Just crossposting since it's related that I am also offering a paid variant/upgrade:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/hosting-for-bitcoins-164559

This is all really just to get things rolling. If it takes off and I see there is interest/need for hosting in this community I will step up the resources/hardware and provide much more bandwidth/storage/memory/support for custom scripts/applications and cpu intensive things.

You are extremely paranoid.

edit: most of the projects people have brought to me so far have had nothing to do with storing coin by the way. They're just related to bitcoins. But you know try do something nice, fuck me right? I really don't know why there are a few of you "old guard" dipshits who are convinced from the outset I am a scammer/criminal/thief. I have useful skills I don't have to steal. It is more valuable for me build a relationship with the community and form partnerships.

Mosper, very generous. I think people may be curious... what's in it for you?

Access to the source of any project, so indirect access to any coins that project may control.   Undecided

It's possible it would just depend on the kind of management you're looking for/how often you need someone in the data center.

I'm going to build a Bitcoin-based business. Do you have access to datacenter? Are you reselling? I'm not really interested in any free offering though, sorry. I'm a happy Amazon EC2 and Digital Ocean customer. But I'm thinking that I may need to skip the VPS route. So, do you have access to a physical location to host?

http://www.thingsgohere.com/

I made this a little easier than having to PM me. Just go through the form for the BitHost Free hosting package and put any extra details in the "Comments for host" box at the end of the checkout. It will go to pending and notify me and I'll check it out and set up your account. I just threw it together quickly so if things aren't perfect (though they should be functionally) let me know.

Practice/experience/establishing myself in the community

edit: I'm also in the act right now of setting up an automated system so you can just sign up with your existing domain and have your account details emailed to you all automatically. Should be good to go in an hour or two and I will  bump when ready.

edit: to explain a bit more I want to start my own webhosting company one day. i currently do it for a living for one of the largest and most respected in the world.

They've said they can't sticky it because it would be endorsing my offer over others (though I don't know of any other offers like this) so this thread will have to do for now.

My family is running a quaterly print publication since 1962 I am thinking of dedicating this REGISTERED NEWSJOURNAL to the BTC community The print edition of the forthcoming issue of our newsjournal by name  "PRAJASEVE" will be published in a few days from BANGALORE.Please mail me ur best offers for free publication to < [email protected]>  2000 copies of A-4 size. 4 pages distributed in BANGALORE........I Want assistance to put our journal PRAJASEVE online
I could help with this I would just need you to PM details about when you want to do this/how you want it hosted (browser magazine form online/pdf/downloadable package etc).

Does this include running a bitcoind instance each?

Anyway, maybe you should ask the mods for this to be stickied while the offer is available.
Can you be more specific about what you might want to do? and I will look into having it stickied.

$15 bucks or so until the market for their sub-topics exists or until you put some SEO bait on them and get them heavily ranked  for the topics they reference. Also keep in mind domains cannot be transferred for 60 says after purchase so the person has to want to keep them on their current registrar since you recently registered them which lowers the value a bit potentially.

and no rush on the hosting I'm not limiting it to one going to offer this up until I feel I've hit the limit for what I can give away (probably a pretty high ceiling though).

I'm not in the market to buy domains myself right now (I am a domain reseller as it is and get access to discounted prices) but mostly because I have two other projects I want to get off the ground first and all of my money is going there. I don't know what's stopping people from taking advantage of this offer though I agree I was surprised as well.
