I see that many of you faced problem that the mining link disapeard from everywhere.
Why this happened? Will it be fixed? Will mining rates become higher? Or everything would be the same

They said it's in beta stage so the link was removed but it seems it's still working. It should be this, replace the XXXXXXXXX with your USER ID:

See that 3000 satoshi that came between 10th and 11th? Any idea where it came from Huh (My id is 2763163)
It was not from free plays, multiply or referrals https://i.gyazo.com/ca7ee5fca0899f7aae73de23b62f568e.png
And even from stats I can see my total freeplay and multiply profit is 0.00035347 so I have no idea where it came from.

It's not gone, we're still working through the beta testing.

We removed the menu option but the URLs are still active. How's your experience been so far?

It's been great! I don't have a high hash rate, but still see a little income from it which is all I need Smiley Any chance you have a timeline on the next steps for the mining? Maybe when you're planning to try to take it out of beta?

Hello, guys!
What do you think about upcoming hard forkes?
Are you going to leave your funds on freebitco to get new forks? Is freebitco worth to trust
for getting new forks? How was the situation with bitcoin cash?

Freebitco handled bitcoin cash quite well, not worried at all.

I agree this is right and i saw this too. After the Fork on 1st August you was able lil bit
later to exchange your BCH into BTC on the site!

FreeBitco handled the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) fork great - shortly after the fork they added a button to exchange your BCH to bitcoins at a reasonable exchange rate (slightly worse than that of the exchanges at that time). As far as I know later they added an option to withdraw your bitcoin cash if you haven't exchanged it, so they got all options covered.

I think they'll handle the upcoming forks in the same great way, but it's up to you to decide whether to leave your balance there or to withdraw it. One should never trust strangers on the Internet, but should do his own research and decide what to do. That's the way of crypto - you are your own bank Wink

Hard Fork Policy Announcement

We've posted comments about how we plan to handle the upcoming Bitcoin Gold and Segwit 2x hard forks. You can find a hot link with this information on nearly every menu of the freebitco.in site.

Quote from: FreeBitco.in HARD FORK POLICY
Bitcoin has 2 hard forks planned in the near future - "Bitcoin Gold" and "Bitcoin Segwit 2x". As we have done with the "Bitcoin Cash" hard fork in the past, we shall support withdrawals of all hard fork coins as long as they are viable - ie. have wallet support, a working blockchain and straightforward redemption policies.

The "Bitcoin Gold" hard fork currently does not seem to be a viable fork - since they have not given any information about the fork on their website (btcgpu.org) and have no supported wallets yet. If there are no wallets that support it, we shall not be able to make "Bitcoin Gold" available for withdrawals. If however, there is wallet support for "Bitcoin Gold" before the hard fork date and the block number for the fork is announced in advance, we shall make it available for withdrawal.

We shall be supporting the "Bitcoin Segwit 2x" fork since it already has a working wallet and has announced the block number when the hard fork will happen. If a majority of miners switch to "Bitcoin Segwit 2x" and it has the chain with the most Proof-of-Work, we shall make it our primary coin and "Bitcoin Core" coins will be made available for withdrawal to your own wallets, otherwise "Bitcoin Core" shall remain our primary coin and "Bitcoin Segwit 2x" coins will be made available for withdrawal to your own wallets. In either case, users will receive coins in both the majority and minority chain equivalent to the balance that they had on the website prior to the hard fork.

We shall be pausing deposits and withdrawals temporarily before the "Bitcoin Segwit 2x" hard fork until a clear winner has emerged. Everything else on the website will function as usual. The fork is scheduled to happen at around the middle of November. We shall give advance notice of when deposits and withdrawals will be paused before the fork date.

Any questions? You know where to shout!

Has wetsuit said anything about the mining? It has disappeared from the site, but still counts hashes if you have it bookmarked.

Is it gone for good?

Slava Ukraini!
Recaptcha is driving me mad, and i'm worried about getting flagged for multiple failures of the captcha - its taking me 6-7 goes to get it to work  Angry

This is the same for every faucet site that is using it, there is a solution in that you can get them to work in Firefox private window but I have 2FA and a really long strong password and can't do that every hour Sad

I can't be the only one having this problem? Just having an option of using 2 different captchas would solve the problem - the solvemedia used on freedogecoin I have no problems at all with.

You can try to delete Google cookies on your browser - it's temporrary solution until captcha become hard again. Recently I posted sveral questions about captcha on freebitco.in, but so far Wetsuit or Myfe didn't explained why they using Recaptcha again, instead of 6 letter captcha or Solve Media.
