Thanks for your reply,
TheQuin.
Wait, in my example, this guy (who earned an imaginary 1000 for me) gets a fair share in the first time based on his activity (in the middle of the week). After that he
did nothing till the end of the week
but still gets (after the second satoshis distribution) a bigger cut for free from satoshis amount earned by other referrals, therefore their share will become less than should be. Are you with me? I'm not sure that this can be considered as a fair sharing.
The thing is that I want to stimulate my referrals more often than once a week, but this idea becomes pointless because of the significant difference between their turnovers. In the light of described situation that interferes intending to motivate less active members.
Is there any chance that you would implement a feature (another checkbox) that will allow taking into account activity since the last period of the share distribution only (at least for a one-week time frame)? I mean, not based on scheduled Sunday's share event, but some kind of dynamic activity tracker, which allows sharing only with referrals who were really active since the time they were rewarded previously (in case if share distribution happens multiple times during the week).
Please, don't get me wrong. I'm not whining or complaining. I respect your Team responsiveness and the sense of receptiveness for the community members ask and proposals, and I just want to make a reasonable suggestion, which could improve user involvement in the FreeBitcoin environment. I think that would benefit both sides. And thank you very much for your efforts and support. I really appreciate your work.
You're overcomplicating things. The database keeps a record of total ref com earned and ref com earned this week. Trying to keep track of when and what each of 45 million accounts has already shared this week would require a lot of resources for almost no benefit.
Hello
TheQuin,
Am I overcomplicating things? Really?
Let's do the math:
I assume, that accordingly to several of your lottery round reports (on Twitter) you have about 600,000 active members who claimed free BTC at least once a week (not multiplied nor gambled, but just claimed) + I guess, maybe a few thousands of members who disabled the tickets in favor of rew. points. About 2/3 of them are really active (more or less). So, let's say that the total number is about 500k. (500k / 45mio) * 100 = ~1,11% The real number is nearly close to
1,1% of active users from 45 million accounts the users had registered by that date.
I suppose that members who only keep their BTC for annual interest
are perfectly fit in this number as well. Think about the ratio of 500k to 45mio.
I noticed that there is a lot of newcomers, who lose interest before they get a weekly reward. Instead, they would become loyal members if they'll get the motivation before they leave, IMHO. That is not only in my case, but that is a general picture accordingly to the simple math above.
The server load won't be that big if you implement this feature for the guys who reached let's say 1000-5000 referrals mark (in comparison to 45mio users). But that will allow these guys to be more fair and flexible in a strategy of share distribution, which in its turn will motivate their referrals to be more active on your platform not only in free games. As well as prevent some % of cheating attempts.
Anyway, it's an idea and it's up to you to decide whether you want to increase members' involvement or you're happy with the current situation (1,1%).
Cheers,
