bad and it is no harm to open a new service.
I contacted LoyceV few times and he helped me with data, free if:

• He thinks my request is reasonable
• He thinks it is for my works relate to the forum issues

It is reasonable to charge fee if you make request for things you earn money from. 

How much an average campaign manager get paid? I don't know. I remember once I was in contact with you for having some data but as you wanted that to be a paid service (which is reasonable of course), I had to quit the conversation with the project owner as they offered me very low payment.
An average paid CM is unlikely to use your service I guess while your targeted CM wouldn't like to use your service as they will have to check the posts manually to ensure quality.
Nevertheless, there's a chance that bounty campaign manager will be interested in your service as they barely check the quality of the post; they just count the number. Your project would be a good hand for them.

If the red colored amount would a deleted post count then this version can not help much to the managers. Yes, managers need to check all post manually for checking the Quality. Also almost all the campaigns has some rules like for post characters, must post in a suitable sections, post will not be counted in some boards/sections, etc. So I don't think how these matters will filled by this scripts. But yes if the final version can arrive the solution and can give good results according to campaigns rules then it will be really great one service by loycev again.

Red: not counted (posts on boards that don't get paid) (posts #37 and #40)
Green: counted posts.

I scrape each user's post history as it is, deleted posts don't show up.

That still requires manual checking indeed.

I've considered adding a scatter graph, but didn't get to it yet.

From the other users, I can guess red is for deleted posts, green is for total weekly postcount. but for that case, TryNinja, stats are not matched.

It is for postcount only, with this version. I know managers have to check post quality and contexts by themselves. Would you interested in to add average of time between post, in minute?

It can be used when managers are looking at campaign applications.

I've been thinking about offering this service for a few months now, so here it goes

Are you a Signature Campaign Manager?
Do you have a campaign that runs for a long time?

Examples
It's easiest way to explain my service is by just showing what I offer. I made these examples for the ChipMixer Signature Campaign.
Part 1: Post counting
Example 1: loyce.club/sigcamp/chipmixer/week_171/
This is a public sample, a real version will be password protected because it can include posts in Investigations, which shouldn't be publicly accessible. Week 171 didn't have such posts.
Part 1 is based on the posts as they are at the end of the week (or month, depending on the campaign).

Part 2: A quick overview of the state of the campaign
Example 2: loyce.club/sigcamp/chipmixer/
I got this idea more than a year ago, but never completed it. It does not include posts in Investigations.
Note: this sample data is incomplete, some users are missing because I collected the data with an outdated list of usernames. This sample doesn't get automated updates, a real version would get frequent updates to continuously reflect the current state of the campaign.
Part 2 is based on unedited posts as they were initially made. This includes all posts before edits or deletions.

Pricing
I don't mind doing things for free, but since campaign managers don't work for free, it seems fair to charge a fee:
I can add your data somewhere on loyce.club, or I can upload it to your own server.

New: Highlight changed signatures
Some users try to cheat signature campaigns by switching their signature back and forth between campaigns twice a week. As part of my convenient service for campaign managers, I now keep logs of signature changes of participants. Example: LoyceBot's signature.
All signatures are checked at random times, on average at least once a day. I keep track of the last checked date, and show all changes. This signature for instance looks the same, but made some changes to non-braking spaces so it was detected.
